5- RIDING E-SCOOTER
HOW TO RIDE THE TWO WHEEL E-SCOOTER
* Please wear a helmet and other protective gear as shown in the picture
against any risks of falling and injury when riding your scooter.
1- Turn on the scooter and check the power indicator.
2- With one foot standing on the deck, push the ground backwards with your
other foot to move the Scooter.

10
3- Once the electric scooter starts rolling, step the other foot onto the deck,
standing as shown. With both feet on the deck, slightly press the throttle (a
speed above 3km/h will activate the throttle).
4-Releasing the throttle decreases the speed, and the automatic energy re-
covery system can help to slow down. In case of emergency you will need to
press the handle brake on the left side.
5- When turning, you need to lean the body slightly toward the direction of the
turn and slowly turn the handle.

11
6- RIDING SAFETY
Please avoid riding in the rain.
Do not press on the accelera-
tor pin while walking with the
e-scooter.
Do not accelerate downhill.
Avoid barriers while riding.

12
Do not hang any heavy items on
the handlebar.
Keep both feet on the deck when
driving
When encountering unconventional roads such as speed bumps/eleva-
tor thresholds/potholes, please do not pass at high speed. Please
keep the low speed (5-10km/h) on rough roads. Bend your knees a bit to
better adapt to the above complex roads.

13
7- FOLDING AND TRANSPORTATION
Pull the safety-lock up while holding the standpipe, then open up the fold-
ing-clip. Fold down the handle bar, aiming it at the bell and the fender hook,
then buckle the bell with the back-fender.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• An electric scooter is a non-vehicular sports and entertainment equipment, however
if you drive it in an area that is open to the public, it will also be deemed as a vehicle.
This means there are also possible safety risks for all modes of transport. Strictly
follow the instructions in this manual to ensure the maximum protection for your and
the others’ safety during your ride, and ensure that you fully comply with national and
local laws and trafc regulations.
• Please respect the pedestrians` right of way when driving. Avoid frightening the pe-
destrians, especially any children. When passing by pedestrians, slow down and give
ample warning. Pass from the left side of the pedestrian (applicable to the country
where the vehicles travel on the right in trafc) as much as possible. When you are
face to face with pedestrians, keep to the right and decrease your speed.
• In addition to the above it is very important that you note the following: In case you
use your electric scooter on public roads or another place open to the public, you
may be at risk of being charged with unauthorized driving/ improper operation of vehi-
cles or transporters, and face monetary or regulatory penalties, even if you are in full
compliance with this safe driving guide. You must comply with any local and national
laws and regulations when using the electric scooter. Please also note that while you
are riding the scooter, you may also be injured by other vehicles as you would while
walking or cycling on public roads. As with all vehicles, the faster the electric scooter
is driving, the longer the brakes need to stop, and on some smooth surfaces the emer-
gency brakes can also cause the wheels to slip and lose balance or even causing
a fall. Therefore, it is important to be vigilant and maintain the proper speed during
driving, and to maintain a reasonable safety distance with other vehicles and transport
means. Please also be vigilant and drive at low speed before entering an unfamiliar
terrain. You must strictly follow the safety requirements of this manual for drivers in
countries and regions where there are no set national standards and regulations for
electric scooters. Alba or Alba UK shall not be held liable for any claims, personal
injury, accident, legal dispute, or any other adverse event that may arise due to failure
to follow or violation of the instructions set out in this manual.
• To prevent any injuries, do not lend your electric scooter to a person who has never
operated such a transporter before, unless they take the necessary precautions. If
you do lend your electric scooter, ensure your friend’s safety and instruct them to wear
the necessary protective equipment and take all safety precautions.
• Please check the electric scooter for each time before driving. If you nd that the
parts are loose, the battery life is obviously reduced, the tire is slow to leak or exces-
sive wear, turn to abnormal sound or malfunction, please stop using it immediately,
and do not driving force. And call your local distributor for professional guidance or
maintenance services.

9- MAINTENANCE
CLEANING AND STORAGE OF THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER
If there is a mark or smear in the body of the electric scooter, wipe it with a
soft cloth using a small amount of water. If it is difcult to clean, you can use a
toothbrush with toothpaste to scrub it and then use a damp cloth to clean it.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
1- Do not use other models or brands of batteries, as this may give rise to
safety risks.
2- Do not touch the battery contacts and do not open the battery compartment.
Do not touch metal objects to the battery contacts, which may cause a short
circuit or damage the battery, or cause personal injury.
3- Only use the original charger for charging, otherwise it may damage the
battery or cause a re.
4- Inappropriate disposal of used batteries may result in serious environmen-
tal pollution. Waste battery packs must be disposed in accordance with local
regulations. Do not disassembly or handle the battery pack by yourself.
WARNING
Do not use alcohol , gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive, volatile
solvents to clean, otherwise it will seriously damage the body and inter-
nal structure. Do not use pressurised water spray to clean. Make sure
that the charging cable is unplugged and the rubber cap has been
tightened when cleaning, otherwise it may cause an electric shock or
accident due to water intake.
Store the electric scooter and the battery in a cool and dry place as
much as possible,to extend their usable life.

DISC BRAKE MAINTENANCE
If you feel the brake is tight when you are riding, you can adjust the disc brake
by loosening the screw on the Rotary Knob with a M5 hex wrench (As shown
in the below pictures), turn the Rotary knob slightly towards the right and tight-
en the screw again with a M5 hex wrench. Conversely, if you feel the brake
is loose, you can turn the Rotary knob slightly towards the left after loosen-
ing the screw on the Rotary Knob with M5 hex wrench, and then tighten the
screw.
WARNING
It is forbidden to remove the battery pack by persons who are not ex-
pert professionals. Failure to do so may result in serious safety risks,
electrical faults and short-circuits, and cause your warranty to be void.
5- Do not place the battery in an environment with temperatures higher than
50° C or lower than -20° C (for example, do not leave the electric scooter or its
battery pack in the car for a long time in summer), as it may cause a malfunc-
tion or even a re risk.
