To get the best from your new food processor, take a few moments to read
these instructions, and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
Should you require any further assistance, our friendly Product Care team will
be happy to help.

WARNING:
• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be observed, including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug,
or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Unplug from the mains outlet when not in use, before putting
on and taking off parts, before cleaning.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged
in any manner. The cord supplied cannot be replaced. If the
cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
Only use the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work top, or
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the Food Processor for extended periods of
time. The maximum operating time should not exceed 1
minute at a time without a rest of at least 2 minutes.
• Never put any objects into the openings on the outer case.

WARNING:
• Never remove parts from the appliance such as screws.
• Never operate the Food Processor when the bowl is empty
and do not remove the bowl lid before the blades come to a
complete stop.
• Do not touch the cutting blades or insert any object, such as
knives, forks, spoons, etc. in to the bowl while the Food
Processor is in operation.
• Do not operate this appliance for anything other than its
intended use.
• This product is intended for household use only. Do not use
outdoors. This product is only intended for preparing food.
• It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to
carry out any service or repair operation which involves the
removal of a cover which gives protection against exposure to
electrical parts.
• Children should not use this appliance. Close supervision is
necessary when any appliance is used near children.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the
appliance.

Preparing your food processor
Before using your food processor
Check the appliance after unpacking for any visual damage or missing parts
such as:
•Misaligned or damaged casing.
•Damage to the plug or cable.
•If any parts are missing or there is any damage, please refer to page 16
for Customer Services.
Clean your food processor
Before using the food processor you should clean the removable jugs and
plastic accessories in warm soapy water, with a soft cloth or sponge. Be
careful when cleaning any blades, dip in soapy water and clean using a long
nylon cleaning brush. At no point should you touch any blade as this could
be harmful.
Do not immerse the base unit in any liquid.
If the unit is unplugged, you can clean the body with a damp soft cloth and
mild detergent.
Allow all parts to thoroughly dry before using.
Choose a suitable place for use
Place the food processor on a flat, stable surface with a plug socket close by.
Do not place in close proximity to any source of heat.
If you apply a small amount of downwards pressure, the feet on the base
should secure to the surface. This helps to prevent the unit from moving
around during use.
Once you have cleaned your food processor and prepared a suitable place
for use, you are now ready to begin preparing your food.

Assembly/Disassembly
Always unplug the food processor before attaching/removing parts
Food processor bowl
Holding the base secure with one hand, use
the other hand to unlock the bowl by rotating
the handle clockwise to the unlock position.
This is indicated by the unlock symbol.
To lock the bowl, place it onto the drive shaft
in the unlock position, secure the base with
one hand, and rotate the handle anticlockwise
to the lock position to secure. This is indicated
by the lock symbol.
Food processor lid
With the food processor bowl locked onto the
base, you can remove the lid by gripping the
feeding chute with one hand and holding the
handle with the other, rotate the lid clockwise
to the unlock position. Again, this is indicated
by the unlock symbol. You can lift and remove.
To secure the lid, place it onto the processor
bowl in the unlock position, secure the bowl
with one hand on the handle, and rotate the
lid anticlockwise to the lock position to secure.
This is indicated by the lock symbol.
Drive shaft
Once you have removed the food processor
bowl, you can remove the drive shaft by lifting
it upwards. To put it back on, simply align the
ribs in the bottom of the drive shaft with the
grooves in the drive cog and lower into place.

Using your food processor
Double sided slicing/grating disc
When the food processor bowl is on the base
and the lid is removed, you can remove the
slicing/grating disc from the top of the drive
shaft by lifting the plastic blade connector.
To reattach the disc, place the blade connector
onto the top of the drive shaft and lower.
Note: The disc can be put on either way
dependent on the function required. Do not
touch the blades, handle using the plastic
connector. Replace the bowl lid.
Mixing blade and chopping blade
Note: The mixing and chopping blades
assemble in the same manner. Do not handle
the blade, handle the narrow end of the
plastic.
When the food processor bowl is on the base
with the drive shaft, and the lid is removed,
you can attach the mixing/chopping blade
onto the plastic of the bowl that surrounds the
drive shaft. Lower the blade onto the plastic,
pushing down gently to secure. Replace the
processor bowl lid.
To remove, pull the narrow plastic end
upwards and detach.
Blender jug
Holding the base secure with one hand, use
the other hand to unlock the jug by rotating
the handle clockwise to the unlock position.
This is indicated by the unlock symbol.

Using your food processor
To lock the jug, place it onto the drive cog in
the unlock position, secure the base with one
hand, and rotate the handle anticlockwise to
the lock position to secure. This is indicated by
the lock symbol.
Blender jug lid
With the blender jug locked onto the base,
you can remove the lid by gripping the
handling grooves with one hand and holding
the handle with the other, rotate the lid
clockwise to the unlock position. Again, this is
indicated by the unlock symbol. You can lift
and remove.
To secure the lid, place it onto the processor
bowl in the unlock position, secure the bowl
with one hand on the handle, and rotate the
lid anticlockwise to the lock position to secure.
This is indicated by the lock symbol.
Blender jug cap
To remove the jug cap, rotate it clockwise and
lift. To place it back on, simply align the ribs on
the sides of the cap with the grooves in the lid
hole and lower into place. Rotate
anticlockwise to secure.

Attachment guide for use
Now that you understand how to put together your food processor and your
ingredients are prepared, you are ready for use.
To use the food processor bowl, attach the drive shaft and bowl according to
instructions on page 7.
Fit the required attachment based on your desired function, using the table
at the top of this page as a guide. Again, the instructions for assembling
food processor attachments can be found on page 8.
Once the accessory is attached, secure the lid according to page 7.
With the food processor bowl attached and
secured, remove the food pusher from the feeding
chute if it is placed in there. With the speed
control dial set to ‘0’, plug the food processor into
a suitable outlet and make sure it switched on.

•1 –Moderate speed
•2 –High speed
•‘P’ – Pulse, can be used for momentary power
to the food processor.
Select your desired speed setting using the speed control dial.
Turn clockwise for 1 or 2, or anticlockwise for momentary pulse control.
Place your prepared food into the feeding chute
and guide in slowly with the food pusher.
Note: It is recommended to read the ‘Tips’ section
in this manual prior to using the appliance.
The maximum time of one operating period is 1 minute on full power. If you
operate for longer than this in one sitting, this could damage the unit and
create a potential hazard. Turn off and allow the unit to cool for at least 2
minutes before continuing use.
When the food has successfully processed, turn
the speed control dial to the ‘0’ position.
Unlock your lid and carefully remove the
accessory.

Using your food processor
Empty the food carefully onto a clean area, such
as a chopping board or a bowl. You can use your
hands or a long plastic/wooden spoon to scoop
out the contents if necessary.
Clean the bowl as per the cleaning and care instructions in this manual.
To use the blender jug, detach the drive shaft and bowl according to
instructions on page 7. Attach the jug as per instructions on page 9.
Once the jug is attached, add your ingredients.
Secure the lid onto the jug a per page 9, along with the blender jug cap.
Select your desired speed setting using the speed
control dial. Turn clockwise for 1 or 2, or
anticlockwise for momentary pulse control.
If you wish to add more ingredients, turn off the
power and open the blending cap. Put your
ingredients carefully in through the lid and re-
secure the blending cap.
The maximum time of one operating period is 1 minute on full power. If you
operate for longer than this in one sitting, this could damage the unit and
create a potential hazard. Turn off and allow the unit to cool for at least 2
minutes before continuing use.

Using your food processor
When the food has successfully processed, turn
the speed control dial to the ‘0’ position.
Clean the jug as per the cleaning and care instructions in this manual.
Pour the liquid carefully into a clean container. If
the liquid is very thick, you can remove the lid and
use a long plastic/wooden spoon to scoop out the
contents if necessary.
Tips
•Cut food such as meat, bread and vegetables into cubes approximately
2cm before processing.
•Biscuits should be broken into pieces and added down the feeding chute
whilst the machine is running.
•When making pastry, use fat straight from the fridge cut into 2cm cubes.
•Take care not to over-process.

make sure to switch the power off at the plug

After using the food processor you should clean the removable food

Do not attempt to wash any appliance parts in the dishwasher as this could
damage them.
Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
If the unit is unplugged, you can clean the body with a damp soft cloth and
mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaner
as they may cause damage to the unit.
Allow all parts to thoroughly dry before reusing.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorised service
representative. Store in a clean, dry place.

This product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of the original
purchase. If any defect arises due to faulty materials or workmanship the
faulty product must be returned to the place of purchase.
Refund or replacement is at the discretion of the retailer.

instructions contained in this instruction guide and any other instructions

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:
The GREEN/YELLOW wire is the EARTH and must be connected to the
terminal which
is marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol or coloured GREEN or
GREEN/YELLOW.
The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to
the terminal marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The BROWN wire is the LIVE wire and must be connected to
the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
Always ensure that the plug cord grip is fastened correctly.
