IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following notes.
Read all instructions.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Defective electrical installation or excessive line voltage may
lead to electric shock.
− Connect the buffet server only to an alternating current (AC)
power supply. Make sure that the voltage corresponds with
the voltage details on the device. The buffet server must be
operated using (120 V~, 60 Hz) alternating current (AC).
− Only connect the buffet server to an easily accessible sock-
et so that you can quickly pull the plug in an emergency.

Safety
9
− Do not leave the buffet server unattended while connected
to the mains.

or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged
in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
− Do not immerse the buffet server or mains cord in water or
other liquids. Do not let water seep into the warming tray.
− Do not kink the mains cord and do not lay it over sharp
edges of tables or counters. Do not let the mains cord
hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
− The buffet server features a short mains cord to reduce the
risk of being entangled, and to reduce the risk of tripping.
An extension cord or longer detachable cord is not recom-
mended for use with the buffet server.
− Do not pull the mains plug out of the socket by the cord;
instead, always pull it out by the plug itself.

ture control to the OFF position and unplug from the mains.
− Immediately unplug the buffet server if fire or smoke
is emitted.
The buffet server is fitted with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to
fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
