Description
IR-9MP is a 9-channel programmable IR receiver with 9
relay connections. The receiver can be programmed with all
GewaLink channels, coded channels (4096) and Infracode.
The receiver relays can independently be set for bistable
(latching) as well as monostable (non-latching) function.
Detector connection
The wires are colour-coded. Connect the wires as in the -
gure (connection block B and C). Up to two detectors can be
connected. Note! Only model P of detector can be used.
Relay connection
The receiver has 9 relay connections, which are connected to
connection block A, terminals 1-9. The voltage to be used is
connected to Com. on connection block A.
Supply voltage
Connect the power supply to connection block A, input +
and -. The supply voltage of the receiver is 8-24V DC. Note the
polarity!
Bistable or monostable function
IR-9MP can be programmed for monostable or bistable fun-
ction. This is done when the channels are programmed.
Description of the programming alternatives
There are two ways of programming the receiver channels:
1. Individual programming
In this way each relay can be programmed individually with
optional channel and mono/bistable function.
2. Rapid programming
All relays are automatically programmed with channels in
chronological order. In this way all relays become either
monostable or bistable.
Individual programming
Press a programming button and transmit at the same time
using the button on the transmitter that is intended for acti-
vation of the function. If you press the programming button
for approximately 1 second the function will be non-latching.
If you press the programming button for approximately 4
seconds the function will be latching. A ashing indicator
lamp on the receiver conrms the programming. Go on by
programming the next relay and so forth.
Rapid programming
Press two optional programming buttons at the same time
on the receiver and transmit by using the rst button on
the transmitter. If you press the programming buttons for
approximately 1 second all relays will be monostable. If you
press the programming buttons for approximately 4 seconds,
all relays will be bistable. The indicator lamps for all the relays
of the receiver ash in turn thus conrming the program-
ming.

Electronic locking
There is a possibility of locking/unlocking the receiver for the
user. If relay connection 9 is programmed with 4096 code, it will
be possible to lock/unlock the other relay connections. When
relay 9 is activated the receiver is locked.Tip! An indicator lamp
can be connected to output 9 to show whether the receiver is
locked/unlocked.
