ACT1030 Proximity reader is
shown above. Readers should
be a maximum of 30m from the
controller when powered from +5V
and a maximum of 100m when
powered from +12V.

1. Connect the ACT1030 Proximity reader to the  
controller with the aid of the wiring diagram  
 supplied
2. Remove the plastic caps from the ACT1030 and  
 position the reader in the mounting location.
3. Place the ACT1030 VRC over the ACT1030 reader 
 and using the self-tapping security screws and  
 security driver bit supplied, fix the cover and reader 
 in place.
