Door Com Door Entry System
DESCRIPTION:
TheLDCDoorComsystemprovideschimeand
dooransweringforonedoorwithuptosixinside
stations. The LDC-S set comes complete for a
systemwiththreeinsidestations,withtheability
to add up to three additional LDC-1C stations.
A chime sounds through all the inside stations
when a visitor calls, answered from any inside
station.Adoorreleasebuttonis included toopen
adoororgate.Communicatetoallroomsinside
with the one-touch All Call feature.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Power Source: 12V AC, 830mA. Use PT-1210N transformer
Current consumption: Maximum 300mA per station
Communication Output: 800mW at 20Ω(receive); 500mW at 20Ω (transmit)
Calling: 2-stroke chime when called from door station
Communication: Hands free at door station. Push-to-talk at inside station.
Wiring: LE-D to ACC-3: 2 conductor, shielded. Use Aiphone wire #822202.
ACC-3 to LDC-1C’s: 7 conductors (8 conductors with door release) looped.
Use Aiphone wire #822210.
Wiring Distance: 650’ with 22AWG; 1600’ with 18AWG.
Mounting: LDC-1C: Semi-flush. Cut into wall (6-1/8” x 3-3/4”), or rough in BBX-1E backbox.
ACC-3 and LE-D: Surface mount to 1-gang box or ring.

ARCHITECTS/ENGINEERS’ SPECIFICATIONS:
The intercom system shall provide door answering for one
door by up to six inside stations. System shall be Aiphone
LDC series. Door station shall be available in surface or flush
mount styles,a nd shall be weather resistant. Flush mount
door station shall be available with stainless steel, brass, or
antiquebrass finish. Insidestations shall besemi-flush mount
style with Talk, All Call, Door Release, and Mute buttons.
User shall be able to adjust chime and All Call volume at
each unit.
Door call-in shall ring a 2-stroke chime at all inside stations,
answered by pressing TALK at any inside station.
Communication at the inside stations shall be push-to-talk,
release-to-listen, and hands free at the door location.

SYSTEM LAYOUT EXAMPLE:
Internal communication shall be accomplished by pressing
the All Call button and speaking. A person may reply from
another inside station by pressing their All Call button. All
stations in the system shall receive the All Call
announcement unless their Mute button is pressed.
System adaptor shall provide chime from door, amplification
for All Call, power input, and a master volume control.
Wiring shall be 2 conductors from the door station to the
adaptor, and 7 common conductors between inside stations.
A separate 2 conductor wire shall be run from the adaptor
to the door location to activate a door opening mechanism.
System shall be manufactured by Aiphone.
