SAFETY PRECAUTIONS EN
• This equipment is for professional use only.
• Do not leave the hose to coil unattended.
• Ensure that the pressure does not exceed maximum working pressure
of the lowest rated system component.
• To assure the function of the hose reel, it is important to choose a
model that is compatible with the uid and pressure.
• Release the pressure inside the reel before servicing.
• The spring is always under great tension. Always contact your supplier
or service centre to change the spring.
• Fluids under pressure can cause serious injury.
GENERAL EN
Heavy duty hose reel, high volume automatic rewind open hose reel for air,
water or oil, model ORL, are made of moulded steel and are electrostatic
powder painted. The rewinding of the hose is achieved by a steel spring
incorporated in the drum. The desired length of hose is locked by an

ALLMÄNT SE
Mycket kraftig automatisk slangupprullare för stora volymer av luft, vatten
eller olja, modell ORL, är tillverkade av pressad plåt som pulverlackerats.
Slangen dras in i rullen av en stålfjäder. Den önskade slanglängden stoppas
med en automatisk låsmekanism. Denna låsmekanism frigörs genom att

To ensure the performance of the hose reel it is important to use the correct
model for the uid distributed at a pressure and temperature as indicated.
We decline any responsibility for malfunctions or danger resulting from use
of the wrong hose assembly or miss use.
INSTALLATION EN
The hose reel can be installed directly on the xing surface in the ceiling,
on the wall or on the oor. For ceiling, wall or column mounted reel, the
minimum recommended height is 2.5 m (8 feet).
MOVING THE HOSE GUIDE ARM EN
The hose reel guide arms can be mounted in seven different positions.
Among these positions, the most usual are, oor, ceiling, wall (g 1).
IMPORTANT! Don’t try to change the guide arms position without ha-
ving the reel placed on a horizontal support surface (oor, workbench,
etc.).
To change the position of these guide arms, loosen and remove the screws
(1) on both arms. This will loosen both the spool and arms from the frame.
Position the arms in the desired position and refasten the screws.
To change the position of the hose stopper, take out the hose and let it the
ratchet lock it suitable position. Loosen the screws on the hose stopper and
adjust to a new position and tighten the screws.
MAINTENACE EN
Before carrying out any kind of maintenance, close the nearest shut off
valve and open the dispensing valve to release any pressure in the hose.
The reel spring is under very high tension and can cause serious injury if
released, therefore do not attempt to service the spring inside the reel..

INSTALLATION SE
Slangrullen kan installeras direkt på monteringsytan både i tak, på vägg och
på golv. För montage i tak eller på vägg/ pelare rekommenderas en
min höjd på 2.5 m.
ÄNDRA ARMENS POSITION SE
Slangrullens utloppsarmar kan monteras i sju olika positioner, de vanligaste
är, enligt (g 1) golv, vägg, tak.
Viktigt! Ändra aldrig armarnas läge utan att först ha placerat slangru-
llen på en stadig horisontell yta (golv, arbetsbänk eller liknande).
För att ändra läget på utloppsarmarna, lossa skruvarna (1) på bägge sidor.
Armarna och slangtrumman är nu lossade från ramen. Montera tillbaka
armarna i önskat läge.
För att ytta slangstoppet, dra ut slangen till passande spärrläge. Lossa
slangstoppet, ytta det till önskad position och fäst det.
UNDERHÅLL SE
Innan något underhåll utförs på slangrullen ska närmsta ventil stängas och
utlopps ventilen öppnas för att släppa ut trycket i slangen. Utför aldrig någon
service på fjädern i rullen då den är väldigt spänd och kan orsaka allvarliga
skador vid olycka.

HOSE REPLACEMENT EN
Warning! Before removing the hose, close the nearest shut off valve to the
reel and open the uid control gun to release the pressure inside the hose.
1. Make sure the reel is rmly attached. Take the hose fully out and let
the ratchet lock the spool in position.
NOTE! Make sure the spool doesn’t get loose and start turning freely.
2. Remove the U-bolt by loosening it nuts (1) and disconnect the hose
from the swivel (2 g 4).
3. Take away the hose from the reel and remove the hose stop to use on
the new hose.
4. Connect the new hose to the swivel. Place the U-bolt in such a way
that it rmly holds the hose against the spool, and pull the hose in
order to unlock the ratchet.
5. Allow the hose to slowly wind into the spool and ensure to nish with
the whole hose inside the reel and the power spring with no tension (in
such a way that the spool does not try to turn).
6. Apply the pre-tension to the power spring by turning the spool the
number of turns indicated below, depending on the power spring
version and the hose length:

7. Pass the hose end through the roller outlet to the desired length, lock
the spool with the ratchet in the nearest position and place the hose
stopper.
8. Fully unwind and rewind the hose to make sure the power spring is
correctly tensioned.
SPRING LOAD ADJUSTMENT EN
1. Uncoil the hose and latch it at the closest latching position. Remove
the hose stop and pull the hose to release the latch.
2. Let the hose go back in through the hose rollers and allow the reel to
rotate slowly until the spring tension is released.
WARNING! Be careful so that the reel does not begin to spin freely.
3. Rotate the reel to either increase or decrease the spring tension (Fig
5).
4. Pass the hose end through the roller outlet to the desired length, lock
the spool with the ratchet in the nearest position and place the hose
stopper.
5. Fully unwind and rewind the hose to make sure the power spring is
correctly tensioned.
BYTE AV SLANG SE
Viktigt! Innan slangen monteras bort: stäng den från rullen sett närmaste
ventilen samt öppna handventilen för att släppa på trycket i slangen.
1. Se till att rullen sitter ordentligt monterad. Dra ut slangen helt och låt
den låsas av spärren. OBS! Se till så att trumman inte börjar snurra
fritt!
2. Ta bort u-bulten genom att lossa muttrarna (1) och ta loss slangen från
sviveln (2 g 4).
3. Ta bort slangen från rullen och ta loss slangstoppet som ska användas
på den nya slangen.
4. Montera den nya slangen på sviveln och lås fast den med u-bulten så
slangen ligger stadigt.
5. Dra ut slangen så att spärren släpper och låt slangen långsamt rulla
upp på trumman. Rotera trumman till dess att slangen är helt upprullad
och fjädern ospänd (så att trumman inte snurrar av sig själv).
6. Förspänn fjädern genom att snurra trumman (g 5) de antal varv som
visas nedan, vilket är beroende av modell och slanglängd:

7. För slangänden genom utloppsrullarna till lämplig längd, lås den med
spärren i närmaste läge och sätt fast slangstoppet.
8. Testa att fjäderspänningen är korrekt genom att dra ut slangen helt
och låta den gå tillbaka.
JUSTERING AV FJÄDERNS SPÄNNING SE
1. Dra ut och spärra slangen vid första spärrläget. Montera bort
slangstoppet och dra försiktigt i slangen för att frigöra spärren.
2. Släpp försiktigt tillbaka slangen in i rullen och snurra upp överskottet
på trumman.
OBS! Släpp inte taget så att slangen rullar fritt in i rullen.
3. Rotera trumman för att antingen spänna eller släppa på fjäderns
spänning (g. 5).
4. Dra ut slangen genom slangstyrningen och återmontera slangstoppet.
5. Kontrollera att slangen kan rullas ut helt och hållet utan att fjädern “går
i botten” samt utan att fastna i ett låst läge. Om det inträffar måste jus-
teringen göras om så att slangen kan frigöras även i sitt yttersta läge.

LATCH REPLACEMENT EN
1. With the hose fully coiled to the spool and the hose stopper touching
the outlet rollers, remove the screws (1) (Fig.6).
2. Unscrew the latch shaft (2) and remove the latch assembly.
3. Clean the latch components or replace if necessary and assemble in
reverse order.
4. Make sure that the latch operates correctly.
vSWIVEL REPLACEMENT EN
1. IMPORTANT! Ensure that the media supply is shut off and the hose is
depressurised before you begin the swivel replacement.
2. With the hose completely coiled, disconnect the inlet hose (1) from the
reel shaft adaptor and the distribution hose (2) from the swivel (Fig. 7).
3. Loosen the nut (3) and remove it from the reel shaft adaptor.
4. Remove the screws (4) and the arm (5).
5. Remove the swivel and replace it with the new one. Make sure that the
seals are placed correctly inside the swivel (Fig. 8) and that they are
lubricated.
6. Reassemble the parts in reverse order and reconnect the inlet hose
and distribution hose.
BYTE AV SPÄRR SE
1. Med slangen helt upprullad på rullen och slangstoppet ända emot
utloppsrullarna, skruva loss skruvarna (1) (g. 6).
2. Skruva loss spärraxeln (2) och avlägsna spärrsatsen.
3. Rengör spärren, byt de delar som är slitna eller skadade och montera
i omvänd ordning.
4. Förvissa dig om att spärren fungerar ordentligt genom att vrida rullen
så att spärren låser trumman
BYTE AV SVIVEL SE
1. VIKTIGT! Säkerställ att försörjningsledningen är avstängd och att
slangen inte är trycksatt innan byte av svivel påbörjas.
2. Med slangen helt upprullad, lossa inkopplingsslangen (1) från axela-
daptern och utloppsslangen (2) från sviveln (g. 7).
3. Lossa på muttern (3) och avlägsna den från axeladaptern.
4. Avlägsna skruvarna (4) och armen (5).
5. Ta loss sviveln och byt ut den mot en ny. Kontrollera att packningarna
är rätt positionerade inne i sviveln (g. 8) och att de är smorda.
6. Montera delarna i omvänd ordning och anslut inkopplingsslangen
respektive utloppsslangen.
