•When using the pa et truck, p ease keep the hand e in the DRIVE position.
•This pa et truck must be operated by trained personne on y.
•Check the pa et truck first before using it making sure that the whee s, hand es and forks
are fitted correct y and secure

3.0 INSTALLATION
P ease fo ow the insta ation instructions to ensure correct operation of your
PTS. In transportation the hand e is removed from the truck, this needs to be
insta ed fo owing the instructions be ow:
NOTE: Do not lower the handle down fully until completing the instructions
below.
1) Insert the ro er pin into the ho e of ro er rack, securing the hand e to the
frame.
2) Fit the sp it pin through the ho es provided.
3) Pass the chain through the center ho e of the ro er pin. Secure the end of
the chain to the s ot on the end of the un oading p ate.
4) Remove the transit rod before use. Press the hand e down on y far enough to
re ease any pressure on the transit rod, then pu the transit rod free.

The Indicator bracket is fitted to the PTS using 4 x M4 screws as the picture
be ow shows, these shou d be tightened using the A en Key supp ied .
The Indicator cab e goes through the ho e on the bracket and connects to the
Indicator using the 7 pin connector.

The AE 402 indicator is p aced into the mounting bracket, and secured using
the two p astic fasteners as shown be ow:

4.0 CALIBRATION
The PTS is factory ca ibrated, p ease refer to the user manua for the indicator
supp ied (AE 402) when further ca ibration when required.

6.0 MAINTENANCE
•P ease check the oi every six months , we suggest you use hydrau ic oi : ISO
VG32
•Whi st in transit air may enter into the hydrau ic pump, this may resu t in the
forks not raising when first used. P ease move the hand e up and down
severa times to a ow air to escape.
•Routine maintenance is necessary. You shou d focus on the whee s and
hand e assemb ies. When the truck is not in use, remove the items on the
forks, and reset the forks to their owest position.
•A the bearings and ax es have been ubricated, p ease check at regu ar
interva s

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Adam Equipment offers Limited Warranty (Parts and Labour) for the components fai ed due to
defects in materia s or workmanship. Warranty starts from the date of de ivery.
During the warranty period, shou d any repairs be necessary, the purchaser must inform its
supp ier or Adam Equipment Company. The company or its authorised Technician reserves the
right to repair or rep ace the components at any of its workshops depending on the severity of
the prob ems. However, any freight invo ved in sending the fau ty units or parts to the service
centre shou d be borne by the purchaser.
The warranty wi cease to operate if the equipment is not returned in the origina packaging and
with correct documentation for a c aim to be processed. A c aims are at the so e discretion of
Adam Equipment.
This warranty does not cover equipment where defects or poor performance is due to misuse,
accidenta damage, exposure to radioactive or corrosive materia s, neg igence, fau ty
insta ation, unauthorised modifications or attempted repair or fai ure to observe the
requirements and recommendations as given in this User Manua . Additiona y rechargeab e
batteries (where supp ied) are not covered under warranty.
Repairs carried out under the warranty does not extend the warranty period. Components
removed during the warranty repairs become the company property.
The statutory right of the purchaser is not affected by this warranty. The terms of this warranty
