I. Safety instructions
-Protect the device from dirt, moisture, overheating,
and extreme temperatures and only use it in dry
rooms.
-Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
-Only use suitable charging devices or USB connec-
tions for charging.
-Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery
to completely discharge. Discharge & recharge the
product at least every 3 months.
-This product is no toy, and should not be given to
children.
-In case of a leaking batterie avoid a contact with skin
or eyes. If a direct contact occurs, wash with plenty
of water and consult a doctor.
-This product must only be built in and repaired by
professionals.
-Do not expose your ears to high volume for a long
period of time (max. 5 min. nonstop / overall max. 3
hours per week), to avoid hearing damage.
-Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.

V. Operation
-Connect the plug of the supplied cable (11) with the
related charging connector (5).
-Connect the other side of the cable (11) with a
suitable source of energy. Always consider the
mentioned voltage and power information on your
devices in this step.
-Wait until the product is fully charged before you
continue. Disconnect the cable after the charging, to
conserve the battery life.
-The LED indicator (4) illuminates permanently, as
soon as the battery is fully charged.
-Open the charging box (3) and take out the
headphones.
-Enter the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone and
search for following device: 4smarts SkyPods.
-The headphones now connect to each other
automatically. The LED of the main headphone
(=master headphone) will illuminate orange and
white alternately. This headphone will be the one,
connecting to your terminal device.
-After successful connection the status LED (8) of
both headphones stop illuminating.
-If you don‘t put the headphones back into the
charging box (3) for more than 10 minutes, they
will automatically switch off to save energy. You can
easily switch them on by holding both multifunction
keys (7) for 2 seconds simultaneously.
-VI. Function notes
Recharging the charger:
-While charging the charging box via USB cable, the
LED indicator (4) of the charging cradle shows, how
much energy is already inside the charging box:
• 100%: Permanently lighting up
• 99-75%: 4x Flashing all 2 seconds
• 74-50%: 3x Flashing all 2 seconds
• 49-25%: 2x Flashing all 2 seconds
• <25%: 1x Flashing all 2 seconds
Recharging the headphones:
-As soon as you return the headphones into the char-
ging box (3) and close its lid, the headphones switch
off and change into charging mode. The premise for
this is, that the charging box has enough energy.
-As long as there is no USB cable connected, the LED
indicator (4) shows, if the inserted headphones are
being charged.
-Permanently lighting up: Headphones are being
charged.
-No lighting up: Headphones are fully charged.
General headphone controls:
-Keep the multifunction key (7) pressed for 6 seconds
to switch off one headphone. You can continue to
listen with one headphone to save the battery of the
other headphone for later. To do so, simply keep the

X. Disposal notication
Electric and electronic devices as well as batteries
must not be disposed of with household waste.
Consumers are obliged by law to return electric and
electronic devices as well as batteries at the end of
their service lives to the public collecting points set up
for this purpose or point of sale.

-Play/Pause:
-Shortly press the Multifunction key (7) to pause
or continue while listening to music.
-Take a call / reject a call:
-Press the multifunction key (7) shortly to take a
call. Keep it pressed in order to reject a call.
-Double click the multifunction key (7) to activate the
voice assistant (works only on selected phones).
-Keep the multifunction key (7) pressed for 2 seconds
while making a phone call to switch between head-
phone and smartphone and vice versa.
-While listening to music, keep the multifunction key
(7) of the left headphone pressed for 2 seconds, to
jump one song backward. The other multifunction
key lets you jump one song forward.
Neck strap:
-Optionally push the thin end of the headphone into
the opening of the neck strap (10) for wearing the
headpones around your neck.
VII. Troubleshooting
Setting up connection doesn‘t work:
-Make sure that the product
• is fully charged.
• is inside the working range of the device.
• is not already connected to any other device
(deactivate Bluetooth at surrounding, other
devices).
-Make sure that your terminal device
• is compatible to the Bluetooth version, listed in the
technical data in this manual.
• has an active Bluetooth connection, and is in
pairing mode.
• does not have other, active connections running.
Depending on the terminal device and its software,
setting up the connection may take longer. Wait up
to a minute, or try again in surroundings with less or
minimal radio communication.
The communication is not clear:
-Try again in a mostly wind and hall free surrounding.
-Try to connect the product to a different terminal
device.
-Try to call to a different terminal device.
-Try again in surroundings with less or minimal radio
communication.
VIII. Care and Maintenance
Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.

I. Sicherheitshinweise
-Schütze das Gerät vor Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit, Über-
hitzung und extremen Temperaturen und verwende
es nur in trockenen Räumen.
-Lass das Produkt nicht fallen und setze es keinen
heftigen Erschütterungen aus.
-Verwende nur geeignete Ladegeräte oder USB-An-
schlüsse zum Aufladen.
-Überlade oder tiefentlade das Produkt nicht. Lade &
entlade das Produkt mindestens alle 3 Monate.
-Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, gib es daher nicht
in Kinderhände.
-Im Falle eines undichten Akkus darf die Flüssigkeit
nicht mit der Haut oder den Augen in Berührung ge-
langen. Spüle im Falle einer Berührung mit reichlich
Wasser aus und konsultiere einen Arzt.
-Lass das Produkt nur von Fachleuten einbauen und
reparieren.
-Höre über längere Zeiträume nicht mit erhöhter
Lautstärke (max. 5 Min. am Stück / insgesamt max.
3 Stunden pro Woche), da sonst Gehörschäden
auftreten können.
-Nimm keine Veränderungen am Gerät vor. Dadurch
verlierst du jegliche Gewährleistungsansprüche.

V. Inbetriebnahme
-Verbinde den Stecker des mitgelieferten Kabels (11)
mit dem entsprechenden Lade-Anschluss (5).
-Verbinde die andere Seite des Kabels (11) mit einer
geeigneten Stromquelle. Achte hierbei stets auf
die genannten Spannungs- und Leistungsangaben
deiner Geräte.
-Warte bis das Produkt vollständig geladen ist, bevor
du fortfährst. Trenne nach vollständigem Laden das
Kabel, um den Akku zu schonen.
-Wenn die LED-Statusanzeige (4) permanent auf-
leuchtet, ist der Akku vollständig geladen.
-Öffne die Ladeschale (3) und entnimm die
Kopfhörer.
-Gehe in die Bluetooth-Einstellungen deines Smart-
phones und suche nach: 4smarts SkyPods.
-Die Kopfhörer verbinden sich nun automatisch
miteinander. Die LED des Haupt-Kopfhörers (=Mas-
ter-Kopfhörer) leuchtet nun abwechselnd orange
und weiß auf. Dies ist der Kopfhörer, der sich zum
Endgerät verbindet.
-Nach erfolgreichem Verbindungsaufbau erlischt die
Status-LED (8) bei beiden Kopfhörern.
-Werden die Kopfhörer für mehr als 10 Minuten
nicht in die Ladeschale (3) zurückgelegt, schalten
sie sich zum Energie sparen automatisch aus. Du
kannst diese aber über 2-sekündiges, gleichzeitiges
Gedrückthalten der Multifunktionstasten (7) manuell
einschalten.
-VI. Hinweise zur Funktion
Aufladen der Ladeschale:
-Während die Ladestation mittels USB-Kabel geladen
wird, zeigt dessen LED-Statusanzeige (4), wie viel
Energie bereits in ihr steckt:
• 100%: Permanentes Aufleuchten
• 99-75%: 4x Aufleuchten alle 2 Sekunden
• 74-50%: 3x Aufleuchten alle 2 Sekunden
• 49-25%: 2x Aufleuchten alle 2 Sekunden
• <25%: 1x Aufleuchten alle 2 Sekunden
Aufladen der Kopfhörer:
-Werden die Kopfhörer in die Ladeschale (3) zurück-
gelegt, und die Verschlusskappe der Ladestation
geschlossen, schalten sich die Kopfhörer automatisch
aus und wechseln in den Lademodus. Hierfür muss
die Ladeschale jedoch über genügend Energie
verfügen.
-Solange kein USB-Kabel angeschlossen ist, zeigt
die LED-Statusanzeige (4) an, ob die eingelegten
Kopfhörer geladen werden.
-Permanentes Aufleuchten: Kopfhörer werden
geladen.
-Kein Aufleuchten: Kopfhörer sind vollständig
geladen.

-Versuche es ggf. erneut in einer Umgebung mit
geringerem bzw. minimalem Funkverkehr.
VIII. Wartung & Pege
Verwende zur Reinigung nur trockene, weiche Tücher.
IX. Gewährleistung
Die 4smarts übernimmt keinerlei Haftung oder
Gewährleistung für Schäden, die aus unsachgemäßer
Installation, Montage und unsachgemäßem Gebrauch
des Produktes oder einer Nichtbeachtung der
Bedienungsanleitung und/oder der Sicherheitshinweise
resultieren.
X. Hinweise zum Umweltschutz
Elektrische und elektronische Geräte sowie
Batterien dürfen nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt wer-
den. Der Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpflichtet, elek-
trische und elektronische Geräte sowie Batterien am
Ende ihrer Lebensdauer an den dafür eingerichteten,
öffentlichen Sammelstellen oder an die Verkaufsstelle
zurückzugeben.

XII. Konformitätshinweis
Hiermit erklärt die 4smarts GmbH, dass sich dieses
Produkt in Übereinstimmung mit den grundlegen-
den Anforderungen und den übrigen einschlägigen
Bestimmungen der Richtlinie 2014/53/EU befindet. Die

Generelle Kopfhörersteuerung:
-Halte die Multifunktionstaste (7) eines Kopfhörers für
6 Sekunden gedrückt, um die Kopfhörer auszuschal-
ten. Du kannst mit einem Kopfhörer weiter hören, um
die Akkuleistung des anderen Kopfhörers für später
aufzusparen. Halte hierfür die Multifunktionstaste
eines Kopfhörers für 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt.
-Play/Pause:
-Drücke beim Musik hören kurz die Multifunkti-
onstaste (7) zum Anhalten bzw. Fortsetzen der
Wiedergabe.
-Anruf annehmen / ablehnen:
-Drücke die Multifunktionstaste (7) kurz zum
Annehmen eines Anrufs. Halte die Taste gedrückt,
um Anrufe abzulehnen.
-Doppelklicke die Multifunktionstaste (7) zur
Aktivierung von Sprachassistenten (abhängig vom
verwendeten Smartphone).
-Halte die Multifunktionstaste (7) eines Kopfhörers
für 2 Sekunden während eines Anrufs gedrückt, um
zwischen Kopfhörer und Smartphone hin und her
zu wechseln.
-Halte die Multifunktionstaste (7) des linken Kopf-
hörers für 2 Sekunden während des Musik hörens
gedrückt, um einen Song zurück zu springen. Die
andere Multifunktionstaste lässt dich einen Song
überspringen.
Nackenband:
-Schiebe bei Bedarf den Stift der Kopfhörer in die
Öffnungen des Nackenbands (10) um die Kopfhörer
um den Hals tragen zu können.
VII. Fehlerbeseitigung
Der Verbindungsaufbau funktioniert nicht:
-Stelle sicher, dass das Produkt
• vollständig geladen ist.
• sich in Reichweite zum Gerät befindet.
• nicht bereits mit anderen Geräten verbunden ist
(ggf. Bluetooth an anderen Geräten deaktivieren).
-Stelle sicher, dass dein Endgerät
• kompatibel zu der in den technischen Angaben
angegebenen Bluetooth Version ist.
• eine aktive Bluetooth-Verbindung hat, und sich im
Pairing-Modus befindet.
• keine anderen aktiven Geräteverbindungen besitzt.
Je nach Endgerät und dessen Software kann die
erstmalige Verbindungsaufnahme länger dauern. Warte
bis zu einer Minute, oder versuche es ggf. erneut in
einer Umgebung mit geringerem bzw. minimalem
Funkverkehr.
Die Verständigung ist nicht klar:
-Versuche es erneut in einer wind- und hallfreien
Umgebung.
-Versuche die Verbindung zu einem anderen Endgerät.
-Rufe auf einem anderen Telefon an.
