The quiet and comfortable heating
MOTORHOME

Alde's hydronic heating system offers you unbeatable con-
venience. Along with even and quiet heating, you also get the
option of several smart and comfort-increasing solutions in your
motorhome. For example, what about our hydronic underfloor
heating, which makes your floor warm and comfortable even on
cold winter days. A heated towel rail in the bathroom gives you
lovely warm towels after your shower. Our unique solutions for
the driver's cabin increases your driving comfort and prevents
cold ingress during winter camping.
We have years of experience with motorhome heating systems,
and we are still developing our products to make life comfort-
able for you. This also applies to safety and the environment.
With a frost sensor on the boiler´s hot-water cylinder and heat-
ing around the water and sewage tanks you prevent unpleasant
surprises when the temperature falls below freezing. Our heat
exchangers interlink the vehicle's and boiler's heating systems
- allowing you to exploit the heating in both directions, giving
environmental, financial and energy benefits.
We use LPG as the main energy source in our heating systems.
LPG is not just highly efficient, it is also a green alternative, free
of particles, heavy metals, sulphur and other pollutants. Alde al-
lows you enjoy your comfort with a clearer conscience.

Nothing can compete with
hydronic heating
We develop our heating system in Scandiavia with its harsh, cold climate.
This requires products that are reliable and work fault-free in all sorts of
weather.
In our opinion, hydronic heating is the best heating technology. No irritating air
flows that draw in dust and dry out the air. No uncomfortable temperature fluctua-
tions with sudden cold when off. Just even and quiet heating that circulates using
self-convection techniques, building on the simple, physical law that hot air rises
and moves by itself. Smart and natural.
Apart from its unbeatable heating comfort the same space-saving system ef-
ficiently provides hot water for your shower and galley. The boiler is fitted with a
230 volt electric element cartridge that can be used separately or together with the
LPG. You can select the energy source automatically or manually to suit the occa-
sion - practical, efficient and environmentally sound.
The convectors that are located by the outer walls
heat the air. It then rises and heats up walls and
furnishings.
As the hot air rises, it forms an air barrier in front
of the windows, keeping the cold out. When the air
reaches the ceiling, it circulates down towards the
floor and is reheated by the convectors.

Digital control panel
If the boiler is the heart of the system, the digital
control panel is the brain. The control panel has
a user-friendly touch-screen menu with functions
for outdoor temperature, night-time mode, timed
starting, external starting, etc. This is where you set
desired temperatures and energy sources, and con-
nect and adjust the boiler’s extra functions. Read more about this on the

Boiler Alde Compact 3010
The boiler is the heart of the heating system.
It produces heat for both central heat-
ing and hot water. Thanks to
our ingenious and compact
construction, the boiler takes
up very little space. The boiler
is fuelled by LPG or electricity (230 V). It can also
be fuelled by both at the same time when you
need maximum power, e.g. when heating up a cold
motorhome in the winter.
Convectors and panel
radiators
The convectors are located along
the outer walls where they provide
heat and surround the interior
with a protective blanket of heat
that prevents draughts. They can be supplied in various
dimensions and designs. The integrated convectors are
often used in stowage spaces and stair risers. Flat panel
radiators can be supplied for spaces where it is very dif-
ficult to fit normal convectors, e.g. in WCs and wardrobes.
Tank heating
Alde’s tank heating protects your water and
sewage tanks against frost damage. There are several
alternative installations. Some involve convectors fitted
between the tanks, some a pipe loop under the tanks.
These are then connected to the ordinary heating system.
Fan-driven heat booster
The heat booster is used for rapid and direct heating in
the driver's cabin, or in wardrobes to dry wet clothes and
shoes, for example.
It can be supplied in various versions. The most powerful
model is a compact convector package with an efficient
rear-mounted fan.
The small model consists of a specially designed convector with a row of
small fans connected in series. In order to improve your motorhome's comfort
further, the fan-driven convector can be fitted in the floor behind the seats.
The upward-driven hot air then creates a heat barrier between the living
space and the driver's cabin. Saves energy and increases comfort!

Heated towel rail
The heated towel rail is a traditional design for the
practical hanging of towels. There are also models
that offer individual temperature regulation.
Frost protection
Frost protection is a drainage/safety valve that auto-
matically empties the hot water when there is a risk
of frost (around +3 °C). Also acts as a safety valve
against excess water pressure, and as a manual
drainage valve.
Hot water
The Alde Compact 3010 boiler contains a hot water
heater type that means there is always hot water
for the shower and galley. The boiler has a volume
of more than 8 litres, which gives 15 litres of mixed
shower water. In the summer, the boiler can be set
to only produce hot water.
Underfloor heating
In order to have a complete heating sys-
tem that offers maximum comfort we can
wholly recommend our underfloor heating.
It consists of pipe loops in the floor that
are connected to the normal heating
system. Diffusion plates spread the heat
evenly across the whole floor.
Driver’s comfort
To achieve comfort in and around
the driver and passenger seats,
there are purpose-designed
convectors that can be fitted to
Alde’s heating system. Other
alternatives are heating boosters
or fan-driven convectors.
Heat exchanger
With a heat exchanger
installed in our hydronic
central heating system,
the vehicle engine's
cooling system can be
exploited for heating
and hot water. The heat can also be run in
the opposite direction using a circulation
pump on the engine side, so acting as an
engine heater.

Functional control panel
The heating system is fitted with modern electronics that allow
you to control everything yourself or let the auto functions to
do nearly everything. For example, Compact 3010 knows
whether you are connected to the 230 volt supply, and then
prioritises that as the energy source.
The control panel is divided into three menu categories:
Information menu. This shows time, temperature and what is
connected to the Compact 3010.
Settings menu. This is where you set the basic settings for
heating, such as desired temperature, extra hot water and
energy selection.
Tools menu. This is where you can adjust and connect extra
functions to the Compact 3010.

Setting desired interior temperature
The temperature can be set from +5 °C to
+30 °C in 0.5 °C intervals.
Heating with the 230 V element.
Three power levels 1, 2 or 3 kW. The
higher the power level you use, the quicker
the heating.
LPG heating
The boiler is heated by the LPG burner. The
power is automatically controlled by the
heating requirement.
Extra hot water
If you need more hot water the boiler
can temporarily raise the hot water
temperature from 50 °C to 65 °C. After
30 minutes, the boiler returns to normal
operation. The circulation pump does
not run at this time.

Alde Compact 3010.
An ingenious boiler
Truly ingenious construction integrates both a central heating
system and hot water system in this space-saving boiler. Compact 3010 consists of three concentric cylinders. The LPG burner is in the centre. Outside of this is the cylinder for the heat-
ing fluid for the central heating, in which the electric elements are
fitted, and outside of this is the hot water cylinder. The two outer
cylinders are made from stainless steel and the burner chamber
is aluminium. The burner chamber is divided into two halves. The
burner is located in the upper half, which forms the burner com-
partment. The exhaust gasses are emitted from the lower half. To
one end is the burner housing, which consists of the burner fan,
burners, solenoid valve, air intake and exhaust connectors.

Efficient, economical and green
Alde heat exchangers combined with a hydronic central heat-
ing system provide both financial and environmental benefits.
Heat from the engine's cooling system is exploited by the heat
exchanger, for both heating of the motorhome and hot water to
the galley and shower.
The heat can also be run in the opposite direction using a circu-
lation pump on the engine side. So acting as an engine heater.
Here the central heating also heat up the engine's cooling system.
A good choice in winter weather when cold-starting the engine.
