Fitting this product involves numerous steps. It is important that each step is followed sequentially,
and each step completed accurately. We recommend reading the entire instructions prior to
installing this product
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the plastic skirt
Remove 10 x screws (use a 8mm socket)
Note: Eight screws have a 5mm thread &
two have a 6mm thread

2. Remove the sump guard
Remove 4 x bolts (use a 15mm socket)
Note: The back bolts do not need to be fully
removed
XLT & Sport Model
3. Install the passenger-side, nudge bar mounting
bracket
a) Remove the M6 bolt that secures the intercooler
plastic shroud (use a 8mm socket)
b) Remove the rear tow hook mounting bolt (use a
15mm socket)
c) Unscrew front bolt, enough to allow tow hook to
come off rubber mount and swing to one side
(this gives access to rubber intercooler mount)
Note: Front bolt is almost removed

d) Remove the rubber mount from bottom of
intercooler
e) Slide the 4mm spacer (P029) onto the
intercooler, then refit the rubber mount
f) Ensure intercooler top mount is in its top hole,
swing the tow hook back into its original position.
Slide the passenger nudge bar mounting bracket
into position (mount is sandwiched between the
chassis and the tow hook). Refit the rear tow
hook bolt and tighten both M12 bolts
Note: Torque setting for M12 bolts = 77Nm
g) Refit the M6 bolt that secures the intercooler
plastic shroud
Note: Torque setting for M6 bolts = 9Nm

4. Install the driver-side, nudge bar mounting
bracket
XLT Model (1 x Tow Hook, 1 x Mount)
Same process as passenger side
Sport Model (2 x Tow Hooks)
Same process as passenger side
5. Fit nudge bar to mount plates
a) Lift nudge bar into position, align nudge bar
mounting holes with holes in steel mounting
brackets. Fit 4 x M10 bolts with flat washers,
spring washers and nuts
b) Align nudge bar with vehicle and tighten the M10
bolts (use an 16mm socket)
Note: Torque setting for M10 bolts = 44Nm
6. Re-fit sump guard
Re-fit the 4 x bolts
Note: Torque setting for M10 bolts = 44Nm
7. Option 1 - Plastic skirt not re-fitted
Re-fit the two M6 screws, these hold the bumper to the chassis and are located 2nd from
outside. The plastic skirt and the eight M5 screws are no longer required
Note: Torque setting for M6 bolts = 9Nm
Option 2 - Cut slots in plastic skirt and re-fit (as described & shown below)
a) Mark the 1st cut line (passenger & driver side) 25mm from the centre of the threaded hole,
on the inside (this cut is 20mm inside from the steel nut clip). Mark a line straight down the
plastic and stop at the moulded line
b) Mark the 2nd cut line, 25mm inside from the first line and parallel to the 1st line. The marked
slots should be 25mm wide and approximately 70mm deep
c) Use a saw and cut out the slots

Passenger side cut-out for XLT & Sport
Driver side cut-out for XLT (Note: Sport driver side is the same as passenger side)
d) Re-fit the plastic skirt using the two M6 screws and the eight M5 screws, the M6 screws
hold the bumper to the chassis and are located 2nd from outside
Note: Torque setting for M5 screws = 5Nm
M6 screws = 9Nm
NOTES:
•Check that the kit contents are complete and undamaged prior to installation. Kit contents
must be replaced with specified accessory components.
•Do not attach the bar to the vehicle using anchorages not intended for this purpose.
•Do not use the bar for any vehicle other than those specified by the bar manufacturer.
•Do not remove labels from the bar.
•Do not modify the structure of the bar in any way.
•We recommend that a rust preventative is applied where holes are drilled.
•The use of an alloy polish such as ‘Auto Sol’ is recommended for extra shine, however hot
soapy water will also clean well.
