Procedure
1. Open proximity reader box (EOE-118540) and take out the black plastic
mounting bracket.
2. Cut or saw an opening in the bracket for inserting the proximity cable
(circled below).
3. Place the proximity cable through the black plastic bracket and metal
mounting bracket (ANP-302700) as shown. The larger side square cutout in
the bracket is the opening for routing the cable.
4. Mount the black bracket to ANP-302700 with two SUG-300699 screws.
5. Line the proximity reader up to the plastic bracket and push them together
until a click is heard.

6. Mount the proximity reader assembly to the lane door using four SUG-
300699 screws.
Note: If the barcode scanner is already mounted, remove the
barcode scanner bracket and then re-assemble both brackets
together in the same position.
7. Connect the proximity reader to connector for a cord extension. The
extension cord connector is circled in red on the next page. If necessary, pull
some cable length from the wire duct to reach the proximity reader
connection.

8. Upload the firmware onto the proximity reader by inserting the jumper (from
the proximity reader box) into the back of the proximity reader while the unit
is connected to the machine and the machine is powered ON.
9. Wait for the reader to beep three times.
10. Pull the jumper out. The reader will beep four more times.
