equipment such as dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing pro-
tection used for appropriate conditions
will reduce personal injuries.

onto floor when operating
equipment. If spill occurs,
clean any fluid on floor before continuing
operation.

Safety *
Read and carefully observe these installation
instructions before installing/operating/
troubleshooting. Pump must be installed,
maintained and repaired exclusively by
persons familiar with these instructions.
Always disconnect power source (electric,
air or hydraulic) from equipment when not
being used.
This equipment generates high pressure.
Extreme caution should be used when
operating this equipment as material leaks
from loose or ruptured components can
inject fluid through skin and into body. If any
fluid appears to penetrate skin, seek
attention from a doctor immediately. Do not
treat injury as a simple cut. Tell attending
doctor exactly what type of fluid was injected.
Any other use not in accordance with
instructions will result in loss of claim for
warranty or liability.
• Do not misuse, over-pressurize, modify
parts, use incompatible chemicals, fluids,
or use worn and/or damaged parts.
• Do not exceed stated maximum
working pressure of equipment or of
lowest rated component in your system.
• Always read and follow manufacturer’s
recommendations regarding fluid
compatibility, and use of protective
clothing and equipment.
• Failure to comply may result in personal
injury and/or damage to equipment.

Model -C fluid evacuation system
provides a clean, safe way to evacuate
waste fluids.
System features a corrosion resistant
aluminum double diaphragm pump that
creates a powerful suction to evacuate waste
fluids and transfer them through an
enclosed system to a remote storage tank.
Model -C includes a pump for
transferring non-flammable fluids such
as used motor oil, coolant or
windshield cleaner.
System can evacuate used fluids from
rolling drain pans, portable oil drain
containers and differentials and transaxles.
Pump is air operated and can be mounted
on any convenient wall surface.
Additional hardware can be used to serve
multiple service stations.
Optional kits
Pump wall bracket kit  facilitates
mounting of diaphragm pump to wall or to
pole. Wall bracket is designed with hooks for
hanging suction hose when not in use.
Pump wall bracket is pre-drilled to facilitate
installation of  filter/regulator on its
side using  FRL wall bracket kit
included with diaphragm pump
evacuation kit. († Fig. IPB 1, page 6).

Installation
Depending on type of fluid to be evacuated,
fluid evacuation system installation and use
must be in accordance with flammable and
combustible liquids code (NFPA ) and
automotive and marine service station code
(NFPA A) and must comply with all local
state and federal codes.
Also, the United States Government safety
standards have been adopted under the
Occupational Safety and Health Act. These
standards should be consulted, particularly
the General Standards, Part , and the
Construction Standard, Part .
Maintenance
DANGER
Do not operate or service machine prior
to ensuring it has been properly
grounded. System must be grounded to
reduce risk of static electrical parking.
Refer to local, state and federal electrical
codes for detailed grounding
instructions.
Failure to comply will result in death
or serious personal injury.
Installation and maintenance
WARNING
• Make sure pump and equipment used
or located in pumping area are
grounded.
• Do not use system if any static
sparking or electrical shock occurs.
Stop evacuation immediately and do
not use system until problem is
corrected.
• Do not alter or modify any part of this
equipment.
• Do not attempt to repair or
disassemble equipment while system
is operating.
• Make sure all connections are
securely tightened before using
equipment.
• Check all equipment regularly and
repair or replace worn or damaged
parts immediately.
• Never place your hand on or near
pump suction inlet.

personal injury and/or damage to
equipment.

