Das ATC-Display ermöglicht den aktuellen Status des ATC direkt am Armatu-
renbrett abzulesen. Für den Einbau ist keine Abnahme durch eine amtliche Prüf-
stelle erforderlich.

MONTAGE
HINWEIS
Wir empfehlen alle Montagearbeiten nur durch kompetente Fachbe-
triebe oder unsere AL-KO Servicestellen durchführen zu lassen.
ACHTUNG!
Gefahr durch Funktionsstörung!
ATC muss während der Montage spannungsfrei sein.
Vor der Montage des ATC-Display den 13-poligen Stecker am Zug-
fahrzeug ausstecken!
Selbsttest AL-KO Trailer Control beachten.
Vor jedem Fahrtantritt die LEDs des ATC-Display mit der LED des ATC-
Senders vergleichen.
Vor jedem Fahrtantritt sicherstellen, dass alle LEDs funktionieren.

Montage

LED prüfen
1. 13-poliges Anhängerkabel am Zugfahrzeug einstecken (7).
2. ATC startet einen Selbsttest
➯LED leuchtet ca. 3 Sekunden rot, danach schaltet LED auf grün. ATC
ist bereit!
ATC Sender montieren
1. Deichselabdeckung demontieren (1).
2. Halteblech demontieren und Mutter an der LED lösen (2).
3. Schrumpfschlauch vorsichtig mit dem Messer auftrennen und abziehen (3).
4. Steckhülsen von der LED abziehen und LED entsorgen (3).
HINWEIS
Ist die LED gelötet:
1. LED abschneiden.
2. Auf jede Leitung des ATC eine Flachsteckhülse* aufcrimpen.
* Flachsteckhülse 2,8x0,8-1,002 ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthal-
ten.
5. Großen Schrumpfschlauch über beide Kabel schieben und nach hinten zie-
hen (4).
6. Jeweils über ein Kabel einen kleinen Schrumpfschlauch schieben (5).
7. Steckhülsen (Sender und ATC) zusammenstecken (6).
➯Farben beachten!
ATC-Display und Sender einlernen
Das ATC-Display ist ausgeschaltet.
1. 13-poliges Anhängerkabel am Zugfahrzeug ausstecken und nach 5 Sekun-
den wieder einstecken.
2. ATC startet einen Selbsttest
3. Anschließend den Taster (Abb.1-4) 30 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten. Alle
LEDs leuchten kurz nacheinander (Lauflicht) auf.
➯Leuchtet oder blinkt nur noch die rote oder grüne LED ist der Vorgang
abgeschlossen und das Einlernen war erfolgreich.
4. Taste loslassen.

Abschluss ATC Sender montieren
1. Kleine Schrumpfschläuche über die Steckhülsen ziehen und mit dem Heiß-
luftföhn einschrumpfen (8).
2. Anschließend den großen Schrumpfschlauch über die beiden kleinen ziehen
und ebenfalls einschrumpfen (9).
3. Sender mit beiliegendem Reinigungstuch abwischen (10).
4. Klebepads von Trägerfolie abziehen und auf Sender aufkleben (11).
5. Unterseite der Deichselabdeckung, im Bereich der Sendermontage, mit Rei-
nigungstuch abwischen (12).
6. Schutzfolie von Klebestreifen abziehen und LED durch die vorhandene Boh-
rung in der Deichselabdeckung stecken (13). 1
7. Sender fest an die Deichselabdeckung drücken.
8. ATC-Schild auf der Deichselabdeckung festkleben (13).
9. Deichselabdeckung montieren (14).
HINWEIS
1 ab der Modellreihe 04/2013 muss die vorhandene Bohrung für die
LED auf ∅13,5 aufgebohrt werden!
BEDIENUNG
ATC-Display einschalten
1. Taster (Abb. 1-4) drücken, bis alle LEDs leuchten.
Alle LEDs leuchten gleichzeitig für 2 Sekunden auf. Danach sind alle LEDs für 1
Sekunde aus. Der Empfänger schaltet sich ein. Die LEDs zeigen nun den Status
der Batterie wie folgt an:

rot, gelb 25 - 50%
rot 0 - 25%
Batteriespannung während des Betriebs anzeigen
1. Taster (Abb.1-4) länger als 3 Sekunden drücken.

ATC-Display ausschalten
1. Taster (Abb.1-4) drücken.
ATC-Display schaltet nach 2 Sekunden ab.
HINWEIS
Ohne Empfang zum Sender schaltet das ATC-Display nach 10 Minuten
automatisch ab.
Ohne Statusänderung (z.B. beim Parken) schaltet das ATC-Display
nach 10 Stunden automatisch ab.
HINWEIS
Abhängig vom Zugfahrzeug, kann es beim Starten des Zugfahrzeuges
zu einem Neustart des ATC kommen.
Dies wird durch ein kurzes Aufleuchten der LED angezeigt, stellt aber
keinen Funktionsfehler dar!

DBedienung

Batterien einlegen / wechseln
1. Deckel abschrauben.
2. Batterien einlegen
➯auf richtige Polung achten.
3. Deckel zuschrauben.
4. ATC-Display einmal Ein-und Ausschalten.
HINWEIS
Es ist auch ein Betrieb mit Akkus möglich. Die Akkus können mit einem
handelsüblichen USB-Ladekabel geladen werden. Der Betrieb wäh-
rend des Ladevorgangs ist möglich.
Entsorgung
Ausgediente Geräte, Batterien oder Akkus nicht über den
Hausmüll entsorgen!
Verpackung, Gerät und Zubehör sind aus recyclingfähigen Materia-
lien hergestellt und entsprechend zu entsorgen.

ASSEMBLY
ADVICE
We recommend having all installation work carried out only by compe-
tent specialist workshops or our AL-KO Service Centres.
CAUTION!
Danger due to malfunction!
ATC must not be connected to the power supply during installation.
Before installing the ATC Display, disconnect the 13-pin plug from the
towing vehicle!
Note the AL-KO Trailer Control self-test.
Before setting off, compare the LEDs on the ATC Display with the LEDs on
the ATC Transmitter.
Before setting off, check that all LEDs are operational.
Check the LED
1. Insert the 13-pin trailer cable on the towing vehicle (7).
2. The ATC begins a self-test
➯The LED illuminates red for around 3 seconds, then the LED switches
to green. The ATC is ready!
Installing the ATC transmitter
1. Remove the towbar cover (1).
2. Remove the retaining plate and loosen the nut on the LED (2).
3. Carefully separate the shrink hose with the knife and remove it (3).
4. Pull the push-on contacts off the LED and dispose of the LED (3).
ADVICE
If the LED is soldered:
1. cut off the LED.
2. Crimp a blade terminal* onto each cable of the ATC.
* Blade terminal 2.8x0.8-1.002 is not supplied.
5. Push the large shrink hose over both cables and pull it towards the rear (4).
6. Push a small shrink hose over each of the cables (5).
7. Connect the push-on contacts (transmitter and ATC) (6).

Teaching the ATC Display and Transmitter
The ATC Display is switched off.
1. Disconnect the 13-pin trailer cable on the towing vehicle, wait 5 seconds and
then reconnect it.
2. The ATC begins a self-test
3. Then hold the button (Fig. 1-4) down for 30 seconds. All of the LEDs illumi-
nate briefly one after the other (chaser light).
➯Once only the red or green LED lights up or flashes, the process is
complete and teaching was successful.
4. Release the button.
Completing the installation of the ATC Transmitter
1. Pull small shrink hoses over the push-on contacts and shrink them with hot
air from a hair dryer (8).
2. Then pull the large shrink hose over the two small ones and shrink this one
too (9).
3. Wipe down the transmitter using the cleaning cloth that comes with the pa-
ckage (10).
4. Remove the adhesive pads from the backing film and stick them onto the
transmitter (11).
5. Wipe down the underside of the towbar cover in the area of the transmitter
installation with the cleaning cloth (12).
6. Pull off the backing film from the adhesive strips and push the LED through
the existing hole in the towbar cover (13). 1
7. Press the transmitter firmly onto the towbar cover.
8. Stick the ATC plate onto the towbar cover (13).
9. Fit the towbar cover (14).
ADVICE
1 from model series 04/2013, the hole for the LED must be enlarged
∅to 13.5!
OPERATION
Switching on the ATC Display
1. Press the button (Fig. 1-4) until all LEDs illuminate.
All of the LEDs light up simultaneously for 2 seconds. After this, all of the LEDs
stay off for 1 second. The receiver switches itself on. The LEDs now display the
status of the battery as follows:

Switching off the ATC Display
1. Press the button (Fig. 1-4).

The ATC Display switches off after 2 seconds.
ADVICE
If there is no reception to the transmitter, the ATC Display switches
itself off automatically after 10 minutes.
If the status does not change (e.g. because the vehicle is parked), the
ATC Display switches itself off automatically after 10 hours.
ADVICE
Depending on the towing vehicle, the ATC may restart when the towing
vehicle is started.
This is indicated by the LEDs illuminating briefly, however this does not
mean that it is malfunctioning!
Inserting / changing the batteries
1. Unscrew the cover.
2. Insert the batteries
➯Check the correct polarity.
3. Screw the cover back on.
4. Switch the ATC Display on and off once.
ADVICE
It is also possible to operate the ATC Display with rechargeable bat-
teries. The rechargeable batteries can be charged via a conventional
USB charging cable. The ATC Display can be operated while it is char-
ging.
Disposal
Do not dispose of worn-out machines or spent batteries (inclu-
ding rechargeable batteries) in domestic waste!
The packaging, machine and accessories are made from recyclable
materials and must be disposed of accordingly.
