Place vest around patient’s chest while
in seated position.
• Adjust the top strap and secure the buckle
• Adjust the bottom strap and secure the buckle
• Gently bring the leg straps underneath and up
between the patient’s legs.
• Based upon the size of the upper thigh of the patient,
choose either the lower buckle or upper buckle and
secure each leg strap. Do not criss cross the straps.
Use only a single layer of clothing or gown- remove all other layers before placement.
