The Basics Das Prinzip
aeroSling®suspension training is all about using your
own bodyweight as resistance, which is known to be
one of the most eff ective and natural form of physical
activity. With its high variability the aeroSling®ELITE can
be adjusted exactly to the user‘s needs. The important
adjustment factors are:
§the adjustable angle towards the anchor point
§the adjustable instability for exercises that don‘t
require free movement of the main rope
§the adjustable pendulum force that gets dispro-
portionately stronger the further the holding
point moves away from the anchor point
§the adjustable handles for hand, foot, and
arm suspension
From beginners to professional athletes – with the
aeroSling® suspension trainers almost everyone can
train for increased strength, muscular coordination, and
strength endurance.
Every basic exercise can be varied depending on the
user’s individual fi tness level. This means that there is
often a standard, a regression, and a progression for the
same exercise.
aeroSling®Sling Training setzt auf das Training mit dem
eigenen Körpergewicht. Es gilt als eine der eff ektivsten
und natürlichsten Formen des Körpertrainings. Durch
die hohe Variabilität des aeroSling®ELITE lässt sich das
Training sehr gut auf den einzelnen Anwender abstim-
men. Faktoren, die das Training steuern, sind:
§der einstellbare Winkel zum Aufhängungspunkt
§die einstellbare Instabilität am Hauptseil (bei
Übungen, die keinen Freilauf des Seils erfordern)
§die Pendelkraft, die überproportional stärker
wird, je weiter der Aufhängungspunkt vom
Ankerpunkt entfernt ist
§die einstellbaren Griff e für Hand-, Fuß- und
Armmodus
Sowohl Anfänger als auch Profi s können mit aeroSling®
Schlingentrainern Kraft, Kraftausdauer und Muskelkoor-
dination trainieren.
Jede Basisübung kann, je nach Leistungsstand, in ver-
schiedenen Variationen ausgeführt werden. Oft gibt es
Möglichkeiten eine Übung leichter oder auch schwerer
zu gestalten.

aeroSling® XPE / ELITE / ELITE Plus are powerful and physically demanding devices for home fi tness training. In order to avoid
injuries or accidents, please pay special attention to our instructions on safety and correct construction of the device. This
device should only be used for bodyweight training and should not be used for any other purposes. Please note that using the
device for other purposes or with too great an intensity can lead to injury and/or health problems. Parents and supervisors must
pay special attention to the fact that a child’s natural instinct for play and experimentation can lead to incorrect and dangerous
use of the device. If you allow children to use the device please have their physical maturity and temperament in mind. You must
supervise and specifi cally instruct them on how to use the device correctly. The device is not meant to be a toy. Unsupervised
children are to be kept away from the device. All parts are made for a maximum bodyweight of 200 kg (440 lbs).
Before using the device: Please consult your doctor, therapist, or trainer before using the device for the fi rst time! Your
specialist can correctly assess your abilities and readiness for exercise and can also suggest specialized training that fi ts your
individual needs. Start slowly when fi rst using the device and don‘t overburden yourself. When starting out we recommend a
selection of uncomplicated exercises that have low resistance. In addition, we recommend the presence of a partner who is
able to support you.
Before each training session:
§Check for correct assembly of the device. Are all carabiners closed correctly and all connections closed?
§Check the connection to the holding structure. Is it sturdy enough and is the device attached fi rmly and reliably?
§Check the grip knots for 100% hold and for any damages. It is essential that the knots are tied correctly and wrapped
tightly on the main rope. Should you have opened or damaged the knot please contact us for instructions and service.
The grip knot should always look like in the picture on the back page of this manual.
§Grip knot and main rope should not be dirty, overheated, iced, oiled, blocked, or in any other way aff ected by external
factors.
§Check the condition of the main rope. It should not be frayed, fl at or cracked! This also holds true for all other parts on
the device. Damaged parts should be replaced immediately to guarantee your safety and to ensure correct functioning of
the device.
§Check the main rope knots on both ends of the main rope. These knots help to prevent the grip knots from slipping off the
main rope and should always be intact.
§Let worn off or damaged parts be serviced immediately by aerobis with aeroSling® genuine parts!
Training: Please note that aeroSling® suspension training is based on the concept of instability. The main rope and the grip
handles do not off er any support on their own. The device can only be used by balancing the pressure on both grip handles. As
a result, if you are unable to maintain a stable position during a workout the device will not off er any support. Keep this in mind
and always be prepared and aware of this when exercising. Please make sure that the grip knot and its function is not compro-
mised by parts of your clothing or other objects. Perform a pulling test using the full exercise weight before each exercise. This
will make sure that the grip knot is working correctly and it will, at the same time pre-tighten the grip knot. The grip knots should
never slip off on the main rope! However, be aware that some lengthening of the material under high load is normal. Please note
that the main rope and rope knots swing freely during a workout.
Device setup: Only use the device on stable and sturdy structures that are able to take a tensile load of a minimum of 300 kg
(661 lbs) at the anchor point of the device. Please note that the structure does not only have to support you but – depending
on the exercise - more than your own bodyweight. Ensure that you always have enough room (3 m/10‘ in every direction) and a
secure surface for your workout. If you want to use a door as anchor point, please read the section „Suspension with the
door anchor“ on page 2 carefully.
aeroSling® XPE / ELITE / ELITE Plus sind anspruchsvolle und leistungsfähige Geräte für körperliches Fitnesstraining im Heim-
bereich. Bitte beachte unsere Hinweise zu Sicherheit und Aufbau des Geräts, um Verletzungen und Unfälle zu vermeiden.
Dieses Gerät ist nur für das Fitnesstraining mit dem eigenen Körpergewicht ausgelegt und darf nicht für andere Einsatzzwecke
genutzt werden. Beachte, dass unsachgemäßes oder übermäßiges Training zu Gesundheitsschäden führen kann. Eltern und
andere Aufsichtspersonen sollten sich ihrer Verantwortung bewusst sein, da aufgrund des natürlichen Spieltriebs und der
Experimentierfreudigkeit der Kinder mit Situationen und Verhaltensweisen zu rechnen ist, für die das Gerät nicht gebaut ist.
Wenn du Kinder an die Geräte lässt, solltest du deren geistige und körperliche Entwicklung und vor allem deren Temperament
berücksichtigen. Du solltest die Kinder gegebenenfalls beaufsichtigen und sie vor allem auf die richtige Benutzung des Gerätes
hinweisen. Als Spielzeug ist das Gerät auf keinen Fall geeignet. Unbeaufsichtigte Kinder sind vom Gerät fernzuhalten. Alle Teile
sind für eine Belastung bis 200 kg Körpergewicht ausgelegt.
Vor dem ersten Training: Bitte sprich mit deinem Arzt, Therapeuten oder Trainer, bevor du zum ersten Mal mit dem Gerät
trainierst! Er kann dich entsprechend beraten und dir ein individuelles Training erstellen. Gewöhne dich langsam an das Training
mit dem Gerät und überfordere dich nicht. Dazu solltest du am Anfang vor allem unkomplizierte Übungen mit wenig Widerstand
bevorzugen und ggf. mit einem Partner trainieren, der dich unterstützt.
Vor jedem Training:
§Überprüfe unbedingt den ordnungsgemäßen Aufbau des Gerätes. Sind alle Karabiner geschlossen und ist jede
Verbindung korrekt geschlossen?
§Überprüfe die Verbindung zum haltenden Objekt. Ist das Objekt ausreichend stabil und das Gerät daran fest und
zuverlässig fi xiert?
§Prüfe die Griff knoten auf 100%igen Halt und eventuelle Beschädigungen. Es ist essentiell wichtig, dass die Knoten
korrekt anliegen und geknüpft sind. Solltest du einen Griff knoten geöff net oder beschädigt haben, kontaktiere uns ,
um Unterstützung und Service zu erhalten. Der Griff knoten sollte immer so aussehen, wie auf dem Bild auf der
Rückseite dieser Anleitung gezeigt.
§Weder Griff knoten noch Hauptseil dürfen verschmutzt, vereist, verölt, durchnässt, blockiert oder durch andere äußere
Einwirkungen in Ihrer Funktion beinträchtigt sein.
§Überprüfe den Zustand des Hauptseils. Es darf nicht ausgefranst, platt oder gerissen sein! Dies gilt für alle weiteren
Bauteile ebenfalls. Beschädigte Bauteile müssen ausgetauscht werden, da ansonsten Ihre Sicherheit nicht gewährleistet
werden kann und eine korrekte Funktion nicht gegeben ist.
§Überprüfe die Halteknoten am Ende des Hauptseils. Diese Knoten verhindern ein Abrutschen des Griff knotens vom
Seil und müssen immer vorhanden sein.
§Lasse verschlissene oder beschädigte Teile frühzeitig von aerobis gegen aeroSling® Originalteile austauschen!
Training: Bitte beachte, dass das aeroSling® Sling Training auf das Konzept der Instabilität setzt. Das bedeutet, dass das
Hauptseil und damit auch die Griff e, frei gelagert sind und keinen stabilen Halt gewährleisten. Nur durch den Ausgleich der
auf die Griff e wirkenden Kräfte bleibt das Gerät bedienbar. Solltest du beim Training also abrutschen oder eine Position nicht
mehr halten können, bieten die Griff e keinen sicheren Halt. Denke beim Training immer daran und bereite dich entsprechend
darauf vor. Achte darauf, dass der Griff knoten bzw. seine Funktion nicht durch Teile deiner Kleidung oder andere Gegenstände
beeinträchtigt wird. Mache vor jeder Übung einen Zugtest. So überprüfst du, ob der Griff knoten ordnungsgemäß arbeitet und
gibst gleichzeitig eine Vorspannung. Die Griff knoten dürfen dabei nie am Hauptseil durchrutschen! Eine gewisse Dehnung des
Materials unter hoher Last ist jedoch normal. Beachte, dass Hauptseil und Griff knoten während des Trainings frei schwingen.
Aufbau des Gerätes: Verwende das Gerät nur an stabilen und ausreichend starren Objekten, die für eine Zugbelastung von
mindestens 300 kg am Befestigungspunkt des aeroSling® ELITE ausgelegt sind. Bedenke dabei: Das Objekt muss nicht nur
dich, sondern, je nach Übung, auch mehr als dein Körpergewicht halten können. Sorge dafür, dass du ausreichend Platz (mind.
3 m um den Trainierenden) und einen sicheren Untergrund für dein Training hast. Wenn du eine Tür als Ankerpunkt nutzen
möchtest, lies bitte zunächst den Abschnitt „Aufhängung mittels Türanker“ aufmerksam durch.

Suspension with anchor sling Aufhängung mittels Ankerschlinge
Wrap the anchor sling around the holding structure at least
twice! The long end loop is always the main holding point for
the anchor carabiner. Connect the anchor sling carabiner with
another loop of the anchor sling like shown here.
This way the anchor sling fi xates itself while under load.
If the holding structure doesn‘t allow at least two wraps (e.g.
a tree), fi xate the anchor sling as shown on the picture in the
middle/right. Pull the long end loop through the short end loop.
This suspension will fi xate itself by the load on the anchor sling.
Wickele die Ankerschlinge mindestens zwei volle Wicklungen
um das haltende Objekt! Die lange Endschlaufe der Anker-
schlinge ist dabei immer der Haupthaltepunkt für den Anker-
karabiner. Verbinde die Ankerschlinge dann mit einer weiteren
Schlaufe am Ankerkarabiner wie gezeigt. So erreichst du einen
Ankerpunkt, der sich selbst fi xiert solange er unter Last ist.
Sollte das haltende Objekt nicht mind. zwei volle Wicklungen
erlauben (z.B. ein Baum), so fi xiere die Ankerschlinge wie auf
der Abbildung links gezeigt. Führe dazu die lange Endschlaufe
durch die kurze Endschlaufe. Durch den Zug fi xiert sich diese
Aufhängung von selbst.
Suspension with door anchor Aufhängung mittels Türanker
aeroSling®suspension trainers come with a pre-assembled
door anchor. If not needed, it can easily be removed.
Open the door and position the anchor sling in opening directi-
on on the upper end of a stable door.
Important notes:
§Always work out against the opening direction of the
door
§Position the door anchor close to the door stop
§Use the warning door-hanger
§Lock the door against an accidental opening from the
other side
§Start with a load test
aeroSling® Schlingentrainer werden mit vormontiertem Türan-
ker geliefert. Wenn nicht benötigt, läss er sich einfach entfer-
nen. Öff ne die Tür und lege die Ankerschlinge in Öff nungsrich-
tung über eine ausreichend stabile Tür.
Wichtige Hinweise:
§Trainiere immer nur gegen die Öff nungsrichtung der Tür
§Positioniere den Türanker nahe zum Türanschlag
§Nutze den Warnhinweis-Türhänger
§Sperre die Tür gegen ein unbeabsichtigtes Öff nen von
der anderen Seite ab
§Mache zunächst einen Zugtest

Adjustment of the grip height
The position of the grip handles on the main rope can be ad-
justed with the grip knots. In order to move the grip knot along
the main rope you need to fi rst loosen the knot by a short pull
of the little blue fl ag.
To move the knot up push it from the bottom while holding the
main rope with your other hand somewhere below the knot.
To move the knot down push it from the top while holding the
main rope with your other hand somewhere above the knot.

Single handle mode (only for ELITE / ELITE Plus)
For one-handed exercises simply connect the two grip cara-
biners. Before connecting the carabiners make sure to apply
pressure on both grip handles so that both grip knots are tight
and fully functional.
Integrated foot loop (only for ELITE / ELITE Plus)
The integrated foot loop allows for a comfortable training in
foot suspension mode. Additionally, you can use the loop as
support for your regular grip by putting them on top of the
back of your hand.
Foot suspension mode
For training in foot suspension mode there are two possibilities:
facing towards the device or facing away from the device.
For training in foot suspension mode facing towards the
device, simply push the grip handles to the outside of the grip
slings and suspend your heels (aeroSling® XPE). When using
the ELITE or ELITE Plus, you use the integrated foot loops.
To release your feet from the grip slings you fi rst need to lower
the pressure of your heels on the grip slings. This can be done
by either sitting or lying down and gently lifting your heels from
the grip sling.
For training in foot suspension mode facing away from the
device, sit down facing towards the device. With the XPE sim-
ply push the grip handles to the inside of the grip slings. Next,
suspend your feet (toes fi rst) mid-foot in both grip slings (foot
loop of the ELITE / ELITE Plus). With your feet suspended, turn
around on your longitudinal axis (so that the front of your body
faces the fl oor).
Blocking the instability of the pulley / UltraPulley
The instability of aeroSling®suspension trainers will make
almost every exercise more intense than static suspension
trainer devices. If you want to disable this instability, twist the
two main ropes at least 4 times. That way the friction will avoid
the rope alternation. Alternatively you can block the main ropes
by using an additional carabiner (available as accessory).

entlang des Hauptseils zu verschieben, musst du den Knoten
mittels Anlupfen des blauen Fähnchens lockern.
Um den Knoten nach oben zu verschieben, drücke von unten
gegen den Knoten, während du mit der anderen Hand unter-
halb des Knotens das Hauptseil festhältst. Um den Knoten
nach unten zu verschieben, drücke von oben gegen den Kno-
ten, während du mit der anderen Hand oberhalb des Knotens
das Hauptseil festhältst.

Einzelgriff modus (nur für ELITE / ELITE Plus)
Für das Training mit nur einer Hand verbinde die beiden Griff -
karabiner zum Einzelgriff modus. Gib zuvor Vorspannung auf
beide Griff knoten, indem du fest an den beiden Griff en ziehst.
Integrierte Fußschlaufe (nur für ELITE / ELITE Plus)
Die integrierte Fußschlaufe ermöglicht dir ein komfortables
Training im Fußmodus. Zugleich kannst du die Schlaufe als
Unterstützung deines normalen Griff s verwenden, indem du sie
über deinen Handrücken legst.
Fußmodus
Für das Training im Fußmodus gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten – mit
dem Blick zum Gerät und dem Blick weg vom Gerät.
Für das Training mit Blick zum Gerät ziehst du vorher die
Griff e zur Außenseite der jeweiligen Griff schlinge und legst die
Fersen auf je eine Griff schlinge (aeroSling® XPE). Beim
aeroSling® ELITE und ELITE Plus verwendest du die integrier-
ten Fußschlaufen. Um deinen Fuß aus einer Griff schlinge zu
ziehen, verringerst du zuerst den Druck auf die Griff schlinge -
zum Beispiel indem du dich hinsetzt oder hinlegst - und hebst
den eingehängten Fuß aus der Griff schlinge.
Für das Training mit Blick weg vom Gerät startest du auf
dem Boden sitzend mit Blick zum Gerät. Beim XPE verschiebst
du beide Griff e auf die Innenseite der jeweiligen Griff schlinge,
so dass die Griff e sich an der Griff fl äche berühren können.
Lege deine Füße, Zehen zuerst, bis zum Spann in je eine
Griff schlinge (bzw. Fußschlaufe beim ELITE / ELITE Plus). Dann
drehe dich, mit den Füßen in den Schlaufen, auf der Körper-
achse in Blickrichtung weg vom Gerät.
Blockierung der Instabilität von Umlenkrolle / UltraPulley
Die Instabilität bei aeroSling®Schlingentrainern macht nahezu
jede Übung intensiver als bei statischen Schlingentrainern.
Wenn du diese Instabilität ausschalten möchtest, verdrille die
beiden Hauptseile mind. 4x miteinander. So verhindert die
Reibung eine Umlenkung. Alternativ kannst du durch einen
zusätzlichen Karabiner die Hauptseile verknoten (Zubehör).
