Important Notice
• This product is intended for use in motor vehicle only.
Do NOT install the camera where it might block the driver’
s view of road(including the mirrors) or the deployment of
the airbag.
• Please make sure you are using a high-speed Micro SD
card (Class 10 or above, max supports 128GB.), and format
the card in the camera menu at the first use.
• Be sure the camera lens is clean and there is nothing
blocking the lens.
• DO NOT leave the camera in direct sunlight for a long
period of time or where the temperature could go above
140°F(60°C)
• If the camera is recording, you can't go into menu
setting, please press OK to stop video recording first.
• To work, the dash cam must be connected to the car's
cigarette lighter socket or hardwired to the car's fuse box.
• To use Parking Monitor when the car engine is off, please
buy a hard wire kit (mini USB type) for dash cam and then
connect it with the dash cam to the vehicle’s fuse box so
as to supply the power to the camera.

Set up and Installation
1.Use the suction cup mount to install the M18 dash cam
on the windshield, recommended place near the rear view
mirror facing front, adjust the lens angle for best coverage.
2.Plug the included power adapter Into the car cigarette
lighter socket, the indicator will light up meaning power is
on.
3.Connect the power cable to the camera. For better
looking, route the excess cable alongside the Interior trim
as the diagram shows.
4.Install the rear view camera on the rear windscreen (inside
the car), adjust the lens angle for best coverage, then
connect the rear camera connector to the main unit.
5. After installation, please start the engine, and do a bench
test to make sure all function works well.

Operating Mode
The M18 operates in 3 modes: Video Recording Mode,
Photo
Mode and Playback Mode, These modes also have menu
to help you configure recording .
Press [M]button to switch between different modes and
access the mode you want. The red light on top left corner
of the screen means the dash cam has the power on. The
blue light flash means the dash cam is recording.
A. Video recording Mode
The camera will automatically enter video recording mode
and start recording when connected to a car charger and
power on.
A Red dot flashing on the top left corner indicates recording
is in progress. Press the to stop recording, or start
recording again.

In all 3 operating mode, you can press the button once
to access the menu settings.
Press ▲and ▼ to scroll through the various setting options
and press to select and confirm selection.
Press again to exit the setting menu.
Video Recording Menu
Resolution: Adjust front lens recording video resolution,
1080P 30fps / 720P 30fps available. The rear camera will
record in 1080P only.
Cycle Record (Loop Recording) : This function allows you
to set video file length to 1/2 minutes, Selecta value to
activate loop recording, so when storage fills up,it will
automatically loop back to the earliest file and overwrite it.
WDR: Turn on and off the WDR function.
Audio Record: Turn ON/OFF audio recording in video.
G-Sensor: OFF / Low / Middle / High. G-sensor will detect
significant or sudden shock and movement then the camera
will automatically lock current recording file from loop
recording, detection sensitivity can be adjusted accordingly.
Parking Monitor: With optional hard wire kit connected, the

parking monitor is enabled, the camera will stay standby
after the engine is turned off. When camera detects
shaking, it will automatically turn on and take a short
video, then return to standby automatically.
Beep: Turn ON / OFF button operation notification sound.
Time Setup: Setup time and date, Use the UP and Down
button to adjust values, press OK to confirm changes.
Date Format: Enable/ Disable the date and time marked
in image files. YYYY-MM-DD / M-M-DD-YYYY/ DD-MM-
YYYY available.
Language : Choose the camera system language.
Light Frequency: Adjust light frequency according to
local regulation, 50Hz/ 60Hz available.
Screen Saver: OFF/30S/1 min/3 min available. Set the
time to automatically turn off the LCD display after no
operation.
Motion Detection: Turn ON / OFF motion detection
function.
Format: Format the memory card.
Reset Setup: Reset all settings back to factorydefault.
Version: Check camera firmware version.

B. Photo Taking Mode
The M18 dash camera can operate in Photo Taking Mode,
and take HD photo.
To take a photo:
In standby mode, press [M] to switch to Photo Mode, and
thenpress to take a photo.
Playback Mode:
This mode allows you to playback recorded video or view
photos, and manage the recorded files.
1.Stop the video recording, Press the [M] button twice to
enter Playback Mode, you can view all the files in this mode.
2.In Playback Mode, the File folders will be displayed in
order: Front Camera Video (Normal Files as default)Rear
Camera Video (Normal Files as default)Front Camera Photo
Rear Camera Photo Press [M] Button to switch to the Next
folder.
3.Use the UP and DOWN button to scroll through the
recorded files / photos, and press OK to play or pause
playing the selected file.
4.Press Menu button to quit playback and return to file list.
5.Use the Playback Menu to manage the files. Press Menu
button to enter setup menu.

C.Press to Enter Playback Mode Setup Menu
Volume: Adjust the playback volume.
Delete: Delete the recorded files.
Protect: Use this option to Lock and Unlock files, locked
files will not be overwritten by loop recording.
Video Type: Normal / Emergency available. The Playback
Mode will only show normal files as default, if you want to
view the Emergency Locked files. Please setup the video
type in setup menu.
Important Notice:

2.The front and rear camera records video simultaneously,
and the files are connected, if you delete the NO:1 front
camera file, the corresponding NO:1 rear camera file will be
deleted as well.

Common Problems and Answers:
Q: The internal battery, despite receiving a one-night
charge,barely lasts a few minutes? /Without external
power supply, the camera only lasts very short time, or
just can't turn on?
A: The built-in battery is only to save files urgently in case
of sudden power off. The dash cam is powered by the car.
The car camera will automatically switch on/off when the
car engine ignition is on/off. No need to charge the dash
cam battery or worry about the battery level. It is not
designed to work without external power supply, so please
keeps the camera connecting to car's cigarette lighter
socket, while you starts the car, your car is supplying
power to the dash cam, the dash cam will turns on and
record video. However, once the car turns off, the dash
cam will turn off and stop recording as well. If you don't
want to connect the cigarette lighter, you can also hard
wire the camera to the car's fuse box. Please purchase
a "dash cam hard wire kit"(mini USB type) separately.
Q: Why I can't go into menu setting?
A: If the dash cam is recording, you can't go into menu
setting,please press OK to stop video recording first.
Q: How does the rear camera run?
A: The rear view will automatically show on the screen
when power on.In standby mode or video recording modes,
press UP button to switch front and rear display views.

Q: The parking monitor does not work?
A: All dash cams on the market are powered by the car.
After the dash cam is plugging in the car cigarette lighter
socket, while starting the car, the car will supply power to
the dash cam, the dash cam will turn on and record the
video. However, once the car shuts down, the dash cam
shuts down and also stops recording. Therefore, it does
not react tomovements and impacts after the engine is
switched off. Therefore,if you want to activate the dash
cam to monitor your car after thecar shuts down during
overnight parking, the dash cam needs to bewired to the
car's fuse box. Please purchase a "dash cam hard wire kit"
(mini USB type) separately.
Q:The dash cam stops automatically when recording?
A:Please do the following trouble shootings:
(1)Check whether the memory is full.
(2)Check whether the loop recording function of the dash
cam is working.
(3)Check whether the Micro SD card is high-speed above

(4)Check the memory card, there might be too many
locked videothat the loop recording won't work right.
Q:If the video played on the computer is somehow
jammed ornot fluent. There might be the problem
with the memory card speed?
A:Please follow the steps below:
(1)Format your Micro SD card in the camera.
(2)Change one high quality card.

Q:There are stripes interference in the video?
A:There should be wrong light frequency. According to
the ocal main frequency, make the appropriate settings
50HZ or 60HZ.
Q:Suction mount cannot attach on windshield well?
A:Please follow the steps below:
(1)Please clean the windscreen where attaching with a
glass cleaning wipe. Remove the protective film, If it does
not work,warming your windscreen then try it again.
(2)Please soak suction mount to warm water for a moment.

• Um den Parkmonitor bei ausgeschaltetem Fahrzeugmotoru
verwenden, kaufen Sie bitte einen Festkabelsatz (Mini-USB
Typ) für die Dashcam und schließen Sie ihn dann mit der
Dashcam an den Sicherungskasten des Fahrzeugs an, um die
Kamera mit Strom zu versorgen.

Einrichten und Installieren
1. Verwenden Sie die Saugnapfhalterung, um die M18
Dashcam an der Windschutzscheibe zu installieren,
empfohlener Platz in der Nähe des Rückspiegels mit Blick
nach vorne, stellen Sie den Objektivwinkel für die beste
Abdeckung ein.
2. Stecken Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil in die Zigarettenan
zünderbuchse des Autos, die Anzeige leuchtet auf, was
bedeutet, dass die Kamera eingeschaltet ist.
3. Schließen Sie das Stromkabel an die Kamera an. Führen
Sie das überschüssige Kabel der besseren Übersicht halber
entlangder Innenverkleidung, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt.
4. Installieren Sie die Rückfahrkamera an der hinteren
Windschutzscheibe (im Fahrzeuginneren), stellen Sie den
Objektivwinkel für die beste Abdeckung ein und schließen
Sie dann den Stecker der Rückfahrkamera an das
Hauptgerät an.
