Part one: Access the Camera
1. Open IP Utility on the desktop.
2. Find the Q51 camera you would like to install.
3. Open IE browser. (Please be sure to use IE browser.)
4. Enter the IP address of Q51 to connect by using IE browser.
5. Enter the account / password (admin/123456) and login to the web
configurator of Q51.

6. Click on the camera icon to take a snapshot of the camera view,
name the picture file as “eMap”and save it on the desktop.
Note: This step will be used in Part two “(Step 5) –Heat Map, Increase eMap
settings”.
7. Click on the tool icon to enter the settings page of Q51.

8. Adjust the camera to the correct time according to the figure below.
8.1 Click “Date & Time”
8.2. Click “Set Manually” and then adjust the time
8.3 Click “Apply” to save.
9. Please set the network parameters according to the following figure.
9.1. Click “IP Setting”
9.2. Click “Connection Type”
9.3. Click “Static IP Address”
9.4. Configure the related IP parameters
9.5. Click “Apply” to save the settings.

10. Please set the parameters according to the following figure.
10.1. Click “Video”
10.2. Click “Intelligent Video”
10.3. Click “Reporting Server”
10.4. Configure the related server parameters (Please follow the example
shown below)
- Server 1 :Please tick
- NetworkAddress: Please enter the IP address set by the installed
Server (MGB Server)
- Network Port: Please enter “8082”
- Account: Please enter “admin”
- Password: Please enter “123456”
10.5. Click “Apply” to save the settings.

11. Please set the Location parameters according to the following figure.
11.1. Click “Location”
11.2. IVS Server Name: Please fill in the store name, Ex: ACTi)
Note: This will be used in Part two (Settings of adding device). Write
down the name you have set on a piece of paper.)
11.3. Store: Please fill in the installation position of the Camera, Ex: Gate)
Note: This will be used in Part two (Settings of adding device). Write
down the name you have set on a piece of paper.)
11.4. Click “Apply” to save the settings.

12. Please set the HeatMap parameters according to the following figure.
12.1 Click “Intelligent video”
12.2 Click “Heatmap” on the setting page
12.3 After entering the setting page, click “Setup” to start
12.4 Draw the analysis range as shown in the following figure, you can draw
polygons to avoid the range that does not need to be detected, please try to
avoid the light or screen.

12.5 Click “Setup”, then click “Get” to confirm the screenshot of the live
environment.
12.6 Refer to the illustration and the following text to set
1. Check “Enabled”
2. Active on -> Tick all
3. Start Time: 00:00
4. End Time: 24:00
5. Reporting Server: All
12.7 Click “Apply” to save the settings.
