CSafe RKN Easy Setup Instructions
To initiate a shipment, follow the easy instructions below.
Step 1. Turning On the Unit
Turn on the container via the power switch
located on the control panel and wait for a
few seconds as the system boots up. Check
for battery status and container status. The
unit should be charged to >90% and in idle
mode.
Step 2. Shipment Set-Up
To initiate a shipment place the unit into
shipment mode as follows: From the MAIN
menu screen, scroll down and select option 8
–“SUPERVISOR MENU” and then press the
[enter] key.
Step 3. Supervisor’s Password
When prompted, enter the supervisor’s
password “54321” and then press the [enter]
key. Press the [enter] key again to continue.

Step 4. Initiate Shipment
From the SUPERVISOR menu screen, select
option 1 –“INITIATE SHIPMENT” by
pressing the [enter] key.
Step 5. Shipment Information Input
Enter the shipment information using the
keypad and entering the data as prompted:
1. Waybill number (24 character limit)
2. Set-point temperature
3. New password (recommend using waybill
number)
4. Verify password
Press the [enter] key to advance to the next
data input field.
Step 6. Completion
RKN will then go into Shipment Mode and show
all of the shipment parameters entered from the
previous screen

Power ON
Set-point temperature verified
Battery status at or near 100%
Container in Shipment Mode
