The Eisblock GPX graphics card cooler is
shipped fully assembled. In order to install
your graphics card, remove the screws and
take the back plate (plexi version) off.
Der Eisblock GPX Grafi kkartenkühler wird
komplett montiert ausgeliefert. Um Ihre
Grafi kkarte einzusetzen, entfernen Sie
zunächst die Schrauben und nehmen Sie die
Backplate (PlexiVersion) ab.
Le refroidisseur pour carte graphique
Eisblock GPX est livrée prêt à emploi. Afi n
d’installer votre carte graphique, dévissez et
enlevez la plaque arrière (version plexi).

Remove the placeholder underneath the back
plate screws.This spacer is no longer neces-
sary for the mounting process.
Entfernen Sie die Platzhalter unter den Back-
plate-Schrauben. Diese Abstandhalter werden
für die Montage nicht mehr benötigt.

Begin by removing the cover on the pre-
installed connector. Unscrew the screws
beneath it to remove the connector.
Entfernen Sie zunächst die Blende des
vorinstallierten Anschlusses. Drehen Sie die
darunter befi ndlichen Schrauben heraus, um
den Anschluss abzunehmen.
Enlevez dans un premier temps le panneau
du connecteur préinstallé. Dévissez les vis en
dessous afi n d’enlever le connecteur.

Position the short connector so that the GPU
lettering is pointed at the inlet.The inlet is labelled
as IN on the cooler cover or connector block. If
the O-rings are not preinstalled on the connector,
insert these into their respective places. Fasten the
connector with the three included M3x12 screws.
Richten Sie den kurzen Anschluss so aus, dass der
GPU Schriftzug zum Einlass zeigt. Dieser ist auf
der Kühlerblende, bzw. im Anschlussblock mit IN
gekennzeichnet. Sollten die O-Ringe nicht im An-
schluss vorinstalliert sein, platzieren Sie diese nun
in den entsprechenden Führungen. Befestigen Sie
den Anschluss über die drei M3x12 Schrauben im
Lieferumfang.

sur le panneau ou le bloc de connexion par “IN”.
Si les joints thoraciques ne sont pas installés
dans le connecteur, veuillez les poser maintenant.
Installez le connecteur à l’aide des trois vis M3x12
incluses dans la livraison.

To exchange the pre-installed LEDs, loosen
the four M3x 8 screws and remove the LED
bracket.The LED strip is glued on and must
be pulled off. Glue the replacement LED
strip on and reattach the bracket.To use
the lighting feature of the pre-installed LEDs
connect the LED strip to an RGB controller
(Item No.: 15315 / available separately).
Um die vorinstallierten LEDs zu tauschen,
lösen Sie die vier M3 x 8 Schrauben und
entfernen Sie die LED Halterung. Der LED
Streifen ist aufgeklebt und muss abgezogen
werden. Kleben Sie nun den Ersatz-LED
Streifen auf und montieren Sie die Halterung
wieder.Um die vorinstallierte Beleuchtung zu
verwenden, schließen Sie die LEDs an einen
RGB Controller (Art.Nr.: 15315 / separat
erhältlich) an.
Afi n d’échanger les LED préinstallés, dévissez
les quatre vis M3 x 8 et enlevez le support
LED. Le ruban LED doit être décollé. Collez
le ruban LED de remplacement et réinstallez
le support de LED. Pour utiliser l’éclairage
pré-installé, connectez les LED à un con-
trôleur RGB (N°art.: 15315 / vendu séparé-
ment).

To operate the graphics card in an SLI setup,
remove the SLI slot cover. If you’d rather
exchange the pre-installed front slot covers
for coloured ones, remove them by pulling
them upwards.The replacement covers can
simply be slotted in from above.
Um die Grafi kkarte im SLI Verbund zu betrei-
ben, entfernen Sie die SLI Blende.
Möchten Sie die vorinstallierten Front-
blenden gegen farbige ersetzen, ziehen Sie die
diese nach oben hin ab. Die Ersatzblenden
können nun einfach von oben eingesetzt
werden.
Afi n d’utiliser la carte graphique en mode
SLI, enlevez le cache SLI. Si vous souhaitez
échanger le panneau frontal contre un en
autre couleur, tirez le vers le haut. Le panneau
de remplacement se glisse dans l’ouverture
d’en haut.

Put the hardware on an antistatic mat. Begin
dismantling the original cooler. Depending on the
structure of the cooler, remove the screws at
the back of the card and carefully unhook the fan
connector fi rst. If the original cooler uses thermal
glue, extreme care should be taken as you can
easily damage parts. Pick up all the items carefully.
Next, clean the hardware of thermal paste or pad
residues with a solvent (e.g. alcohol).
Legen Sie die Hardware auf eine antistatische
Unterlage. Beginnen Sie mit der Demontage des
Original-Kühlers. Je nach Aufbau des Kühlers sind
zuerst die Schrauben des Lüfters zu entfernen und
die Blenden zu lösen. Bei aufgeklebten Kühlern
ist äußerste Sorgfalt geboten. Es können leicht
Bauteile abgerissen werden. Heben Sie alle Einzel-
teile sorgfältig auf. Reinigen Sie anschließend die
Hardware von Resten derWärmeleitpaste oder
Pads mit einem Lösemittel (z.B. Spiritus).
Posez le matériel sur un tapis antistatique.
Commencez par la démontage du refroidisseur
d’origine. Selon la confi guration du radiateur
les vis du ventilateur et les caches doivent être
enlevés d’abord. Si il s’agit d’un refroidisseur collé
il faut travailler très doucement. Sinon des com-
posants peuvent s’arracher. Conservez tous les
pièces soigneusement. Ensuite, nettoyer le matériel
de résidus de la pâte thermique ou de pads avec
un solvant (alcool ménagère).

Before starting the cooler assembly, compare your
card with the picture above.
The cooler is constructed specifi cally for this lay-
out. Occasionally, graphics card manufacturers may
revise the design of their card slightly, causing the
cooler not to fi t on later models. During assembly,
please make sure taller parts have enough space
around them and that the cooler does not damage
your graphics card.
Alphacool International GmbH is not liable
for assembly errors occurring due to
negligence, such as selecting an
incompatible cooler.
Bevor Sie mit der Montage des Kühlers beginnen,
vergleichen Sie Ihre Platine mit dem vorliegenden
Foto.
Der Kühler wurde speziell für dieses Layout kon-
struiert. Es kommt vor, das Grafi kkartenhersteller
über Revisionen den Aufbau leicht abändern und
damit der Kühler auf spätere Modelle nicht mehr
passt.Achten Sie auch bei der Montage darauf,
dass hohe Bauteile frei liegen und der Kühler die
Grafi kkarte nicht beschädigt.
Alphacool International GmbH haftet nicht
bei fahrlässigen Montagefehlern, wie die
Wahl einesinkompatiblen Kühlers.
Avant de commencer l’installation merci de vérifi er
que votre carte ressemble bien a celle sur l’image.
Le refroidisseur a été conçu spécialement pour cette
disposition des composants. Il est possible que le
fabricant change des détails dans la disposition de
ses composants lors d’une révision et que le bloc de
refroidissement nesoit plus compatible.Veillez lors
de l’installation au fait que les composants hauts ne
touchent pas le bloc de refroidissement et que le
bloc n’endommage pas la carte graphique.

With the help of a plastic strip or thermal
paste spreader, spread a thin layer of thermal
paste on the GPU.The layer should be less
than a millimeter thick, otherwise the
surrounding components may be
contaminated unnecessarily.
Tragen Sie nun, unter Zuhilfenahme eines
Plastikstreifens oder Ähnlichem, eine gleich-
mäßige Schicht Wärmeleitpaste auf die zu
kühlende GPU auf. Die Schicht sollte weniger
als einen Millimeter dick sein, da sonst die
umliegenden Bauteile unnötigverunreinigt
werden können.
Appliquez maintenant la pâte thermique sur
le processeur graphique à refroidir. Etalez-la à
l’aide d’une bande en plastique. Afi n d’éviter
de salir les composants autour la couche doit
rester inférieure à un millimètre d’épaisseur.

Using the pattern template, cut the thermal pads
shown in red. Remove the protective fi lm on both
sides and place the pads as shown.
Schneiden Sie, mit Hilfe der Schnittmustervorlage,
die rot dargestelltenWärmeleitpads zu. Entfernen
Sie die Schutzfolie auf beiden Seiten und platzieren
Sie die Pads wie dargestellt.
À l’aide du modèles de découpage, découpez les
pads thermique montrés en rouge. Retirez le fi lm
de protection des deux côtés et placez les pads
comme indiqué.

Remove the protective fi lm on the cooler
bottom and clean the contact surfaces on the
bottom side of the cooler with alcohol or
similar.The surface must be free of contami-
nants.
Place the cooler onto of the prepared video
card.
Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie am Kühlerboden
und reinigen Sie die Kontaktfl ächen auf der
Bodenseite des Kühlers mit Spiritus oder
ähnlichen Mitteln. Die Fläche muss frei von
Verunreinigungen sein.
Setzen Sie den Kühlblock auf die vorbereitete
Grafi kkarte auf.
Enlevez le fi lm de protégé sur le fond du bloc
de refroidissement et nettoyez les surfaces
de contact (la face inférieure du bloc de
refroidissement) avec de l’alcool. La surface
doit être propre sans aucune pollution.
Placez le refroidisseur sur la carte vidéo
préparée.

If you have chosen the plexi cooler, skip
this step.
Screw the graphics card to the copper block.
Hand-tighten the M3x6 screws crosswise
with one turn each.
Haben Sie sich für den Plexi Kühler
entschieden, gehen Sie zum nächsten
Punkt über.
Verschrauben Sie die Grafi kkarte mit dem
Kupferblock. Die M3x6 Schrauben dabei
kreuzweise mit je einer Umdrehung anziehen.
Si vous avez choisi le refroidisseur plexi,
passez cette étape.
Visser la carte graphique sur le bloc de
cuivre. Serrez les vis M3x6 par une seule tour
respective de manière croisé.

Remove the protective fi lm on both sides of
one of the 30 mm x 30 mm x 3mm pads shown
in yellow and place it on the back of the GPU.
The remaining pads must be cut to size. Place
the pads as shown on the graphic card and do
not forget to remove the protective foil.
Entfernen Sie die beidseitige Schutzfolie eines
der gelb dargestellten 30 mm x 30 mm x 3mm
Pads und platzieren Sie dieses rückseitig der
GPU. Die restlichen Pads müssen zugeschnitten
werden. Legen Sie die Pads wie dargestellt auf
das PCB und vergessen Sie auch hier nicht die
Schutzfolie zu entfernen.
Retirez le fi lm de protection des deux côtés de
l’un des pads thermique de 30 mm x 30 mm
x 3 mm représentés en jaune et placez-le à
l’arrière du GPU. Les pads restants doivent être
coupés. Placez les pads sur la carte graphique
comme indiqué et n’oubliez pas d’enlever le fi lm
protecteur.

If you have chosen the acetal cooler
without backplate, skip this step.
Put the backplate on as shown in the picture
and screw the cooler together. Hand-tighten
the screws crosswise with one turn each.
Haben Sie sich für den Acetal Kühler
ohne Backplate entschieden, gehen Sie
zum nächsten Punkt über.
Legen Sie nun die Backplate auf und ver-
schrauben Sie den Kühler, wie dargestellt.
Die Schrauben dabei kreuzweise mit je einer
Umdrehung anziehen.
Si vous avez choisi le refroidisseur
acétal sans plaque arrière, passez cette
étape.
Installez la plaque arrière comme montré
dans l’image et visser le refroidisseur. Serrez
les vis par une seule tour respective de
manière croisé.

If you use the extended connector close
the inlets which you do not need for tubing.
Screw in the screw plugs with the enclosed
tool.
Sollten Sie den verlängerten Anschluss nut-
zen, verschließen Sie die Einlässe, welche Sie
nicht zum Verschlauchen benötigen. Drehen
Sie dazu dieVerschlussschrauben mit dem
beiliegenden Werkzeug ein.
