4. Install the driver-side, nudge bar mounting
bracket
XLT Model (1 x Tow Hook, 1 x Mount)
Same process as passenger side
Sport Model (2 x Tow Hooks)
Same process as passenger side
5. Fit nudge bar to mount plates
a) Lift nudge bar into position, align nudge bar
mounting holes with holes in steel mounting
brackets. Fit 4 x M10 bolts with flat washers,
spring washers and nuts
b) Align nudge bar with vehicle and tighten the M10
bolts (use an 16mm socket)
Note: Torque setting for M10 bolts = 44Nm
6. Re-fit sump guard
Re-fit the 4 x bolts
Note: Torque setting for M10 bolts = 44Nm
7. Option 1 - Plastic skirt not re-fitted
Re-fit the two M6 screws, these hold the bumper to the chassis and are located 2nd from
outside. The plastic skirt and the eight M5 screws are no longer required
Note: Torque setting for M6 bolts = 9Nm
Option 2 - Cut slots in plastic skirt and re-fit (as described & shown below)
a) Mark the 1st cut line (passenger & driver side) 25mm from the centre of the threaded hole,
on the inside (this cut is 20mm inside from the steel nut clip). Mark a line straight down the
plastic and stop at the moulded line
b) Mark the 2nd cut line, 25mm inside from the first line and parallel to the 1st line. The marked
slots should be 25mm wide and approximately 70mm deep
c) Use a saw and cut out the slots
