PAIRING HEADSET WITH YOUR BLUETOOTH® DEVICE
You can pair the headset to any Bluetooth®-enabled device, like a cell phone, smartphone or a
Bluetooth®-enabled computer. You may also pair using a USB Bluetooth® dongle (not included) to
take calls to use with Skype or other meeting-type programs.
1. Press and hold the MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON for six seconds to put the headset into pairing
mode. The LED will flash between blue and red and you will hear a double tone.
2. Set your Bluetooth® device to search for Bluetooth® headset
Note: See your Bluetooth® device’s manual for additional information on Bluetooth® pairing if you
need assistance.
3. Select the headset “BT400” from the list of found devices and connect the headset to your
Bluetooth® device. If prompted ,enter "0000" for the passkey.
4. The headset has successfully paired with your device when its LED begins to flash blue twice
every few seconds.
Note: After pairing for the first time, the headset will remember your Bluetooth® device so you
should only need to do this once. When the headset automatically reconnects (or asks if it can
reconnect), it will sound a single tone.
OPERATION
LISTENING TO MUSIC/AUDIO
When your headset is connected to a device with an A2DP profile, you can listen to stereo music
from a transmitter through your headset. You can connect a USB dongle, AV transmitter or
cellular phone with A2DP supported profile. Almost any A2DP source device supports AVRCP
that can use play/pause, next track and pre-track function.
Note: If you use AV transmitter with 3.5mm audio jack it won’t support the AVRCP function.
Working in AV connection mode, you can;
• Short press PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON to toggle between play and pause
• Short press the FORWARD or BACKWARD button to move forward or backward through your
audio tracks.
• Short press MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON to initiate voice dial feature
• Use the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN button to increase or decrease the volume level
of your audio through your headset
LISTENING TO MUSIC/AUDIO

• Double click MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON to initiate last number redial function
Incoming call mode:
• Short press MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON/LED to accept a phone call
• Double click MULTI-FUNCTION BUTTON/LED when you hear a beep tone to reject call
While on a call mode:

TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the Bluetooth® Headset does not work, try the following:
• Ensure your Bluetooth® device has charged
• Turn off all devices and then turn them on in the order instructed
• Ensure devices are within approximately 30 feet of each other
• Ensure the headset is connected by checking its LED status
Note 1: Some A2DP sources, like a 3.5mm interface transmitter, cannot support an AVRCP profile.
The remote control function will not work.
Note 2: Only cellular phones that support a hands-free profile can use voice dial, last number
redial, or the call transfer function.
