1. INTRODUCTION
Dear consumer,
Company ALFA IN a.s. thanks you for buying our product and believe that
you ill be satisfied ith our machine.
Welding machine may be operated only by trained persons and only in the
technical provisions. Company ALFA IN a.s. accept no responsibility for
damage caused by improper use. Before commissioning please read
carefully this manual .
The machine complies ith the appropriate CE mark.
For maintenance and repairs, use only original spare parts. There is of course
a complex of our services.
Welding machine aXe 320 double pulse is designed for MIG / MAG
continuous and pulse, MMA and gouging. By the machine aXe 320 double
pulse you can eld different types of connections (butt, single-sided, double-
sided, fillet, lap, etc.) using ire from diameter 0.8 to 1.2 respectively to 1.6
mm of different metals and alloys (carbon and alloy steels, aluminum alloys,
etc.). They are designed primarily to medium and large industrial facilities
here are high demands on ease of use, reliability and productivity ith
prolonged use.
Welding machines aXe 320 double pulse are available in:
1. aXe 320 double pulse COMPACT (Gas or H2O, HIGHT SPEED
option) compact elding machine and the option of a ater cooled
torch
2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Use and maintenance of elding and cutting machines can be
dangerous. Please dra user´s attention to follo the safety precau-
tions to avoid injuries. Welding and cutting machines must be used
appropriate and only by specialist staff. Please inform yourself
constantly about the valid safety precautions and regulations of
accident prevention by orking ith this machine*.
2. Remove all flammable material from the elding area for fire prevention
before elding.
3. Do not eld at containers hich ere filled up before ith flammable
materials (fuel).
4. All inflammable material in the elding area hich could be inflamed by
sparks must be removed.
5. Check after elding the place conforming UVV.
6. Do not expose the unit to rain, steam and do not spray ater in it.

7. Do not eld ithout protection shield. Keep attention to protect other
persons in the elding area against arc-rays.
8. Please use absorbers or other systems to absorb the gases.
9. It is not possible to absorb all the gases correctly please use a
breathing apparatus.
10. Stop operation immediately at a defect or damaging of the mains
cable. Do not touch the cable. Unplug the unit before each service or
repair. Do not use the machine if the mains cable is defect.
11. Place an extinguisher near the elding area.
12. Check the elding area against fire after elding.
13. Never try to repair a defect pressure reducer. Replace the defect
one.
14. Keep attention to connect the ground cable near the elding
location. Welding current through chains, ball-bearing or steel-cables
may destruct or melt it.
15. Secure yourself and the unit at higher or inclinational places.
16. Connect the unit only at mains ith correct connection to
ground/earth and at prolongations and sockets too.
17. Wear correct protective clothing, gloves and leather apron.
18. Protect the elding area ith curtains or mobile alls against
rays.
19. Do not tha frozen aterpipes or conductions ith this unit.
20. In high electrical risk areas (in confined spaces) it is only allo ed
to use machines ith –sign S.
21. S itch off the machine at breaks and close the valve of the gas
cylinder.
22. Secure the gas cylinder ith a chain against falling over.
23. Please take off the gas cylinder from the machine for trans-
portation.
24. Disconnect the plug from the mains before changing the elding
area or repairs at the machine.

country.
UNIT PROTECTION
1. This unit is protected electronically against overloading.
2. Close the side lid before elding.
3. Connect the orkpiece ith the groundcable to the unit.
4. Remove elding spatter from the inside of the gas nozzle ith a special
pair of pliers. Spray ith anti spatter spray inside the gas nozzle to
avoid adherence of spatters. Spray sloping to avoid the obstruction of
the gasoutlet.
5. At transportation of the unit only use the purposed transportation
facilities, do not use a fork-lift truck or something similar.

EMISSION OF SOUND
The sound level of the unit is smaller as 70 dB (A) measured at standard load
conforming EN 60 974 at the max. orkpoint.
ELEKTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC)
1. This product is manufactured conform to the current EMV standard.
Please notice follo ing items:
2. The unit is for elding under commercial or industrial conditions. The
use in other surroundings (for example in residential areas) may disturb
other electric devices.
3. During elding electromagnetic problems can be caused at:
a) Mains cables, control cables, connections for telecommunication
b) TV/Radio
c) Computer and other similar devices
d) Protection devises as for example alarm systems
e) Pacemakers and hearing aids
f) Devices for measure and calibrate
g) Devices ith less protection against disturbances
4. If other devices are disturbed it may be necessary to protect
additionally.
5. The affected area can be bigger than your premises/ property depends
of the building etc.
6. Please use the unit conform to the instructions of the manufacturer. The
user is responsible for installation and use of the machine. Furthermore
the user is responsible to eliminate the disturbances caused by
electromagnetic fields.

6. GETTING STARTED
TORCH INSTALATION
1. Never connect the torch in the machine if it’s still running!
2. Connect the EURO connector male 2 to EURO connector 1. Then,
connect Quick connector torch W (red) 6 to the Quick connector W
(red) 4 and the Quick connector torch W (blue) 7 to the Quick
connector W (blue) 5
3. When connecting a gas-cooled torch, it is necessary to interconnect the
quick connectors ith ater hose of the hydraulic circuit. If this
condition is not met, it may result in damage to the pump.

EARTHING CABLE CONNECTION
1. Connect the quick connector of the earthing cable C1 to the quick
connector located on the machine C3 (-), secure it thoroughly by turning
it clock ise. Attach the earthing clamp to eldment C2.
EARTHING CLAMP CONNECTION
1. Attach the earthing clamp near the eld. It is important to ensure that
the connection ith orkpiece is as strong as possible.

 Do not place the earthing clamp on the elding machine or a gas bottle!
 Firmly connect the earthing clamp to eldment or elding table.
CONNECTING TO POWER SUPPLY
1. Plug the po er plug into the all socket. Circuit breakers must conform
to the technical dates of the machine.
INSERTING THE WIRE
1. Open the side cover of the ire feeder space
2. Put the ire spool on the ire spool holder D1 using the adapter D3
and fix it ith the fixing nut D2
3. Cut off the curved or damaged end of elding ire and lead it through
the inlet liner E3, and the roll into the liner inside the EURO torch
connector (about 5 cm). Make sure, that you use the suitable groove.
4. Put the pressure arm E2 do n in that ay, that the teeth or the gear fit
and fix it by setting the lever E1 into vertical position.
5. Adjust the pressure nut that ay that it provides constant movement of
ire but it does not deform ire.

GAS FLOW
1. Place the gas cylinder on the platform and fix it properly by the fixing
chain. We recommend using bolts and nuts to fix it more safely.
2. Connect the pressure reduction valve on the gas cylinder.
3. Connect the gas hose to gas outlet F8 on the valve and the gas inlet F9
on the machine
4. Open the F2 cylinder valve
5. Press the button Gas test T23 for more then 4 s
6. Adjust the amount of gas on the reduction gas valve (it is not a part of
the elding machine) by the F7 adjusting scre

AD USTING THE MACHINE FOR WELDING OF ALUMINIUM
1. Replace the rollers G2 for rollers G2 ith U-profile of the groove (for AL
elding)
2. Loosen the nut G5 on EURO connector
3. Replace the torch used on steel for aluminum torch or at least replace
the liner for Liner tefl. G6.
4. Replace the capillary from the EURO connector G1.
5. Cut end of the teflon liner G6 so that it is near the rollers.
6. Thread the end of the teflon liner ith sustainpipe for teflon and plastic
liner G7 for stabilization.
7. Put the torch on the EURO connector G1 and insert the ire.

8. STRUCTURE OF MENU
Menu is divided into three levels.
1ST LEVEL
The menu sho s the setting of the most important elding parameters
(or synergic settings) relative to the selected elding process.

2ND LEVEL
For each process selection the menu sho s the "secondary" elding
parameters that can be modified ith respect to their synergic values.
If the type of ire, gas, or diameter is changed ithin a elding process,
the second level parameters return to their default values.
The changed parameters remain saved for the relative process selection
(manual, synergic, pulsed synergic, double pulsed synergic MIG/MAG ).
To save and retrieve the changes made, utilise the JOBs storage procedure.
Acronym of the selected welding
process.
MAT: This parameter sets the
material of the welding wire
utilised.
GAS: This parameter sets the
type of gas utilised for welding.
Name of loaded JOB. When the indicator is “→” the parameter value can e modified.
The value is saved automatically.
After pressing the torch trigger or after 10 seconds without any
commands, the indicator switches to “:“.
To reactivate the parameter value editing function press one of the
following uttons:
SYN: This code indicates that parameters control is synergic.
MAN:
This code indicates that parameters control is manual.
Ø: This parameter sets the
diameter of the wire utilised for
welding procedures.

3RD LEVEL
The menu contains the settings and values that are changed infrequently and
are to be set up the first time the unit is po ered up.
The changed parameters remain saved until the next modification or reset of
the unit.

9. JO S MANAGEMENT
Personalised elding settings, or JOBs, can be saved in memory locations
and subsequently uploaded.
Up to 99 jobs can be saved (j01-j99).
The settings of the SETUP menu are not saved.

The names of unassigned jobs are “-“ by default after a space
follo ing the number corresponding to the
memory location.
