AUSTRALIA PRODUCT WARRANTY
DEFECTS
Congratulations on your purc ase of an ABSCO SHED
ABSCO SHEDS, including garden s eds, garden beds, aviaries, storage units, garages,
awnings and carports are made using ig quality Australian made steel.
We are pleased to advise we warrant t at t e steel coating will not rust, crack, flake peel or
blister for 20 years from date of purc ase, w en installed wit in Australia.
T is warranty does not apply to surface deterioration of panels caused by ‘Swarf” (Tiny
particles of steel debris left from cutting, grinding or drilling operations) t at as not been
removed after building construction, or as a result of contact wit damp soil, c emicals,
fertilisers or ot er corrosive substances.
T is warranty covers any Absco product used for normal domestic use and installed in
accordance wit t e installation instructions. T e warranty does NOT cover Damage caused
by storms, wind, rain snow or poor foundations.
T is warranty does NOT cover ABSCO products installed in severe coastal, industrial or ot er
ig ly corrosive environments. T e warranty does not cover fasteners (screws, nuts, bolts,
rivets, asps or bolts).
T e warranty is limited to replacement and delivery of components and does not include any
labour or installation costs. T e benefits given by t e warranty are in addition to your ot er
rig ts and remedies under a law in relation to t e goods or services to w ic t e warranty
relates.
T e warranty applies to t e exclusion of all ot er representations, guarantees or warranties
express or implied, our goods come wit guarantees t at cannot be excluded under t e
Australian consumer law and is not transferable. You are entitled to a replacement or refund
for a major failure and for compensation for any ot er foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to ave t e goods repaired or replaced if t e goods fail to be of an acceptable
quality and t e failure does not amount to a major failure. For furt er information go to

In t e unlikely event a warranty claim is made, it must be supported by p otograp ic evidence
and details of t e defect, including component part numbers, toget er wit proof of purc ase
documentation (or on-line registration of purc ase) and forwarded to t e address below.
Upon receipt of t e warranty claim, t e Customer Service Manager will contact you wit in
t ree business days to advise you of t e assessment outcome of t e claim, w ic may include
your expenses incurred in making t e claim.
