The IR remote control has been specially developed for the customer for commissioning the Busch-Watchdog
movement detectors. The functions and settings can be comfortably controlled without a ladder or an electrical
installer. For this the IR remote control have to be aligned directly to the Busch-Watchdog movement detector.
The IR remote control serves for adjusting Busch-Watchdog devices.
The IR remote control 6841-101 can only be operated with Bush-Watchdogs 110 MasterLINE and
220 / 280 MasterLINE.

The following settings can be made with the IR remote control:

1 Resetting the brightness limit value to the settings of the potentiometers on the device.
2 Setting the current brightness as brightness limit value.
3 Deactivation of presence simulation.
4 Activation of presence simulation.
– Continuous light between twilight and 22:30 p.m. CET or 23:30 CEST. Followed by movement detection.
5 Light deactivation for 4 hours (no detection of movement).
6 Light activation for 4 hours (no detection of movement).
7 Deactivating automatic movement detection and 4 hours light On / Off.

4.1 Brightness switching threshold
OFF
Deletes the brightness switching threshold stored via the remote control
and activates the setting of the brightness potentiometer on the device.
LUX Memo
Info / symbol of the "Brightness switching threshold" setting option.
ON
Stores the current brightness value as brightness threshold value on the
device.
4.2 Presence simulation
OFF
Deactivates presence simulation.
There is a reset to the operating mode that was active prior to the
activation.
Person / house
Symbol of the "Presence simulation" setting option.
ON
Activation of the presence simulation.
- Activation of light during twilight
– Switchover to automatic mode at approximately 22:30 p.m.
When presence simulation is activated, this gives the impression that persons are present in the house and is
therefore ideal for when you are away on holiday.
4.3 Continuous light
Continuous OFF / lamp is crossed out
The movement detector is activated for four hours. It then automatically
returns to the prior operating mode.
AUTO
Early pressing of the "AUTO" button reverts back to the previous
operating mode, the one that was active prior to pressing the continuous
light ON button.
Continuous light ON / lamp is on
The movement detector is activated for four hours. It is also active when
no one is within the detection range, but light is still required.
It then automatically returns to the prior operating mode.

The IR remote control is coded and must be programmed to the Busch-Watchdog during
commissioning (see chapter Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden.

This code (16 bit, corresponds to 65,536 possible variations) prevents movement detectors in the
surrounding area to be influenced unintentionally or deliberately.

1. Remove the protective foil from the battery before commissioning.
7.2 Programming the device

2. Press the "AUTO" button on the remote control for at least 3 seconds within the period of 10 minutes after
activating the power on the Busch-Watchdog.
- The Busch-Watchdog must be de-energized for at least 30 seconds.
- The remote control will then automatically connect itself to the Busch-Watchdog, and the Busch-
Watchdog will flash if the reception is correct.
- Repeat these steps to program a maximum of 9 additional remote controls.
