I. Safety instructions
-Protect the device from dirt, moisture, overheating,
and extreme temperatures and only use it in dry
rooms.
-Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
-Only use suitable charging devices or USB connec-
tions for charging.
-Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery
to completely discharge. Discharge & recharge the
product at least every 3 months.
-This product is no toy, and should not be given to
children.
-In case of a leaking batterie avoid a contact with skin
or eyes. If a direct contact occurs, wash with plenty
of water and consult a doctor.
-This product must only be built in and repaired by
professionals.
-Do not expose your ears to high volume for a long
period of time (max. 5 min. nonstop / overall max. 3
hours per week), to avoid hearing damage.
-Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.

V. Operation
-Connect the plug of the supplied cable (11) with the
related charging connector (5).
-Connect the other side of the cable (11) with a
suitable source of energy. Always consider the
mentioned voltage and power information on your
devices in this step.
-Wait until the product is fully charged before you
continue. Disconnect the cable after the charging, to
conserve the battery life.
-The LED indicator (4) illuminates permanently, as
soon as the battery is fully charged.
-Open the charging box (3) and take out the
headphones.
-Enter the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone and
search for following device: 4smarts SkyPods.
-The headphones now connect to each other
automatically. The LED of the main headphone
(=master headphone) will illuminate orange and
white alternately. This headphone will be the one,
connecting to your terminal device.
-After successful connection the status LED (8) of
both headphones stop illuminating.
-If you don‘t put the headphones back into the
charging box (3) for more than 10 minutes, they
will automatically switch off to save energy. You can
easily switch them on by holding both multifunction
keys (7) for 2 seconds simultaneously.
-VI. Function notes
Recharging the charger:
-While charging the charging box via USB cable, the
LED indicator (4) of the charging cradle shows, how
much energy is already inside the charging box:
• 100%: Permanently lighting up
• 99-75%: 4x Flashing all 2 seconds
• 74-50%: 3x Flashing all 2 seconds
• 49-25%: 2x Flashing all 2 seconds
• <25%: 1x Flashing all 2 seconds
Recharging the headphones:
-As soon as you return the headphones into the char-
ging box (3) and close its lid, the headphones switch
off and change into charging mode. The premise for
this is, that the charging box has enough energy.
-As long as there is no USB cable connected, the LED
indicator (4) shows, if the inserted headphones are
being charged.
-Permanently lighting up: Headphones are being
charged.
-No lighting up: Headphones are fully charged.
General headphone controls:
-Keep the multifunction key (7) pressed for 6 seconds
to switch off one headphone. You can continue to
listen with one headphone to save the battery of the
other headphone for later. To do so, simply keep the

installation or mounting, improper use of the
product or from failure to observe the opera-
ting instructions and/or safety notes.
X. Disposal notication
Electric and electronic devices as well as batteries
must not be disposed of with household waste.
Consumers are obliged by law to return electric and
electronic devices as well as batteries at the end of
their service lives to the public collecting points set up
for this purpose or point of sale.

seconds to pair only one headphone.
-Play/Pause:
-Shortly press the Multifunction key (7) to pause
or continue while listening to music.
-Take a call / reject a call:
-Press the multifunction key (7) shortly to take a
call. Keep it pressed in order to reject a call.
-Double click the multifunction key (7) to activate the
voice assistant (works only on selected phones).
-Keep the multifunction key (7) pressed for 2 seconds
while making a phone call to switch between head-
phone and smartphone and vice versa.
-While listening to music, keep the multifunction key
(7) of the left headphone pressed for 2 seconds, to
jump one song backward. The other multifunction
key lets you jump one song forward.
Neck strap:
-Optionally push the thin end of the headphone into
the opening of the neck strap (10) for wearing the
headpones around your neck.
VII. Troubleshooting
Setting up connection doesn‘t work:
-Make sure that the product
• is fully charged.
• is inside the working range of the device.
• is not already connected to any other device
(deactivate Bluetooth at surrounding, other
devices).
-Make sure that your terminal device
• is compatible to the Bluetooth version, listed in the
technical data in this manual.
• has an active Bluetooth connection, and is in
pairing mode.
• does not have other, active connections running.
Depending on the terminal device and its software,
setting up the connection may take longer. Wait up
to a minute, or try again in surroundings with less or
minimal radio communication.
The communication is not clear:
-Try again in a mostly wind and hall free surrounding.
-Try to connect the product to a different terminal
device.
-Try to call to a different terminal device.
-Try again in surroundings with less or minimal radio
communication.
VIII. Care and Maintenance
Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.
