range, OL appears on the display (F).
• Press and hold the RANGE button (G) for
more than 1second to exit manual mode and
restore automatic range setting. The AUTO
indicator(6) appears.

17
EN
Zero the display
• Press the REL / button (E) to zero the
measured value (18). The indicator
(1) appears.
• Press the REL / button (E) again to show
the absolute measurement. The indicator
(1) disappears.
Clamp measurement
NOTICE Disconnect the test leads (S) from
the product before making clamp measurements.

18
EN
• Set the function switch (K) to the 60A or
600A position. If the approx. range of the
measurement is not known, select the highest
range. Then move to the lower ranges if
necessary.
• Press the MODE/VFD button (H) to change
the measurement mode. The set measurement
mode is indicated by the following symbols:

the product to zero before taking a reading.
If necessary, press the REL / button (E) to
zero the display (18). The indicator (1) lights
up on the display (F). It is not necessary to zero
the meter when measuring AC current.
• Press the trigger (D) to open the jaw. Clamp
around a single conductor making sure the
jaws are fully closed before taking a reading.
For best results, center the conductor in the
jaw.
• The stabilized value on the display (F) is read as
the actual reading.

19
EN
Inrush current flow
• In AC current measurement mode, press the
PEAK/INRUSH button (L) to measure the
inrush current value. The INRUSH indicator
(7) appears.
• When the circuit is switched off, clamp on the
circuit being tested for inrush.
• Energize the circuit being tested.
• The product captures the inrush current and
the reading hold on the display (F).
• Press the PEAK/INRUSH button (L) for
2seconds to return to normal operation.
The INRUSH indicator (7) disappears.
CAUTION Risk of short circuit! Use the
test probe shrouds (R) to avoid accidental short
circuiting if the components or test points are too
near each other.
AC voltage measurement
• Insert the black connector lead (S) into the
negative COM (black) terminal (I) and the red
connector lead(S) into the positive V(red)
terminal (M).
• Set the function switch (K) to the position.

20
EN
• Connect the test probes (S) in parallel to the
circuit under test.
• The stabilized value on the display (F) is read as
the actual reading.
Measuring AC voltage peaks
• In AC voltage measurement mode, press the
PEAK/INRUSH button (L) to measure the
maximum peak and minimum peak values.
• Press the PEAK/INRUSH button (L) to switch
between the maximum (MAX) and minimum
(MIN) measured value. The appropriate MAX/
MIN indicator (8) appears.
• Press the PEAK/INRUSH button (L) for
2seconds to return to normal operation.
The MAX/MIN indicator (8) disappears.
VFD mode (variable-frequency drive)
