Volume / Program Control
Your Personal Sound™ allows you to adjust the
loudness by briey depressing the silver Rocker
Switch, upward or downward in small steps. A
longer press on the switch changes the digital
amplier to the next adjacent listening program.
These environmental pre-sets change the basic level
and tone property. You can use the volume control
function (brief touch) in any of the pre-set programs
to achieve your desired level for a given situation.

Page 16
Program Control / Telephone
Telephone
Most users can hold the phone in the normal manner
with the Personal Sound™.
Pushing the Rocker Switch for about 2 seconds on
either the upper or lower multi-control button will
cause the program to change. Pushing the upper
part of the switch advances the program to the next
numerical program; the lower portion reverses the
program direction. You will hear the same number
of beeps (1, 2, 3, or 4) to announce the program you
are in each time you press and hold the rocker switch.
Each time the battery door is open (amplier turned
O) the device will return to Program 1 and the
default Volume position.
