General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this electric wine set (hereafter
referred to as the “product”), and contains important information
on setup and usage.
Before using the product, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in
personal injury or damage to the product.
Store the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user manual
when passing the product on to third parties.
Proper use
The product is exclusively designed for removing cork stoppers from wine
bottles. It is only intended for personal use and not suitable for commercial
purposes.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages or injury incurred through
improper or incorrect use.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols are used in this user manual, on the product or on the
packaging.
This symbol provides you with useful additional information on
handling and use.
This symbol identifies voltage and the current rating for direct
current.
This symbol indicates the polarity of the charging connectors.
The international efficiency mark indicates that the power
supply meets the level VI requirements.
LISTED
If a product carries this mark, it means UL found that
representative product samples met UL’s safety requirements.
Only use the power adapter supplied.

General safety instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation, excessive line voltage, or incorrect
operation may result in an electric shock.
− Read all instructions.
− The product is for household use only. Do not use it
outdoors.
− Do not use the product for other than the intended use.
− Only connect the product if the line voltage of the power
outlet corresponds to the data on the rating plate of the
power adapter.
− Only connect the power adapter to an easily accessible
power outlet so that you can quickly disconnect it from the
power supply in the event of a problem.

− Only use the product with the supplied power adapter
and charging base.
− The supplied power adapter can only be connected to
the charging base of the product. Do not use for other
purposes.
− Do not use the product with damaged cable or plug. Do
not use the product if it has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors or dropped in water. Return it to the service
center for examination, repair or adjustment.
− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified
professional perform repairs. Contact a qualified repair
shop for this. Liability and warranty claims are waived
in the event of repairs performed by the user, improper
connection or incorrect operation.
− Only parts that comply with the original device
specifications may be used for repairs. This device contains
electrical and mechanical parts which are essential for
providing protection against sources of danger.
− Do not use the product with an external timer or separate
remote control system.
− Do not immerse the product, the power adapter and the
charging cable in water or other liquids.
− Never touch the power adapter with wet or damp hands.
− Do not pull the power adapter out of the outlet by the
charging cable; instead, always pull it out by the adapter
itself.
− Never move, pull, or carry the power adapter by its
charging cable.
− Keep the product, the power adapter and the charging
cable away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the charging cable so that it does not pose a tripping
hazard.
− Do not kink the charging cable or lay it over sharp edges.

− Only use the product indoors. Do not expose the product
and the power adapter to rain or other extreme conditions.
− Never insert any objects into the housing.
− Always switch the product off and unplug it when you
are not using it and it is fully charged, when you intend to
clean it, or in the event of a malfunction.
− Use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, injury or
damage to the product.
− Do not use the power adapter with an extension cord.
Plug the adapter directly into a standard electrical outlet.

Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g., partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental
capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g.,
older children).
− The product can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the product in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children must not play
with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be performed by unsupervised children.
− Keep children under the age of eight away from the
product, the power adapter and the charging cable.
− Do not allow the product to be used as a toy. Close
supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.

Improper handling of the product may result in injury.
− Do not touch or adjust the mechanism or the corkscrew
spiral. Hold the product by its housing only.
− Do not operate the product in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
− The product contains re-chargeable batteries. Do not
dispose of the product into a fire as this may cause an
explosion.
− The corkscrew spiral is sharp. Handle carefully.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product may result in damage to the
product.
− Place the product on an easily accessible, level, dry and
sufficiently stable work surface. Do not place the product
on the edge of the work surface.
− Never place the product on or near hot surfaces
(stovetops, etc.).
− Never expose the product to high temperatures (heaters
etc.) or to the effects of the weather (rain etc.).
− Never fill the product with liquid.
− Never attempt to clean the product by immersing it
in water and do not use a steam cleaner to clean it.
Otherwise, you could damage the product.
− Never place the product in the dishwasher. It would be
destroyed as a result.

− Never force the product onto a bottle or attempt to speed
up the mechanism. The product will work best when it is
operated at its intended speed.
− Stop using the product if its plastic parts exhibit cracks or
breaks or are deformed. Only replace damaged parts with
corresponding original spare parts.

Checking the product and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointed object, you may quickly damage
the product.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A and B).
3. Check whether the product or individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the product. Contact the manufacturer via the service
phone number indicated on the warranty card.
Basic cleaning
• Remove the packaging material.
• Clean all parts of the product before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning”.

Charging the electric corkscrew
1. Connect the charging cable of the power adapter 9to the charging
connector 10 on the charging base 6(see Fig. B).
2. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet.
3. Place the electric corkscrew 1on the charging base.
The blue LED light at the corkscrew spiral will light up when the corkscrew is
correctly positioned on the charging base. Charging will start automatically.
It will take approximately 2.5 hours to fully recharge the electric
corkscrew. With a full charge, approximately 60 bottles can be
opened.
Using the electric corkscrew
1. Use the foil cutter 7to remove any foil from the bottle before removing
the cork. To do so, place the foil cutter around the neck of the bottle and
then turn while pressing it gently (see Fig. C).
2. Place the electric corkscrew 1on the top of the wine bottle, making sure
that it remains as upright as possible at all times.
If you hold the corkscrew at an angle to the bottle, the cork will not be
removed properly.
3. Hold the corkscrew firmly and press the cork removal button 3
(see Fig. D).
The corkscrew spiral will turn in a clockwise direction and enter the cork,
then gradually remove the cork from the bottle.
When the corkscrew stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle.
4. Lift the corkscrew away from the bottle.
5. Press the cork ejection button 2to remove the cork from the corkscrew
(see Fig. E).
The corkscrew spiral will turn in a counterclockwise direction and release
the cork.
6. Return the electric corkscrew to the charging base 6after use.

Wine preserver pump and wine stopper
Use the wine preserver pump 8and a wine stopper 5for preserving the
flavor of opened wine for up to 7–10 days.
1. Attach a wine stopper to an opened bottle.
2. Place the wine preserver pump on top of the wine stopper (see Fig. F).
3. Start pumping by using the handle of the wine preserver pump (see Fig. G).
4. Stop pumping when you hear a click. This indicates an optimal vacuum seal
of the bottle has been achieved.
5. Remove the wine preserver pump from the wine stopper.
6. Use the date indicator 11 to mark the date the bottle was sealed
(see Fig. H).
Wine aerator
− Attach the wine aerator 4to the bottle before pouring the wine out. It
aerates the wine as the wine is poured directly from the bottle, improving
the flavor of the wine.

Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may
cause a short circuit.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the
housing.
− Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.

Improper handling of the product may result in damage to the
product.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such

as knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage
the surfaces.
− Do not put the product in the dishwasher, as this will
destroy it.
1. Disconnect the charging cable of the power adapter 9from the charging
connector 10 of the charging base 6before cleaning.
2. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the product. Then let all parts dry completely.
Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
− Always return all parts to the charging base 6for storage.
− Always store the product in a dry area.
− Protect the product from direct sunlight.
− Store the product so that it is not accessible to children.
