•removable for service or replacement
*One of the tie-down points on the trailer is
also a part of the drawbar. The tie-down loop
allows the trailer to be secured with chains or
straps when loaded on a truck for transport
to a remote work site.

When required by local electrical codes:
1. Remove the grounding rod from the
mounting clip located on the right
side panel directly to the left of the
generating set.
2. Drive the ground rod into the earth.
3. Fasten the green ground wire to the
grounding lug located on the outside
front left of the trailer enclosure.

CAPTIVE PINS
The pins that hold the
outriggers in place when
extended or in the tow
position, and the pins that
hold the tower in place in
either the tow or upright
position, are integral to the
trailer and, unlike the spring
clip safety pins used on many
other light towers, cannot be
readily lost or damaged.

WINCH HANDLE ON SIDE OF ENCLOSURE - LAYDOWN
*Unlike most other light towers with the winch on the drawbar, the operator is safely
out of the path of the tower as it is being raised or lowered, minimizing the possibility of
injury in the event of a cable or winch failure.

WALK-AROUND
Automatically secures the tower in
vertical position.
To lower, pull and hold the spring
pin while operating the manual
winch until it is clear of the latch
plate.
The tower can then be fully lowered
to the horizontal position and
secured with the rear tower support
latch.
