shown above. Readers should
be a maximum of 30m from the
controller when powered from +5V
and a maximum of 100m when
powered from +12V.

1. Connect the ACT1030 Proximity reader to the
controller with the aid of the wiring diagram
supplied
2. Remove the plastic caps from the ACT1030 and
position the reader in the mounting location.
3. Place the ACT1030 VRC over the ACT1030 reader
and using the self-tapping security screws and
security driver bit supplied, fix the cover and reader
in place.
