sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät betreffen. Bitte diese Gebrauchsanweisung unbedingt für die
spätere Verwendung aufbewahren
Änderungen im Interesse der technischen Weiterentwicklung bleiben vorbehalten; die
Gebrauchsanweisung unterliegt nicht dem Änderungsdienst.

1.5 Voraussetzungen für den sicheren Betrieb
Bitte machen Sie sich vor der Inbetriebnahme Ihres Gerätes mit dem Inhalt dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung gründlich vertraut.
oDie richtige Bedienung des Produktes ist für den sicheren Betrieb unerlässlich.
oDas Produkt muss im Rahmen des bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauches benutzt werden.
oDas Produkt darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen benutzt werden. Der Betrieb in
Gegenwart von brennbaren Narkosemitteln und flüchtigen Lösungsmitteln wie Alkohol,
Benzin oder ähnlichem ist, bis auf Kleinstmengen, untersagt.
oDas Produkt darf nicht in feuchten Räumen und keinesfalls in Räumen mit Tropf-, Schwall-
oder Spritzwasser stationiert werden.
oVom Hersteller autorisierte Änderungen dürfen nur durch vom Hersteller bevollmächtigtes
Personal durchgeführt werden. Nicht vom Hersteller vorgeschriebene oder autorisierte

2Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Instrumententische der AK 106 Serie sind höhenverstellbare Gerätetische. Sie wurden zur
Aufnahme von Ophthalmologischen Geräten mit einer max. Masse von 50 kg konstruiert.

4Allgemeines, Geräteaufbau, Bedienelemente
Zur Behandlung des Patienten können die Instrumententische optimal auf die erforderliche Höhe
eingestellt werden. Dadurch ist ein ruhiges und ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten möglich.
Die Höhenverstellung erfolgt stufenlos durch eine geschlossene, wartungsfreie elektromotorische
Antriebseinheit.

5Ausgleich von Fußbodenunebenheiten
oPrüfen Sie den sicheren, kippfreien Stand des Gerätetisches und richten die Tischplatte mit
den vier höhenverstellbaren Füßen (1) oder Rollen waagerecht aus.
oSichern Sie nach dem Ausrichten der Tischplatte die Stellung der Füße mit den
Kontermuttern (2).
6Verkabelung
Der mit dem Spannungswahlschalter (optional) eingestellte Wert für die Netzspannung muss mit der
Netzspannung des Netzes am Aufstellungsort übereinstimmen. Ist das nicht der Fall, kann die
Netzspannung mit dem Spannungswahlschalter (siehe Kapitel 3) eingestellt werden
Achtung! Bei Nichtbeachtung der Einstellung kann die Hubsäule Schaden nehmen und muss durch
den Hersteller instandgesetzt werden.
7Tischhöhe einstellen
In der Hubsäule befindet sich eine elektromotorische Stelleinheit, mit deren Hilfe die Tischplatte in
der Höhe verstellbar ist. Passen Sie die Höhe des Instrumententisches mit den darauf installierten
Geräten an die Körpergröße des Patienten an.
Warnung: Thermische Überlastung!
Der Motor der Hubsäule ist nicht für Dauerbetrieb ausgelegt. Beschränken Sie die Auf- und
Abwärtsbewegungen der Hubsäule deshalb auf die unbedingt notwendigen Bewegungen. Eine
Belastungsdauer von > 1 min kann zur thermischen Überlastung des Motors führen. In diesem Fall
schaltet ein Thermoschalter den Antriebsmotor automatisch ab. Erst nach einer entsprechenden
Abkühlphase ist der Motor und damit die Hubsäule wieder betriebsbereit.
8Wartung
Die Instrumententische der ak 106 Serie sind wartungsfrei.
9Pflege der Instrumententische
Gereinigt werden nur die Außenflächen der Instrumententische. Für die Reinigung wird ein mit
verdünnter Seifenlösung leicht angefeuchteter, nicht tropfender Lappen empfohlen.
Achtung: keine Lösungsmittel (Ether, Aceton), Säuren oder schleifende Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
10 Geräteentsorgung
Die Batterie und alle elektrischen Komponenten (Motoren, Steuerung) sind als Elektroschrott den
Landesbestimmungen entsprechend fachgerecht zu entsorgen.

2Intended use
The AK 106 vario instrument tables are vertically adjustable. They have been designed to carry
ophthalmic instruments up to a max. permissible table load of 50 kg.

Infinitely variable height adjustments allows to precisely position tabletop at its required height for
convenient, fatigue-free operation. Height adjustment by an enclosed, maintenance-free electric
motor.

5Set up and levelling the instrument table
oAssure solid and firm footing, avoid any danger of tipping. Level the tabletop by turning the
vertically adjustable feet (1) or castors.
oSecure the position after leveling using the lock nuts (2).
6Main power connection
Make sure specified power limitations on the type label comply with the local power supply. If not,
correct the setting of the voltage switch (option, see chapter 3).
Caution! The setting of the voltage switch is important because a wrong setting can cause seriously
damage of the motor columm. This damage could only be repaired by the manufacturer.
7Adjusting the table height
An electric motor drive inside the center column allows vertical adjustment of the tabletop. Position
tabletop at desired height.
Caution: Overheat protection!
The motor in the lifting column is not designed for continuous long-term operation. Therefore, lift or
lower the table only, when necessary. Operating periods of > 1 minute may cause overheating of the
motor.
8Maintenance
The AK 106 vario is maintenance free.
9Cleaning and care
Clean only the external surfaces of the instrument table using a damp but not wet cloth, in case of
heavy stains do not use abrasive or aggressive materials but regular cleaning detergents for cleaning.
Do not use ether, Acetone or concentrated acids.
Caution: do not use any solvents (ether, acetone), acids or abrasive cleaning agents.

1. Tischplattenhalter ( Pos. 2 ) mit M8x35 Senkschrauben ( Pos. 70 ) auf die Oberseite
der Hubsäule ( Pos. 10 ) montieren.
Hubsäulenanordnung
Kleine Platte, 500 x 600 zentral oder dezentral
Große Platte 600 x 1000 (Rechteck oder V Form) NUR ZENTRAL
2. Tischplatte ( Pos. 4 ) mit der Oberseite auf den Fußboden legen, Säule mit
Tischplattenhalter auf die Platte stellen, an den Vorbohrungen ausrichten und mit 8
Spax- Schrauben (Pos. 100) befestigen.
3. Stellfüße in die Grundplatte schrauben und mit Kontermutter (Pos. 15, 80) sichern.
Optionale Rollen ( Pos. 16) ohne Kontermutter einschrauben.
4. Grundplatte ( Pos. 1 ) mit 4 Zylinderschrauben M8x30 und Unterlegscheiben
( Pos. 90, 60 ) an der Hubsäule ( Pos.10 ) befestigen.
Achtung! Grundplatten Ausrichtung wie Tischplattenhalter. ( seitlich oder zentral )
5. Abdeckkappen (Pos. 17) in die nicht benutzte Bohrungen einpressen,

Installation guide for ak 106 vario
1. Attach table top mounting plate ( Pos. 2 ) to the top of electric lift ( Pos. 10 ) using the
countersunk screws M8x35 ( Pos. 70 ).
Position of lift
Small top, 500 x 600, center or off center
Large top 600 x 1000 (rectangular or V shape) ONLY CENTER
2. Place table top ( Pos. 4 ) upside down on the floor, place table top mounting plate on
the electric lift on table top, line up bores and tighten the 8 Spax- screws (Pos. 100).
3. Screw studs into base and secure with the lock nuts (Pos. 15, 80)..
Do not use lock nuts on the optional castors ( Pos. 16).
4. Attach base ( Pos. 1 ) to electric lift ( Pos.10 ) using the 4 cylinder head screws M8x30
( Pos. 90, 60) .
Caution Make sure the base is lined up with the table top mounting plate. (center or
off center)
5. Insert plastic covers (Pos. 17) into the spare holes, secure loose cables with wire
clamps (Pos.12) under the table top.
