1. Assembling the slats
Special care needs to be taken when handling the
slats. Shearing can cause irreparable damage to the
caps. This is why they must not be assembled by
threading
1.1 Placing the slats on the water
Fig. 1
1.1.1 Transfer the slats directly from the container to
the pool water avoiding all mechanical contacts.
Prevent the slats from rubbing against the ground.
1.1.2 Place the packets of slats directly onto the water,
curved side towards the sky and the double male
hook on the side opposite the roller. Place the
specic groups of slats (the group ed with straps
to hook to the sha on the roller side, the group
ed with the other an-liing mechanisms on the
side opposite the roller, and the slats for the stairs).
Fig. 1
1.2 Assembling the slats
1.2.1 Clipped slats
Fig. 2
Fig. 2
Fig. 3
Assemble the slats by clipping them together by
inserng the double male hook into the female part
of the preceding slat and then by pushing the slats
up into a "V" shape towards the sky.
Make oscillang movements in order to cause click-
ng along the whole length of the slat.
Fig. 3
1.2.2 Sliding slats
Fig. 4
Fig. 4
Fig. 5
Use the sliding assembly technique by inserng
the male hook into the female part of the previous
slat. To do this, prise the female part open using a
screwdriver and then insert the male part and slide
the slat into posion.
Fig. 5
This assembly method requires having enough
space at the pool side to slide the slats.
1.3 Adjusng the number of slats
Fig. 6
Only keep the slats needed to cover the entire
surface of the water when joined in the pool, any
extra slats should be put away.

1.4 Controlling the t
Fig. 7
Place the cover against a length of the pool. Check
that there is a gap greater than 2.5 cm between the
ends of the wings and the sides of the pool (needed
for operaon) and less than 7 cm (otherwise the
cover is no longer compliant). 10, 20, 25 and 30 mm
wings are available on order.
2,5cm < x < 7cm
Fig. 7
1.5 Installing the stair slats
Fig. 8
Centre the stair cover in its housing and assemble
it to the rest of the cover by making a notch in the
double male hook on either side of the stairs in
order to leave the space for the cap on the base stair
slat.
Fig. 8
1.6 Slat orientaon skid (above water models only)
Fig. 9
So that the slats unroll towards the opposite side
of the pool, place the orientaon ski on the lower
face of the cover between the slat the furthest from
the roller and the next one aer having aened it.
Reshape it to its curved shape in order to raise the
rst slat which drops down into the water in order
to ease the unrolling and prevent the cover from
going backwards.

For IMM'Ax, IMM'Ax Solar Energy, IMM'Box,
VEESIO, IMM'One, BANC Classic and BANC Solar
Energy type covers, only posion the safety systems
on the width opposite the roller.
On the contrary, for MANU, OPEN One, OPEN
Classic, OPEN Solar Energy, OPEN SURF System®,
Banc SURF System® and DIVER covers, posion the
safety systems on both pool widths (i.e. on the roller
side and the side opposite it).

2.1.3 Carry out a clipping and unclipping test on all
mechanisms.
Tighten the straps to press (aen) the slats against
the wall and provide good pool safety.
All of the an-liing devices must be unlocked to
handle the cover and adjust the run stops.
2.2 Fixing with the Coverlock system
Make sure to posion the harpoons and triggers in
relaon to one another to obtain perfect alignment
and correct operaon.
2.2.1 Fig. 13
Posion each harpoon before ① on the male part
of the last cover slat using the two TFPZ 3 x 16 mm
screws.
Once all the required harpoons have been installed,
cut the remaining male part of the slat using a cuer
and a hack saw. This will protect the liner from any
damage.

2.2.2 Fig 14: Fixing the triggers in the wall
Mark the holes by placing part ② in the centre of
the harpoon. Drill to a diameter of 6 mm and depth
of 35 mm.
Fix part ② using the TRHC M 5 x 30 mm screws and
M5 brass plugs. Make sure that this is horizontally
level.
Fix the face on part ② using the TRPZ 4 x 16 mm
screws.

5 x 16 mm screws and the M5 nuts.
Then, assemble support ③ on levelling course plate
④ using the TFHC M 5 x 16 mm screws forming a
bracket.
Centre the whole on the harpoon, then correctly
aen the support and the edge plate against the
pool wall and edge.
Mark out the holes and drill to a diameter of 8 mm
and depth of 35 mm.
Finally, x using the TFHC M 6 x 30 mm screws and

2.3 Fixing using the Feex'o fastening system
The number and posion of the xtures has been
defined in the factory depending on your pool
specicies.
2.3.1 Fig. 22
The cover end slats are ed with openings that can
be clipped into the Feex'o fastening systems.

part of the last slat.
Fig. 20
Fig. 21
In the case of trapeze or roman stairs, a strap is
provided instead of the harpoon in the sloped or
rounded areas.
Therefore you need to:
Unclick the two slats in the place provided, make a
two cenmetre wide notch on the male part, pass
the strap through this notch taking care to leave a
washer under the slat, and clip the two slats. The
strap is blocked between the slats via these two end
washers.
The upper one is used for fastening in the Coverlock.

2.3.3 Fig. 24
Identify the hole positions by positioning the
fastening system opposite the openings in the slat.
Drill diameter 10 holes. Fix the part using the
supplied screws and then ret the cover.
Check that the fastenings are in working order.
Fig. 24
2.4 Selfeex fastening system
The Selfeex system is composed of a "lock" part
built into the rst cover slat and a "wall hook" part
xed to the pool wall.
The principle: when the cover approaches the pool
wall it pushes the lock which harpoons the wall
hook and thereby locks the pool.
Unlocking is by automac lock release when the
cover is rolled.
2.4.1 Fig. 25
When the crate is opened, set aside the 3 rst slats
ed with the Selfeex units and the 2 slats that have
pre-cut notches.

2.4.7 Fig. 31
Open the pool cover a few cenmetres, then drill
the pool wall to diameter 6 to a depth of 50 mm.
Cauon: for the wall hook drilling part, it is beer
to lower the water level slightly and then raise it
back again.
Fig. 31
2.4.8 Fig. 32
Posion the TRHC M5 x 30 screws, washers and
anchors on the wall hooks.
Screw the screws into the anchors unl they widen
slightly.
Make sure they are level and horizontal.
Fig. 32
2.4.5 Fig. 29
In the closed posion, check that the wing brush is
not too far from the wall or too compressed ± 5 mm
on either side compared to the pool wall.
± 5 mm
Fig. 29
If the gap is too wide, the slats could dri to one side
and the lock may not harpoon the wall hook.
If the brush is too compressed, the thrust and
harpooning force will be diminished. In that case,
cut the brush hairs using scissors in order to remove
the gap and have the hairs barely touching the wall.
2.4.6 Fig. 30
When the cover is closed and in contact with the
wall, place the wall hooks on the locks.
Make sure to position the wall hooks properly
opposite each lock to obtain perfect alignment and
proper operaon.
Mark the hole locaons on the wall using a pencil.

Fig. 40
Slide the black strap xtures onto the sha opposite
the xture straps which are on the slats and then
x the straps between the black 30 x 80 xtures by
ghtening the screws. Check that the gaps around
the cover in the pool are evenly spaced on either
side as soon as the rolling starts.
Correct the position of the strap fixtures if the
spacing is not even.
