Sealed Building
IMPORTANT
AS OWNER/OPERATOR IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WRITE AND CARRY OUT
YOUR OWN RISK ASSESSMENT BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THIS PRODUCT.
Site survey:
1. Carry out a survey of the area where the Sealed Building will be located, and check
for any overhead/underground cables. It’s important that this is carried out to avoid
ground anchors penetrating underground services, and the Sealed Building coming
into contact with overhead cables when inflated.
2. You should provide an adequate power supply to the fan, this should adhere to
your local power regulations.

Included with your Sealed Building:
Extra equipment needed in addition what is supplied with your inflatable:
Suitable 240v Power Supply to operate the fan
Extra equipment you could consider for your new inflatable:
Ground sheet to protect the underside of your inflatable
Sandbag covers to anchor your inflatable where anchors cannot be used
Sack truck to move your inflatable safely
RCD to attach to your extension lead
This inflatable can be set up and packed away by 2 persons who have
had proper manual handling training and uses the correct equipment
to move the inflatable.
Set up:
Please note the inflatable is packed in a way, that its end (or back) is rolled out first, and the
direction of rolling will usually show the direction the inflatable will face when inflated. This is
relevant, because some inflatables could represent a challenge to move or position them because
of their weight after they are unrolled/inflated.
- Position the folded Sealed Building in the desired place and direction.
- Unroll and unfold.
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL FIND THE INFLATION/DEFLATION VALVES
INSIDE THE UNIT, ON THE LOWER PARTS OF THE CORNER COLUMNS,
WHICH ARE ONLY ACCESIBLE THROUGH THE DOORS.

The location of the 3 inflation/deflation valves and the overpressure valve is seen below:
The Overpressure Valve is a safety feature, to protect the sealed structure from overinflating.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU WISH TO INSTALL THE SOLAR PANELS,
YOU HAVE TO DO IT BEFORE INFLATING THE UNIT.
Installing the solar panels:
The solar panels are fixed to the roof with the help of zips.
The cables of the solar panels permeate the building through
the 2 holes seen on fig 2a. Cover the cables with the Velcro
flaps to make the hole waterproof.
- You may START INFLATING the unit.

- Check if the walls are straight and aligned. If the walls are out of alignment, these can be pushed
into place.
- The structure is connected to the ground sheet with 4 Velcro connection points as shown on fig. 1a.
After the cables are inside the Sealed Building, attach the supplied Webbing Straps to the beams and
columns of the inflated structure, to route them throughout the Sealed Building.
Anchoring & Ballasting:
If ballast weights are being used, you can then mark the positions for the upper anchors, they should be
positioned the correct distance away from the Sealed Building, so that the angle of the webbing straps from
the upper anchors to the ground is approximately 30° to 45°. (Fig. 5)
Once the ground anchors have been installed, connect the ropes to each of the high-level anchor points on
the Sealed Building and to its corresponding ground anchors. Please use all the anchor points of the unit.

The following is a guide to the type of anchorage required for given wind speeds, it is your responsibility to
the check the wind speeds in your location:
Stage 1 –Up to Beaufort scale 5 wind speeds gusting up to 9 -11 meters per second
Lower ground anchors only can be used, use upper anchors if the ground conditions are soft.
Stage 2 –Up to Beaufort scale 7 wind speeds gusting up to 14 - 17 meters per second
Upper and lower anchors to be used, supplement with ballast weights if the ground conditions are soft.
Stage 3 –Above Beaufort scale 7
Do not use the Sealed Building. Evacuate and deflate.
If using ballast weights, then we would suggest using 500 kg ballast weights for every 2 upper connection
points on the Sealed Building.
The unit comes with steel pegs, but you may use sand bags, concrete ballast or big water ballast.
Adding the Door Netting:
The two doors of the Sealed Building are equipped with Velcro frames for the Door Net.
Simply attach the nets as shown on fig. 6a.
Deflation and Packing Away:
- Make sure all loose and sharp items have been removed from the inside the Sealed Building.
- Remove all of the ground anchors and webbing straps.
BECAUSE IT IS A SEALED STRUCTURE, WE ADVISE
USING THE HANDHELD FAN TO DEFLATE THE UNIT.
- Connect the handheld fan to one of the valves. Start deflation.
- While deflating, grab the ground sheet, and pull the leg with the used valve as close to the door as
you can. It will be easier to locate the valve next time you wish to inflate the Sealed Building.
