It is important that this instruction manual should be retained with the appliance
for future reference. These warnings have been provided in the interest of safety.

at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
• Do not use a damaged power cord
or plug or a loose outlet. Doing so
may result in fire or electric shock.
• Do not play music at excessive
level especially near children.
• WARNING! Keep batteries out of
reach of children. Swallowing may
lead to serious injury or death in
as little as 2 hours due to chemical
burns and potential perforation
of the oesophagus. If swallowed,
immediately go to a hospital
emergency room. Dispose of used
batteries immediately.
BATTERY SAFETY:
• Caution: There is danger of
explosion if the battery is replaced
incorrectly. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type of battery.
Insert the battery holder into the
battery compartment.
• Please remove the battery to
prevent damage or injury from
possible battery leakage if the unit
will not be used for a long period
of time. Only use the specified size
and type of battery.
• Keep coin-sized button batteries
and devices out of sight and out of
reach of children and pets.
• Examine devices and make sure
the battery compartment is secure.
• Dispose of used button batteries
immediately. Flat batteries can still
be dangerous.
• If you suspect a child has
swallowed a button battery,
immediately go to a hospital
emergency room.
• Tell others about the risk
associated with button batteries
and how to keep their children safe.

• Please aim the remote control
directly towards the remote
control sensor in the front panel
in order to receive a better signal
for operation. Don’t put any objects
between the unit and the remote
control while operating the unit.
• WARNING! To reduce the risk of
electric shock do not remove the
cover or back of the device. There
are no user serviceable parts
inside. Refer servicing and repair to
qualified service personnel or the
manufacturer.
• Do not plug/unplug the power plug
into/from an electrical outlet with
wet hands.
• Use replacement parts, which are
specified by the manufacturer.
• Place the unit where there is good
ventilation. Place the system on
a flat, hard and stable surface.
Do not expose to temperatures
above 40°C. Allow at least 10 cm
clearance from the rear and the top
of the unit and 5 cm from each side.
• Don’t mount this product on a wall
or ceiling.
• Do not place the unit near TVs,
speakers and other objects that
generate strong magnetic fields.
• The normal function of the product
may be disturbed by strong
Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so,
simply reset the product to resume
normal operation by following the
instruction manual. In case the
function could not resume, please
use the product in other location.
• NOTE: when the system is
switched to standby mode, it is
still consuming some power. To
disconnect the system completely,
remove the AC power plug from the
wall outlet.
• In the unlikely event the appliance
develops a fault, stop using
it immediately and seek advice

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the product from the box.
2. Remove any packaging from the
product.
3. Please retain all packaging until you
have checked and counted all the parts
and the contents against the parts list.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
Note: Press the Standby button once to turn
the speaker on. Long press the Standby
button to turn the speaker o.

Installing the Remote Batteries:
The remote control requires one ‘CR2025’
type 3V Lithium Battery (included) to extend
the life of the original battery.
• A small clear spacer tab is inserted
between the lithium battery and the
battery terminal.
• Pull the clear tab from the battery
compartment at the base (straight) end
of the remote.
• The battery will need to be replaced if
the remote does not work properly or
only functions when you move closer to
the speaker.
• To do this: Slide the holder out from the
base of the remote. Remove the battery
and replace with it with a 3V Lithium
CR2025 battery. Ensure that the slide
of the battery is on the underside of the
holder as you slide it back in.
POWERING ON/OFF:
For best results, fully charge the unit before
use.
1. Place the speaker on a at, stable
surface.
2. Connect the power cord to the AC
Socket on the back of the appliance.
Plug the other end into the mains
outlet.
3. Press the Power button on the remote
or Standby on the device to turn the
speaker on. The speaker’s Standby
light will turn red to indicate it’s in
Standby mode.

4. To turn the speaker o, press the
Power button on the remote or long
press the Standby button on the body
of the device.
5. Unplug the speaker from the mains
outlet.
BLUETOOTH MODE:
1. Press the Bluetooth button on the
speaker’s top panel or on the remote
control. The display will change to ‘bt’
and the LED light will ash.
2. Turn Bluetooth on in your external
device and search for ‘A50000’ on
your Bluetooth device and pair it. If a
password is required, enter ‘0000’ for
pairing.
3. The speaker will make a ‘DU’ sound
when it’s successfully paired.
4. If pairing is unsuccessful, restart both
devices and repeat the steps above.
5. Use the controls on your external
device, remote control or on the
speaker to control playback.
6. Adjust the volume level with the
Volume Control.
7. Make sure the eective distance
between the Bluetooth device and the
speaker not more than 10 meters.
FM RADIO:
To obtain the best FM reception, unwrap and
fully extend the antenna on the rear of the
speaker and adjust the direction.
1. Press the FM button on the speaker or
on the remote to select FM radio mode.
Once selected, ‘FM radio channel’ will
appear on the display.
2. Long press the Play/Pause/Pairing
button on the speaker or the Play/
Pause button on the remote to
automatically search for FM stations
with strong signals.
3. The speaker will save any FM stations
with a strong signal.
4. Once the stations are stored, press the
Play/Pause/Pairing button to select
next station.
5. To adjust FM frequency, press the
Previous/Next button on the speaker
or the Previous/Next button on the
remote. Note: Up to 30 FM stations can
be stored.
LINE-IN MODE:
This mode requires a 3.5mm cable
(supplied).
1. Connect a 3.5mm cable to the Line-in
jack. Connect the other end of the cable
to an MP3 player or external audio
source.
2. Press the Standby button to turn the
speaker on.
3. Press the Line-in button on the speaker
or the remote to switch to Line-in
mode.
4. Use the controls on the connected
device to begin playing audio routed
through the unit.

RCA AUX-IN MODE:
1. To use RCA AUX-in mode, connect your
external device to the RCA L/R jack
located on the top panel of the speaker
with a RCA AUX-in Cable (not included).
2. Once connected, press the AUX button
on the speaker or the remote. ‘AUX’ will
then appear on the display.
3. Sound from your external device will
now be played through speaker.
4. Use your external device to control
playback.
MP3 PLAYBACK VIA THE USB INPUT:
1. Press the Standby button to switch
the speaker on and insert a USB Flash
Drive (not supplied) into the USB
Input port. Ensure the plug is properly
inserted.
2. The speaker should automatically
change to USB playback mode. If it
does not, press the USB button on the
top panel or the remote to enter into
USB playback mode. When this is done
‘USB’ will show up on the display.
3. Press the Previous/Next button on the
top panel or remote control to select a
track.
4. Press Play/Pause/Pairing button on the
top panel or on the remote to control
playback.
Note:
• The maximum size supported for the
Flash Drive is up to 32GB. USB mode is
suitable for music playback only.
• Most MP3 les are supported and other
music formats may not be played.
• Smartphone playback via USB cable
and encrypted USB devices may not be
supported on this unit.
LED LIGHT EFFECT:
1. The LED light will automatically ash
when the speaker is on.
2. Press the LED ON/OFF button on the
remote control to turn the LED light on
or o.
3. The LED light illuminates in six colours:
green, red, blue, yellow, purple and
light blue.
MICROPHONE INPUT:
A 6.3mm cable (not supplied) is required for
the microphone input.
1. Connect the (included) wired
microphone to the microphone input.
2. Turn the speaker on by pressing the
Standby button on the speaker’s top
panel or the Power button on the
remote.
3. Use the Microphone Volume Knob
to adjust the volume level of the
Microphone Input.
GUITAR INPUT:
A 6.3mm cable (not supplied) is required for
the Guitar input.
1. Connect a wired guitar (not included) to
the speaker’s guitar input.
2. Turn on the speaker by pressing the
Standby button on the top panel or the
Power button on the remote.
3. Use the Guitar Volume Knob to adjust
the volume level for the guitar input.

CLEANING AND CARE
• Disconnect the appliance from the
power source when cleaning.
• Clean the unit with a soft, damp
cloth. Never use chemicals or harsh
abrasives.
• Do not use any wax, polish sprays, or
abrasive cleaners on the speaker.
• Keep this unit away from wet or damp
surroundings.
• The crossed out wheelie bin symbol
on this item indicates that this
product needs to be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way when it
becomes of no further use or has worn
out. Contact your local authorities for
details of where to take the item for
re-cycling.
PROBLEM SOLOUTION
Power
The system does not turn
on or does not respond to
the remote control.
• Make sure AC power plug is properly connected to the
mains outlet and it has power.
• If this does not help, leave the unit unplugged and
seek advice from the manufacturer or qualied repair
technician.
Remote control
No functions or poor
reception.
• Insert new batteries.
• Aim remote directly towards the remote sensor.
Pairing the product
Cannot pair successfully.
• Check whether the speaker is in standby or searching
mode.
• Check whether there are other Bluetooth receivers
around your Bluetooth device. Turn them o to avoid any
disturbance. Attempt to pair again.
• You can click “Forget this device” and then repair it again
if required. Search for “A50000” on the Bluetooth device
and pair it again.
Cannot play properly, the
music plays intermittently.
• Check whether the distance between the speaker and
your Bluetooth device is out of its working distance
(10m), or whether there are obstacles blocking the
communication between the speaker and the Bluetooth
device. Move the speaker or the Bluetooth device to get
the best reception.
The sound is distorted. • Check the volume setting on both the speaker & your
Bluetooth device, and adjust the volume to a suitable
level.
• Increase the volume.
No sound can be heard. • Check if the volume is in MUTE mode, and then adjust the
volume level in desired level.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains
lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and
must be connected to the terminal marked
[N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or
the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH]
terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the
same rating already tted and conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must
use an ASTA approved one (conforming to
BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect
it from the mains - and then cut it o the
mains lead and immediately dispose of its
safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
danger of an electric shock.
WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated.
Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
