GRILL INSTALLATION
STEP 1: A. First remove the rubber ring. Then
install the grill on the speaker to
properly seat gasket for installation.
B. Prepare the cabinet.
STEP 4: Screw down the speaker.
STEP 2 : Connect the electric wires.
STEP 3 : A. Set the speaker into the cabinet.
B. Carefully remove the grill.
STEP 5 : Center the grill along the
vertical axis
of the speaker
and place down.
STEP 6 : Press down on the grill evenly
on opposite sides. Then press
down around the perimeter to
fully seat the grill.

1. Do not over-drive the amplifier. Over-driving the amplifier will
result in distortion or clipping and can damage any speaker.
2. Make sure gain controls are properly set. (Follow
instructions in amplifier owner's manual.)
3. Make sure that the speaker is properly rated for the amplifier.
4. Make sure that volume, bass, treble, equalization or
crossover settings do not cause the amplifier to over-drive.
Failure to follow these guidelines mayresult in burned ordamaged
speaker voice coils which will void your warranty.

2. Ne pas surcharger I'amplificateur :cela causerait de la distorsion

3. Veiller abien regler les commandes de gain. (Suivre les
indications du guide d'utilisation de I'amplificateur.)
4. S'assurer que les caracteristiques du haut-parleur conviennent a
I'amplificateur.
5. S'assurer que Ie reglage du volume, des graves, des aigues, de
I'egaliseur et
du filtre ne surcharge pas I'amplificateur.
Si vous ne suivez pas ces consignes, les bobines acoustiques du

Should the product require service, please call the fol-
lowing number for your nearest Authorized Alpine Ser-
vice Center.
.HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
<D You are responsible for delivery of the product to an
Authorized Alpine service CenterorAlpine for repair
and for-payment
of any Initial shipping charges. Al-
pine will, at Its opition, repair or replace the product
with anew
or reconditioned product without charge.
If the repairs are covered bythe warranty, and If the
product was shipped to
an Authorized Alpine Ser-
vice CenterorAlpine. Alpine will pay the return ship-
ping charges.
.WHAT IS COVERED:
This Warranty covers defects
in materials or workman-
ship (parts and labor) in the product.
•WHAT 1$ NOT COVERED:
This Warranty does not cover the following:
<D Damage oCcurring during shipment of the product
to Alpine for repair (claims must be presented to the
carrier).
®Damage caused by accident, or abuse, including
burned voice coils caused by over-driving the
speaker (e.g. amplifier level is turned up and driven
into distortion
or clipping). Speaker mechanical
failure (e.g. punctures, tears or rips).
@Damage caused by negligence, misuse, improper
operation or failure to follow instructions contained
in the Owner's manual.
@Damage caused by act of God,lncluding without
Ilmltation,earthquake,flre,fiood,storms
or other
acts
of nature.
Any cost or expense related to the removal or rein-
stallation ofthe product.
®Service performed by an unauthorized person. com-
pany or association.
®Any product which has the serial number
defaced,altered orremoved.
(j) Any product which has been adjusted, altered or
modified withoutAlpine's consent.
®Any product not distributed by Alpine within the
United States, Puerto Rico orCanada.
®Any product not purchased from an Authorized Al-
pine'Dealer.
