Entering Programming Mode
For programming finisher parameters, it is necessary
to enter the Programming Mode.
How to Enter Programming Mode
1. Press the START and STOP keypads
simultaneously and turn finisher on.
2. The temperature display shows the value of the
first parameter to set, while the speed display
shows a letter or a number that identifies the
parameter. The temperature display blinks to
indicate that the value is ready to be changed.
3. Press the Display Preset Temperature keypad
(SET) until the desired option appears in the
temperature display.

Programming Control
This section offers a detailed description of all 7
options available to program.
Each description includes instructions on how to
program the option.
For more advanced users, a quick reference list of the
options available through the programming mode is in
<$elemtext<$elemtextTable 1<$elemtext.
Temperature Measurement Unit
This option allows the owner to select whether the
temperature will be displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
How to Program Temperature Measurement Unit
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current setting is shown on the Temperature
display, while “U” is shown on the Speed display.
Available values: °C / °F
Default value: °C
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.
Maximum Preset Temperature
This option allows the owner to set the maximum
value the user may select when selecting an operating
temperature.
How to Program Maximum Preset Temperature
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “M” is shown on the Speed
display.
Default value: 180 °C (356°F)
Parameter range: 1 - 180 °C (34 - 356 °F)
Precision: 1°C (1.8°F)
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.
Operating Temperature
This option allows the owner to set the operating
temperature.
How to Program Operating Temperature
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “r” is shown on the Speed display.
Default value: 130 °C (266°F)
Parameter range: 1 - 180 °C (34 - 356 °F)
Precision: 1°C (1.8°F)
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.

How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.
Temperature Regulation Hysteresis
(Variance)
This option allows the owner to define the hysteresis
(variance) for the temperature regulation.
How to Program Temperature Regulation
Hysteresis (Variance)
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “H” is shown on the Speed
display.
Default value: 2 °C
Parameter range: 1- 5 °C (2 - 9 °F)
Precision: 1°C (1.8°F)
NOTE: With electrical heating by two resistor
groups, the hysteresis (variance) only affects the
second group, while the first is controlled in the
usual manner.
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.
Temperature for Automatic
Shut-down
This option allows the owner to set the maximum shut-
down temperature of the machine.
How to Program Temperature for Automatic Shut-
down
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “0” is shown on the Speed display.
Default value: 80 °C (176°F)
Parameter range: 1 - 180 °C (34 - 356 °F)
Precision: 1°C (1.8°F)
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.
Heating Type
This option allows the owner to establish whether the
heating is electrical or by gas/steam.
How to Program Heating Type
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “C” is shown on the Speed
display.
Default value: EL (Electrical)
Available values: EL (Electrical) or
GAS (Gas/Steam)
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.

Number of Resistor Groups
Installed
This option allows the owner to set the number of
heating resistor groups installed on the finisher.
NOTE: This parameter is only displayed if the
electrical heating type (EL) was selected for the
Heating Type option.
How to Program Number of Resistor Groups
Installed
1. Control must be in Programming Mode. Refer to
Entering Programming Mode section.
2. The current value is shown in the Temperature
Display, while “n” is shown on the Speed display.
Default value: 2
Available values: 1 or 2
3. Press the Increase Preset Temperature keypad (+)
or Decrease Preset Temperature keypad (–) to
change the set value.
4. Press Display Preset Temperature keypad (SET)
to confirm the current value and proceed to the
next parameter.
5. When pressing SET after setting last parameter
(Number of Resistor Groups Installed), the first
parameter (Temperature Measurement Unit) is
shown again.
NOTE: The setting of the last parameter is only
stored if you have confirmed it by pressing SET
before leaving the parameter setting mode.
How to Exit Programming Mode
To exit Programming Mode, press STOP keypad or
turn finisher off and on.

Resetting Parameters
If needed, the owner may reset the parameters to
standard values.
1. Press START and SET keypads simultaneously
to activate standard values.
2. The Temperature display shows "Pr" to confirm
the command and the control will remain in this
mode and will not be activated.
To return to the normal working condition, turn the
finisher off and on again.
The Default Parameter Values are listed in Table
2<$elemtext.
