|APPLICATION
The 75F® Pressure Sensor Package™is designed to monitor the
differential pressure inside your building. Pressure in a building can be
created in several ways. Buildings are generally designed to exhaust
as much air as is being taken in, but circumstances often arise that
create a positive or negative pressure in a space. Typically, a building
should maintain a slightly positive pressure, +0.01 inches’ water
column. 75F solutions can regulate the pressure differential when the
Pressure Sensor Package Solution is used in conjunction with a 75F®
Outside Air Optimization™Package.
|PRECAUTIONS
•Failure to wire devices with the correct polarity when using a
shared transformer may result in damage to any device
powered by the shared transformer.
•Do NOT mount the tubing so that the inside or outside tube
ends are in direct line of a breeze or draft.
•Remove power before wiring. Never connect or disconnect
wiring with the power applied. Do not allow live wires to
touch the circuit boards.

Mount the Smart Node
use two #8-1.5” Sheet metal screws. Mount
the controller so that the antenna points straight up. The controller
may be mounted on the chassis of the unit or on the plenum.
Mounting the Pressure transmitter.
The transmitter is factory
calibrated and should be installed vertically with the brass fittings
pointing downward and the arrow on the label pointing upward. If
the unit must be installed flat there may be a zero shift. The shift can
be corrected with the zero-adjustment located inside the enclosure.
To adjust the zero, both pressure ports must be open to the
atmosphere. If the span needs to be adjusted, please contact ACI.
Mount the Interior Pickup Port
through a ceiling tile.
Mount the Exterior Pickup Port
to the side of the RTU where it will not
impede any door opening and in no direct vacuum like the OA intake
or near any exhaust port.

Turn power off. 18AWG T-stat wire is recommended. Follow the
wiring diagram to wire the Smart Node and the A/DP2 Pressure
Sensor.
Powering the controller. Use 18/2AWG to run power from the 24VAC
transformer to the 75F Smart Node as shown below.
Wiring the A/DP2. Use 18/3AWG to run power from the 75F controller
to the pressure sensor as shown in Fig.3. The power for the A/DP2 is
internally connected so that the controller will power the A/DP2
pressure differential sensor.
Low Pressure Port connects to outside and High Pressure
Port connects to inside. Using a length of ¼” O.D., 0.170”ID
polyethylene tubing. Push one end over the brass fitting on the A/DP2

Cut to length and push the tubing to the barbed connector on the
pickup port. Using the leftover length of tubing, connect to the high-
pressure port on the A/DP2 and run the length to the interior pickup
port.
|PAIRING
Pair the Pressure controller
as a Pressure sensor in System Devices.
Once power is supplied to the system, the Smart Node should read
default room.
1. Press the Right button on the Smart Node until “Advertising”
is displayed.
2.
2. With the CCU Tablet within 20’ of the Smart Node press “Pair
Pressure Sensor” from Setup > Settings > System Devices >
Pressure.
3. When the Bluetooth pairing process is complete on the Tablet the
Pressure Smart Node will read only “Pressure” until the CM and
Tablet are reconnected. Now pair other modules or snap the Tablet
back onto the CM. The Pressure Smart Node will begin
communicating over the 900Mhz channel. Once communicating over
long range the Pressure Smart Node will display relevant information.

|CONFIGURATION | CONFIRMATION
Once paired, ensure that the sensor is reading accurately. To do this
you will go to the Central Control Unit (CCU), or the 75F installer app
on your iPhone or Android device to look at the pressure value. On
the CCU go to the Zones tab and see the Pressure reading in “W.C.
Check that the value is not maxed out in either direction, +0.25wc or
-0.25wc.
To look at the summary page on the CCU tap on the 75F logo in the
upper left 4 times and a new tab will appear titled Summary.
In the Summary tab look at the Pressure Sensor section and check
that there are rational values being displayed for the differential
pressure. Typical differential pressure values under static conditions
should be 0.0 inches’ water column, +/- 0.05 is acceptable under
static conditions. If there are no values, check that the Pressure
Sensor Controller is paired correctly, and check that the connections
to the sensor are color coded correctly and are firmly plugged in to
their terminals. Hide the Summary tab again by pressing the logo
until it disappears.
|TROUBLESHOOTING
No display
No power to controller. Check voltage to controller
is 24V.

Ensure that the pressure tubes are plugged into
the correct ports on the pressure sensor. Ensure
that the exterior pressure terminal is properly
sealed –the breach into the unit should be filled
with the supplied foam, or with silicone if the
supplied foam is missing
No pressure

If there is no differential pressure value displayed
in the system summary, first use your voltmeter to
check that there is a DC signal of ~5VDC being
sent to the controller from the Pressure sensor. If
there is, check that the Smart Node is powered.
