Last One Standing
IMPORTANT
AS OWNER/OPERATOR IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WRITE AND CARRY OUT
YOUR OWN RISK ASSESSMENT BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THIS PRODUCT.
1. Site survey:
1. Carry out a survey of the area where the Last One Standing will be located, and
check for any overhead/underground cables. It’s important that this is carried out
to avoid ground anchors penetrating underground services, and the Last One
Standing coming into contact with overhead cables when inflated.
2. You should provide an adequate power supply to the fan, this should adhere to
your local power regulations.
3. Check wind speed:It is not allowed to use an inflatable by a higher wind force than
force 5 on the Beaufort scale of 28 - 38 kmph (19-24 mph). Force 5 is a fresh breeze
when small trees in leaf begin to sway.
2. Inflatable Inclusions:
Extra equipment needed in addition to what is supplied with your inflatable:
•Suitable 240v Power Supply to operate the fan
CAUTION! Precautions should be taken during handling and use
of the product to prevent electric shock. The blower requires a
Ground Fault Protected Circuit (GFCI). Please read the
manufacturer’s Instruction Manual before using the blower(s).

Extra equipment you could consider for your new inflatable:
•Ground sheet to protect the underside of your inflatable
•Sandbag covers to anchor your inflatable indoors
•Sack truck to move your inflatable safely
•RCD to attach to your extension lead
•Crash Mats
This inflatable can be set up and packed away by 3 persons who have
had proper manual handling training and use the correct equipment to
move the inflatable.
3. Intended use of the product:
4. Operating guidelines:
- Before entering the game area, CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS SHALL BE GIVEN to players
on their conduct during playtime:
- NO SOMERSAULTS or any ACROBATICS allowed.
- All players remove footwear, eye wear, cell phones, keys, neck wear and/or any
sharp items.
- DO NOT allow the users to OBSTRUCT THE MOVEMENT OF THE ARM. This
includes no hanging on the arms, pushing-pulling them.
- For safety reasons, users should only stand at the designated jumping space
(numbers, podiums). Do not allow them to get closer to the middle of the bed.
- No one with ANY PRE-EXISTING INJURIES OR HEALTH CONCERNS may
use the “Last One Standing” game.
- Every time a user falls THE MECHANISM MUST BE STOPPED!
- Use the Emergency Button only in a case of an emergency. After releasing it, WAIT AT
LEAST 5 SECONDS before pressing any other button on the Control Box.
- The MAXIMUM NUMBER OF USERS HAS TO BE RESPECTED at all times.
- The unit should NOT TO BE USED IF IT BECOMES WET. In the event of rain, the unit
should be deflated and folded to prevent water collecting on it.
- The Last One Standing with a single arm mechanism is
designed to be used by up to eight players and one operator. The
players must bounce at the right time to avoid the rotating sealed
arm. The operator has control (via the supplied control box) over
the speed and direction of the arm to make the game harder or
easier as required. If a user is knocked over by the arm, they
should exit the game. The operator must stop the mechanism
until the eliminated player has exited the inflatable. The last
player standing is the winner.

- The Emergency Stop button MUST ALWAYS BE DEPRESSED AND THE KEY
REMOVED whenever you are setting up the ride or leaving the control console
unattended.
- The operator must adjust the speed of the arms to the abilities of the players.
- Do not press more than one button at a time.
- If the arms are OBSTRUCTED, RELEASE the left-right rotation buttons IMMEDIATELY.
5. Troubleshooting:
Inside the control box there is a motion controller manufactured by Yaskawa. This electronic
part is responsible for the motion of the sealed arms. Any incorrect usage of the mechanism could
result in Yaskawa producing an Error Code, which means the mechanism stops responding to
the operator’s commands.
Most of these error codes are built in safety mechanisms, protecting the electric motor. When
experiencing this sudden stop, our advice is to follow these simple steps:
- Turn the mechanism OFF, then ON with the Main On/Off key. This will reset the
Yaskawa settings and you should be able to resume playing.
- If that doesn’t help, unlock the top of the Control Box with the supplied triangle key, and
reset the settings manually by pressing the RESET button. (see figure below)
CAUTION! TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN OPENING
THE CONTROL BOX. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING
ELSE BESIDES THE RESET BUTTON.
Issue
Steps to take
Short circuit or ground fault
on the drive output side:
Try connecting the motor directly to the main supply. In case it is
used with an extension cord, make sure not to connect to many
things to the same extension lead.
The motor is operated at low
speed with heavy load:
Make sure you remove the obstacle from the motor that keeps it
stopping. Please note you are not allowed to add anything to the
middle foam of the mechanism. Make sure that when a player is
on the sealed arm the mechanism is stopped and is not moving
forward.
Cycle times of acceleration
/deceleration:
If you are surethat this isthe case, and we would need to change

Overvoltage:
The motor will give an error code if the input voltage is too high.
Make sure you change the generator to a smaller one.

If you still have issues with the mechanism, please contact Airquee

To avoid getting an error code:
- Make sure the electric power supply is stable and not fluctuating in any way.
- Make sure all the cables are connected properly: the motor with the control box, and the
control box to the main electric supply.
6. Hazards relating to electrical equipment:
The use of portable electrical equipment involves the potential risk of electric shock, burns or
fire. A major cause of accidents is failure to maintain equipment. The risk can be managed effectively
if sensible and appropriate rules for use and maintenance are applied!
1. The most important rule when handling the mechanism is to ALWAYS DISCONNECT IT
from its power source when ASSEMBLING THE UNIT, opening the Control Box or the
Drive Motor. (the only case when this doesn’t apply is when you manually reset the
Yaskawa).
2. The control box and the wiring used within the game are NOT WATER PROOF OR
WATER RESISTANT, therefore we do not recommend operating the unit in the rain.
Using electrical equipment in wet or damp conditions can be dangerous. If you suspect
water has entered any of the electrical components they should not be used until
completely dry and tested. We recommend taking professional advice where necessary.
3. All cables and electrical equipment must be tested in accordance with the regulations of
your country.
4. In accordance with HSE guidelines, all 240v equipment should be protected with an RCD
(Residual Current Device) having a maximum trip current of 30 mA. RCD’s are available
from Airquee or your electrical store.
Whenusing it with a generator, make sure it has an output of more than 4 kVA (kilo-volt-ampere),
and a stable 230 Volts on 50Hz.
7. Setup:
7.1 Assembly of the mechanism (AQ4816SP2):

The mechanism consists of:
- Add the Foam Cover to the Drive Motor,
then insert the wheels and tighten them
with the supplied bolts.
- Unfold the bed at the desired location
and move the drive motor to the center of
the bed.

- Exchange the wheels with the legs.
MAKE SURE THE SURFACE
WHERE YOU PLACE THE

- Insert the Middle Bar into the Drive Motor’s shaft and tighten the bolts at the desired
height. We recommend the second and third holes at least.
- Connect the Metal Arm: insert the arm into its
corresponding hole, and tighten it.

7.2 Assembly of the sealed arms:
- Slip the Sealed Arm on the Arm Bar, using the
highlighted hole.
- Inflate the Sealed Arm through the valve with
the help of the supplied handpump. When
deflating the Sealed Arm, you must PUSH
THE MIDDLE OF THE VALVE, this way
opening it. You can close the valve by
pressing its middle again. Don’t forget to fit the
cap on the valve after inflating.
- Bind the webbing around the middle bar and
tie the eyelets with the supplied rope.
- Add the webbing cam buckle
bungee cord:
a) The cord goes through the
webbing anchor point on the
sealed arm cover, connects
to the cam buckle with both
ends,
b) The webbing is inserted
through the hole on the top
of the middle bar.
- The highlighted PVC loop is for pulling the
uninflated sealed arm in its cover. Make
sure it is hidden when using the LOS. It
may harm users when rotating.

- Connect the drive motor to the control
panel with the 12m cable. The electric
socket can be found inside the drive motor.
7.3 Assembly of the bed:
- Start connecting the sandwich Velcro flaps. The easiest way to connect the
flaps is to first patch the lower part of the Velcro all the way, then cover the top
part of the right side soft Velcro with the left side hard Velcro flap.
- You may inflate the bed. While inflating, adjust the position of the bed around the
mechanism with the help of the anchor points, to make sure the mechanism stands in the
middle of its designated hole.
- After inflating, add the bed hole cover.
- Add the podiums/numbers.

7.4 Assembly of the Control Panel:

- You must bolt these 3 parts together.
7.4.1 The Control Box:
1. 12M Cable electrical output socket.
2. Main On/Off switch. It works only with the supplied keys.
3. Emergency Stop: In case you must stop the mechanism
suddenly.
4. This will light up when the Control Panel is under power,
and the key is turned to ON.
5. You can change the movement direction of the arms.
6. Adjusting the speed of the arms.
7. Key hole to open the Control Box.
8. Main power cable.
7.4.2 Transporting and storing
When packing away the mechanism for transporting/storing, we advise to:
- remove the keys of the control box.
- do not place anything heavy on the control box or on any part of the mechanism.
- make sure the mechanical parts are packed and protected correctly.
- store the mechanism in dry conditions/in a dry place.
- not to remove the sealed arms from its covers.
- leave the bolts and nuts on the mechanism in their corresponding holes.
- dry every part (if for any reason it becomes wet).

7.4.3 Positioning of the Control Panel:
The control panel must be placed at the entrance, at an approximate distance of 1.5M, so that
the operator has an unobstructed view of ALL the players.
8. Routine Inspections, Trial Operations and Thorough Examinations:
8.1 Routine inspections (before every use)
After every setup or operation, before opening the game to the public, the controller or his
nominee SHALL PERSONALLY CHECK that the setup of the Last One Standing is correct.
We recommend to check for every criteria written below. The person carrying out the check shall
be sufficiently trained or experienced in the check routines that have to be carried out.
Check that: - every button is in a working condition on the Control Panel.
- the electrical connection sockets and cables are not chafed nor damaged.
- the Velcro of every cover has a good grip and is not weakened, the covers are
not damaged and no accessible parts of the machinery has sharp edges,
sharp angles or rough surfaces to cause injury, and no openings which can
“trap” parts of the body or clothing.
- the webbing cam buckles of each sealed arm are not damaged, including their
stitching to the sealed arms cover.
- the stitching of the bed and walls do not have tear, rips which could represent
a safety hazard.
- the metal arms and springs don’t have any sign of damage.
- all nuts and bolts are secure and tightened.
- the inflatable bed is securely anchored.

The mechanism has only 1 lubrication point.
This bearing has already a sufficient inner
lubrication, but if lubrication is deemed necessary,
manual lubrication can be applied through the hole
highlighted on the picture.
The device shall not be made available to the public until any adjustments or repairs judged to
be necessary as a result of this inspection have been completed.
8.2 Trial runs
Following the check, the controller shall run one or more trial runs without any members of the
public on it, simulating where possible emergency situations to verify particularly that the control
system and the emergency stop works properly. Only NOW ARE THE PLAYERS ALLOWED TO
ENTER THE UNIT.
8.3 Thorough examination
Besides the regular checks, the Last One Standing should be thoroughly examined at
appropriate intervals by a competent person/institute/organization/company.
The intervals between two successive thorough examinations may be governed by existing
national regulations:
