4.3.2 Deleting Contacts
a From the main menu, select Contacts.
b To delete a contact, highlight the contact
and press Options > Delete Contact;
to delete all contacts, press Options >

4.4 Making a Call from Your Contact List
a From the main menu, select Contacts.
b When the contact list screen displays,
highlight the contact you want to call and
press the key.
4.4.1 Searching for a Number in the
Contacts
a From the main menu, select Contacts.
b When the contact list screen displays, enter
the first few letters of the name to display. A
list of contacts appears based on the letters
you have entered.
c Scroll to the name you are looking for by
pressing the Up or Down Navigation key.
d Press the key to select the contact.
4.5 Speed Dial List
Once you have stored phone numbers to your
Contacts, you can set speed dial entries and
then dial them easily by pressing and holding the
corresponding numeric key.
4.5.1 Setting Up Speed Dial Entries
a From the main menu, select Contacts,
highlight a contact, select OPTIONS >
Settings > Speed Numbers.
b Enter the number with which you wish to
assign the speed-dialing number (from 2 to
99), press ASSIGN.
4.5.2 Changing a Number Assigned to a Key
a From the main menu, select Contacts,
highlight a contact, select OPTIONS >
Settings > Speed Numbers..
b Highlight the speed number you want to
change, select OPTIONS > Replace.
5 Entering Text
This section describes how to choose your pre-
ferred text input mode when entering characters.
5.1 Keypad Input
key:
Press: Insert smart punctuation.
Press and hold: Insert 1.
Navigation keys:
: Validate a letter/word.
Left/Right: Previous/next letter/word.
Up/Down: Page up/down.
Keypad:
Press: Alphabetic input (a, b, c).
Press and hold: Numeric input (1, 2, 3).
key:
Input "0" in numeric mode.
key:
Access the Symbols table when input mode is
not numeric.
5.2 Text Input Mode
Text mode allows you to choose between
T9Word,Abc, or Numeric modes.
When you are in a text entry field, press OPTIONS
> Text Mode toswitch between text input mode.
