The Alerta Transfer Commode Chair has a 19 stone capacity and comes with drop-down
armrests, swing away detachable footrests, arm pads, braked rear castors and pushing handle
for easy mobility. The seat is 46cm wide and 53cm high.
Assembling Commode
1. Before assembling seat, allow toilet seat to reach room temperature if exposed to cold. This
will help prevent the seat clamps from cracking while being assembled onto commode.
2. Insert back support into frame.
3. To drop arm, depress the release button on arm and gently allow to drop until it reaches
the arm stop.
4. Align the toilet seat clamps onto the back frame rail. Push down on seat until the clamps
snap firmly into place.
5. When removing the seat, grasp the back of the seat and lift.
6. Install commode bucket by placing into the bucket frame. Reverse action to remove.

Care & Precaution
1. Toilet seat must be in the down position before use. Failure to do so may result in breakage
of commode and possible injury.
2. Do not install commode without first reading and understanding the assembly instructions.
3. Inspect all parts for damage before installing. If there is any damage, do not use and
contact supplier.
4. Ensure all screws, nut and/or bolts are tightened securely.
5. Users with limited physical strength should be supervised or assisted while using this
commode.
