Actiontec’s new 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card gives you
blazing high-speed wireless network access and turns
your home or office into a high-performance, high-
speed wireless network. Laptops become truly mobile with
blazing Ethernet-like speeds. Use this card instead of an
expensive-to-install wired networking system or use as an
extension to your existing network.
The Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card allows you to share
Internet access, large data files, video files, MP3 files, printers
andmore.Itiscompatiblewith anylaptopcomputercontaining
a Type II 32-bit Cardbus port. The PC Card is backward
compatible with anyWi-Fi (802.11b) device.
The Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card uses state-of-the-art
technology to provide wired Ethernet speeds wirelessly at a
data rate never before seen in wireless networks. Everything
on your network can be accessed five times faster than with
older wireless technologies.
This PC Card operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency. Its typical
range reaches up to 300 feet indoors and 1,750 feet outdoors.
The strong security that is built in to the Actiontec 54 Mbps
Wireless PC Card protects your data from eavesdroppers by
using 64- and 128-bit WEP encryption.
Actiontec’s 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card is compatible with any
laptop computer with a Type II 32-bit Cardbus port. So you
