OTHER PARAMETERS USED DURING THE MOVEMENT
OF MENU-MODIFIED MOTORS:
PHASES OF MANEUVER IN OPENING:
A1 = REVERSE STROKE (before the opening movement, at
full power)
A2 = INITIAL START (selectable by ramp or step at full power)
A3 = QUICK MOVEMENT (adjustable speed acting on RAPID
PWM)
A4 = SLOW MOVEMENT (adjustable speed acting on SLOW
PWM)
A5 = BACKJUMP (backward leap) at the opening at the end of
the maneuver.
C1 = KICKSTART (selectable by ramp or step at full power)
C2 = QUICK MOVEMENT (adjustable speed acting on RAPID
PWM)
C3 = SLOW MOVEMENT (adjustable speed acting on SLOW
PWM)
C4 = EXTRA MOVEMENT
C5 = BACKJUMP (backward jump) in closing at the end of the
maneuver
TIPS ON HOW TO SET THE PARAMETERS:
- Adjust the rapid POWER according to the speed and thrust
you want on the door in fast movement
- Adjust the slow POWER according to the slowdown speed
you want
- Adjust the automation as "VERTICAL" if you want to set
gnisolcdnagnineporofseulavREWOPtnereffid
- Set a few seconds of EXTRA MOVEMENT if the automation
requires that the motor be powered for a few seconds more at
the end of the closing maneuver.
- Set a backjump of a few tenths of a second if you want the
leaf to move away from the closing bar at the end of the
movement.
- Use the REVERSE STROKE if a lock is installed on the door.
- Adjust the type and duration of the KICKSTART (by ramp for
a smooth and regular movement of the leaf or in step at full
power if the motor has diculty moving the leaf in the initial
phase of the movement).
During travel programming, the control unit calculates the correct
thgiewehtdnadesurotomcirtcelefoepytehtnodesabseulav
and inertia of the barrier.
It is however possible to enter the OBSTACLES menu to modify
the parameters with which the control unit recognizes the
presence of obstacles.
It is possible to use the MONITOR menu to check the encoder
current and frequency during opening and closing e
then select appropriate threshold values.
The obstacle is detected by the control unit only if the current rises
beyond a certain threshold value for a time T greater than the time
of hysteresis.
By raising and lowering the threshold value (dierentiated for slow
and fast for motor 1 and motor 2) it is possible to make the
automation more or less sensitive to obstacles.
By raising the hysteresis time it is possible to set the control unit
so that it ignores small obstacles, by lowering the hysteresis value
on the contrary it is possible to speed up the recognition of
obstacles.

To perform the test:
1. check that all the instructions in the "GENERAL
SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS" have
been strictly followed
2. check the correct installation of the fuse at the
programmed break.
3. using the control devices (transmitter, control button,
key selector, etc.), carry out tests for opening, closing
and stopping the chain, making sure that the movement
corresponds to what was expected. It is advisable to
carry out various tests in order to evaluate the
movement of the chain and ascertain any assembly or
adjustment defects, as well as the presence of
particular points of friction
4. check, one by one, the correct functioning of all the
safety devices present in the system (photocells, etc.)
5. check the correct functioning of the photocells by
proceeding as follows: depending on whether one or
two pairs of photocells have been installed, one or two
parallelepipeds of rigid material (eg polystyrene) with
measurements of 70x30x20 cm are required. Each
parallelepiped must have three sides, one for each
dimension, of reective material (eg, mirror or glossy
white paint) and three sides of opaque material (eg
painted in opaque black). To test the photocells
positioned at 50 cm from the ground
- make sure that the device intervenes in all cases,
passing from the state of active to the alarm state and
vice versa
- make sure that it causes the planned action in the
control unit (for example, the reversal of the movement
in the Closing maneuver)
7. verication of the safeguard for the danger of lifting:
in automatisms with vertical movement it is necessary
Testing and commissioning
Testing
COLLAUDOEMESSAINSERVIZIO
These are the most important phases in the realization
of the automation, in order to guarantee the maximum
safety of the plant. The test can also be used to
periodically check the devices that make up the
automation. The testing and commissioning phases of
the automation must be carried out by qualied and
experienced personnel who must take responsibility for
establishing the tests necessary to verify the solutions
adopted against the risks present, and to verify
compliance with the provisions of laws, regulations and
regulations: in particular, of all the requirements of the
standard EN 12445 which establishes the test methods
for the verication of the automatisms for gates. The
devices additional, they must be subjected to a specic
test, both in terms of functionality and in terms of their
correct interaction with the control panel. Then refer to
the instruction manuals of the individual devices.
to check that there is no danger of lifting. This test can be
performed as follows: - hang a weight of 20 Kg (for
example, a bag of gravel) in the middle of the chain -
command a "Closing" maneuver and check that
during this maneuver the chain does not exceed the height
of 50 cm from its position of total opening - if the chain
exceeds this height, it is necessary to reduce the
motor force 8. verication of the disconnection system
of the power supply: acting on the disconnection device
power supply and disconnecting any buer batteries, check
that all the LEDs on the control unit
are turned o and that by sending a command the auction
remains stationary. Check the eciency of the locking
system to avoid the
unintentional or unauthorized reconnection.
Commissioning
Commissioning can take place only after all the testing
phases have been successfully completed.
Before putting into service properly inform the owner about
the dangers and residual risks still present.
Partial commissioning or in "temporary" situations is
prohibited.
To carry out commissioning:
1. make the technical le of the automation which must
include the following documents: an overall drawing of the
automation, the layout of the electrical connections made,
the analysis of the risks present and the relative solutions
adopted, the declaration of conformity of the manufacturer
of all the devices used and the declaration of conformity
lled in by the installer
2. permanently x a label or a plate on the chain with the
operations for release and manual maneuver indicated
3. place on the chain-lift a label containing at least the
following data: type of automation, name and address of the
manufacturer (responsible for the "putting into service"),
serial number, year of construction and "CE" mark
