Open the packaging and carefully remove the Grass Shear/Shrubber.
Check if the set is complete and undamaged. Make sure that the plastic
parts are not cracked and the cord is not damaged. If you nd that parts
are missing or damaged, do not use the device but contact customer
service at: 1800 505 8311. Keep the packaging or dispose of it in accor-
dance with local regulations.

For children's safety do not leave parts of the packaging (plastic bags,
cardboard, polystyrene etc.) that could cause suffocation!

The 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber is intended to trim
hedges, shrubs and grass in residential gardens.
Follow the instructions for safe use.
This product is intended for private use in the garden.
The 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber is not intended for
use in public places, parks, sports grounds, in agriculture and forestry.
Failure to use the 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber as
intended will result in warranty invalidation. The manufacturer does not
accept any liability in the event of damage caused by improper use.
7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber may be
dangerous when safety precautions are not followed.

Electrical safety
tTo reduce the risk of electrical shock charger plugs must match
the outlet. Double insulated tools are equipped with a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). The plug is designed to t into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t properly into the
outt, try reversing the plug - if it still does not t, you need to nd an
outlet that is polarized, or contact a qualied electrician to install a
polarized outlet.
tDon't modify the plug and don't use any plug adapters with earth
grounded charger. Double insulation eliminates the need for the three
wire grounded power cord and grounded power supply system.
- Avoid bodily contact with grounding services such as ranges,
refrigerators, pipes, radiators ; there is a higher risk of electrical

Before starting work
#FGPSFýSTUVTFGVMMZDIBSHFUIFCBUUFSZ6TFPOMZUIFPSJHJOBMDIBSHFSincluded in the set. When charging one red LED light is on, the remaining
LEDs are off.
1. Connect the power cord plug with the charger into the charging jack on
the 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber.
2. Plug the charger into an AC outlet. Make sure that the voltage of the
electrical outlet is compatible with technical requirements.
3. When charging, the green LED turns on.
4. The recommended charging time is 5 hours 30 minutes (completely
discharged battery). The battery is fully charged when three green LEDs
are on. The 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber is then ready
for use.
5. Once charged, rst remove the charger from an AC outlet and then
unplug the charger from the charging socket on the 7.2V lithium-ion
cordless garden shear/shrubber.
Caution! When charging, the ergonomic handle heats up. This is normal.

4. Slide the cover back in the direction away from the blades.
5. Remove the plastic cover from the blades.
Switching ON/OFF
1. To switch the 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber on, slide
the lock-off button (4) and push the ON/OFF switch at the same time (1).
2. Release the lock-off button (4).
3. To switch the 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden shear/shrubber off,
release the ON/OFF switch (1). After the 7.2V lithium-ion cordless garden
shear/shrubber is switched off, the blades keep moving for
some time. Wait until the blades stop completely. Do not touch the
moving blades and do not try to stop them. Risk of injury!
