The handing switch needs to be put in the
direction the latch bolt is sliding when looking at
the inside of your door. ie: if your latch bolt
extends out on the left side of your door when
standing inside looking at the door, then the
Handing switch should be set to the "L" position"

Measure your door's door prep, if you have a 1-1/2" (38mm) hole, please refer to the separate guide included "Instructions for doors
with 1-1/2" (38mm) holes". If you have a standard 2-1/8" (54mm) prep please proceed to step 1 below. If you have a brand new door
with no hole, please use provided template to properly prep your new door using a 2-1/8" hole saw.

Step 3. Step 4 (OPTIONAL): If you're not installing the Door Position
Sensor, please skip to step #7.
To install the Door Position Sensor, use the provided template
to align with your existing door prep holes. Once you have
aligned the template, take note of the designated area for the
Door Position Sensor and make a mark on your door so you
know where to place the Door Position Sensor in the next step.
Make sure to return latch bolt to the unlocked position
before moving forward.
NOTE: The Door Position Sensor should be closely aligned with the edge of
your door edge, but not so far over that it will hit the door frame when
opening or closing the door.

Installing door sensor
Step 5a (OPTIONAL): If you’re not installing door
position sensor, skip this step and go to step 7.
Once the location of door position sensor is decided in
step 4, peel off the red sticker on the back of the door
position sensor and attach directly onto the door.
Step 5b (OPTIONAL): Once the location of door
position sensor is decided in step 4, peel off the red
sticker on the back of the door position sensor and
attach directly onto the door. On the door position
sensor, push the tab on the side to open the cover and
mount the sensor onto the door with two ST3*8 screws.

Installation
Step 6 (OPTIONAL): If you're not installing door
position sensor, skip this step.
Attach the magnet onto the door frame for the door
position sensor, using either the sticker or the two
screw holes. Sensor and magnet must not be more
than 10mm (3/8”).

Step 7: Hold the outside panel with Keypad flush to
your door and align tailpiece and cable with door hole
prep. Pass Cable through door UNDER latch bolt.
The Top Post is OPTIONAL. The extra
3rd post is used for additional
security, or when a door is weak or
warped. The Top Post can be easily
installed by screwing it into the back
of the front panel assembly and
tightening with a pair of pliers.
Note: An additional hole is required to
be drilled in your door, Please follow
Install template to determine its
location for proper alignment. Again
this step is completely optional.

Step 8: Position the inside mounting plate and gasket by
first routing the cables and connectors through the
mounting plate’s cable holes.
Step 9: Secure both assemblies using (2) BM4 Bolts (and
(1) #8-32 screw if using optional 3rd Post) making sure
that the outside panel is vertically aligned on your door.
Tighten securely with a #2 Philips screwdriver.
Step 10: Take the inside panel. Make sure the tailpiece is
in the horizontal position.
Step 11: Attach cable assembly to the inside panel PCB
by lining up notches on top of cable connector to slots on
PCB connector.Press connector in firmly using thumbs
until completely seated.
NOTE: Tail piece must be in the horizontal position when
properly when properly installed
NOTE: Make sure Front panel cable is routed below latch bolt before
Routing cable through mounting plate. If Optional Door Position cable
is installed, make sure cable is routed between the door and the
mounting plate and exits through top cable whole as illustrated.
NOTE: BM4 bolts and 8-32 Screw included in 2 different lengths for use on
different door thicknesses. Use the appropriate length to securely tighten the
bolts for a snug fit on your door.
NOTE: Door Position
Sensor wire should sit
in the cut out slot on
the side of the gasket.
