1.1 Thank you for buying “Happy Bear” produced by Huaqi. Please read the manual carefully before using
“Happy Bear”. When you start using “Happy Bear”, Huaqi considers that you have read and known well the
instruction.

Direction for use
1. Power on: Press the switch button on the left hand for 2 seconds. “Happy Bear” plays the welcoming
address.
2. Read: As audible card touch the nose of “Happy Bear”, “Happy Bear” will read the relative content of
the card. Strongly suggest that the distance between nose and card maintain no more than 2 millimeters
at an of inclination of 45°. To avoid duplicated identification, the card can be taken away when the
sound starts to play.
3. Repeat: Every time the card touch the nose, the same content can be read again
4. Language function: Press language button on the right hand for 1 second, and the content will be read
in English.
5. Music function: Press language button on the right hand for 3 seconds, and the music will be played.
6. Automatically power off: If no operation over 5minutes, “Happy Bear” starts prompting; if no
operation within 5 minutes since prompt, “Happy Bear” powers off.
7. Switch off: Under working condition, press the switch button for 2 seconds, and then the light of eyes
extinguish. “Happy Bear” powers off.
8. Electric power: Two AA batteries. Recommend using alkaline batteries to extend the time of usage.
Attention:
1. Keep the “Happy Bear” away from the easy-fire place.
2. Avoid toy annex from being swallowed by children
3. Please preserve the package carefully.
4. Avoid placing "Happy Bear" and the storage card at damp place.
5. Avoid placing “Happy Bear” at the place where it is directly shined
6. Avoid placing “Happy Bear” from high temperature and humidity.
7. Avoid placing “Happy Bear” at dusty place.
Troubleshooting:

Huaqi pledged that:
The time limit of our service is effective from the date of purchase that refers to the date recorded on the purchase
invoice. We will provide service by reference to the formal purchase invoice and effective warranty for service
guarantees with the complete information and the seal of Huaqi or the dealers.
Three months free service guarantee: Within the terms of service guarantees and under the conditions of normal
operation and maintenance, any failure caused by parts and components of the purchased product can be repaired
without any charge after the examination by Huaqi’s technicians.
If the period of service is subject to change without notice, the description of the service guarantees and user
manual may be used to interpret the claims.
The followings are exclusive in the service scope of service:
1. Exceed the time limit of service guarantees and free repair term.
2. Any alternation on the warranty or uniformity between the sequence No. recorded on the warranty and the
product itself.
3. No formal purchase invoice and effective service guarantees warranty (expect those proved to be in the
service term by reference to the sequence number of product)
4. Any damage caused by operation, maintains, preservation due to keeping out of accordance with manual.
5. Damage caused by artificial factor
6. Damage caused by force majeure
7. Any repair, alternation, refitting, or disassembling by the personnel’s who are not authorized by Huaqi.
Huaqi is not liable for the special, unexpected or indirect loss of users or dealers.
Other attentions:
1. Huaqi provides delivery service rather than visiting service for all products and does not bore the
transportation expenses occurred in the process of delivery repair.
2. The failure date refers to the date that the product is sent to Huaqi customer service center.
3. The downloading services provided by Huaqi customer service center exclude, but not limited to audio,
video,software,firmware; Huaqi customer service center will not provide any other downloading service
without Huaqi formal commitments
4. When you deliver the faulty product, kindly be sure to leave your telephone number so that we can contact
you timely after repair. Please come and take the product within a period of one week upon the receipt of the
notification. Huaqi or its dealer would not assume responsibility for keeping the unclaimed products after 3
months’ preservation.
5. You may choose paid service if the product is beyond warranty
6. Not all the parts but only the electronic components are within the scope of service commitments.

A. Technicians in Huaqi customers service center can give answers or solutions to your questions through
hotline.
B. As for the questions that can not be solved through hotline, Huaqi technicians will arrange the nearest
service station to detect and solve the problems.
2. You can contact with your dealer.
A. Huaqi dealer can help you to detect and solve the problems.
B. If the dealers can not solve the problems, they will be charge in delivering the products to the customer
service center where the professional Huaqi technicians can detect and deal with them.
You may bring the product to the local service station of Huaqi’s service center where the technicians can
help you to solve the problems.
