ThisAdvanced DigitalControls Ultra-8 version alarmcontrolpanelhasbeen designed to
provide the most requested featuresforboththe installer&the end-user.Thesefeatures
includeeaseofinstallation,ease ofprogrammingand userfriendly operationall ina package
thatisreliable,functionaland attractive.
Utilising manyyears ofexperienceinthe security industryand implementing valuablefeedback,
weareproud toprovide you withanewgeneration ofalarmcontroller.The Ultra-8 is a New
Zealand designed and builtproductthatbringsyou the quality and features, whichyou deserve
atan affordableprice.Inaddition tothe advanced design,onlythe highestqualitycomponents
havebeen used inthe production ofthis Ultra-8 paneltoensurethe highestdegreeof
reliability.
Thismanualwillguideyou throughthe operation and programmingofyour Ultra-8 alarm

Ifthe reason forthealarmis notcleared,e.g. Tamperremainsopen,the FAULT indicator
will remainonsolid until thecause isfound and clearedfully.

The Ultra-8 can acceptasmanyas10differentusercodesof1up to6digitsin length.
Yourinstallercan setyou up toenteryourcode atusercode 1(Mastercode,Defaultto
2580)You will nowbe abletoadd,deleteorchange codesforotherusers.
Bydefaultonly themastercodehaspermissionto changeadd orremovecodes. Anynew
codesadded will beable to arm,disarmand puteitherarea ofthe panelintomonitor
mode.Usercodescan be limited in theirlevelsofpermission ifrequired.Pleaseaskyour
installer.

Thiseventmemoryisdisplayed viathe keypad withthe mostrecenteventshownfirst
andsubsequenteventsfollowingindescendingorderfromnewesttooldest.Eachevent
isseparated byabeep tone.
Thereareanumberofeventswhicharestored inmemorywhichdo nothaveaspecific
indicatorassociated with themsuch asPanic and Duress.
Othereventssuchas tampersand lowbatteryareshared acrossmanydevices. Forthis
reasonthe followingtablehasbeen created.
This table details whichindicatorlightscorrespond to whicheventsinmemory.
Toview EVENTMEMORYPLAYBACK MODE press MENU +1
The last 127 events willbe played backonthe keypadLEDsdisplayed sequentiallyat2
second intervals fromthe mostrecenteventbackwards.
Togettoaspecificeventrapidly press the êê keyrepeatedly and the memory display will
be spedup accordingly
