INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFETY AND
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
This section contains safety instructions to protect against the risk of personal injury
and damage to property.
1. General safety
1.1.1. Do not use this device in places with wet floors.
1.1.2. No liability or warranty claim will be accepted for damages caused by
improper handling or improper transport of the device.
1.1.3. Never disassemble the device. No liability or warranty claim will be
accepted for damages or injuries caused by improper use.
1.1.4. Use only original parts or parts recommended by the manufacturer.
1.1.5. Always use the appliance on a stable, smooth, clean, dry,
and non-slip surface.
1.1.6. This appliance must not be operated with an external timer or a separate
remote-control system.
1.1.7. Clean all parts of the device before first use. Please refer to the section
"Cleaning and maintenance" for details.
1.1.8. Before putting your device into operation, please carefully read the user's
manual, which contains important information on placement, use and
maintenance of the device.
1.1.9. Our product complies with the applicable safety standards. Therefore, if
the appliance or power cord is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced
by the dealer, service centre or a similar professional and authorized
service centre to avoid any danger. Faulty or improper repairs can cause
hazards and risks to the user.
1.1.10. Make sure that your mains power supply complies with the information
indicated on the rating plate of the device. The only way to disconnect the
device from the power supply is to unplug the power plug.

1.1.11. The appliance must be connected to an earthed socket.
1.1.12. Never use the appliance if the power cord or device is damaged.
1.1.13. Do not use this device with an extension cable.
1.1.14. Make sure that the device and all its parts are dry before connecting to
power supply and assembling its parts.
1.1.15. Never tauch the device or its power plug when your hands are wet.
1.1.16. Position the device so that the power plug is always accessible.
1.1.17. To avoid damaging the power cord, prevent it from being crushed, bent, or
rubbed against sharp edges. Keep the power cord away from hat surfaces
and naked flames.
1.1.18. Ensure that there is no risk of accidentally disconnecting the power cord or
of stumbling while using the appliance.
1.1.19. Unplug the device after use or when leaving the room where the device is
located or in the event of malfunction.
1.1.20.
Always unplug the device before cleaning. Never cl ean the device during operation.
1.1 .21. Do not pull the cord to disconnect the appliance from the power supply
and do not wrap the cable around the device.
1.1.22. The device must not suffer a power failure.
1.1.23. The operating voltage of the device is 220-240 V~, 50 Hz.
1.1.24. The system must be vented during the initial start-up to allow the
disinfectant to flow out.
1.1.25. Never use the appliance in or near flammable or combustible
environments and substances.
1.1.26. The ambient temperature needs to be between 10 - 43 ·c. Operation in
colder environments is not recommended for efficiency.
1.1.27. Leave enough free space behind the device to add disinfectant.
1.1.28. lf two devices are placed next to each other, there should be a distance of
at least 50 cm between them.
1.1.29. The device must operate and stop smoothly. Make sure the device stands
stable on a horizontal and solid ground. This should be done before
putting disinfectant.
1.1.30. Before you start using your device drain ¼ litres of disinfectant against
possible dust during transportation. In this way you will disinfect your device.
1.1.31. Never pul it into operation if there is no disinfectant in its storage.
1.1.32. When using the product, do not add any disinfectant before the existing
disinfectant is completely used up. This is necessary to ensure that the
disinfectant settings in the product are not disturbed.

1.1.33. Place your device in a shady place and away from electronic and valuable
objects such as TVs, CD players or stereo systems. High heat and sun
can alter the properties of the disinfectant.
1.1.34. Do not operate damaged device. Consult the service.
1.1.35.
Do not oover your product or dose it
wit h
an object.
1.1 .36. Never store explosive materials and products containing flammable gas
(e.g. spray) near your appliance.
1.1.37. Do not tilt your appliance more than 45' during transport or relocation.
1.1.38. Do not use disinfection containers !hat are leaking due to cracks, holes, etc.
1.1.39. Never operate your device without a disinfectant tank.
1.1.40. You should wait in the time intervals between the on and off positions of
the disinfection function (max 5 seconds).
1.1.41. Completely empty the disinfectant if you are not going to use your device
for a lang time. Thoroughly rinse the disinfectant tank.
1.1.42. Disinfectant !hat remains in your appliance for a lang time can freeze in a
cold environment and deform the disinfectant tank.
1.1.43. This product is designed for use in communal living areas and in
workplaces.
1.1.44. This product is intended for hand disinfection only. Use the machine only
for its intended purpose.
1.1.45. Children aged 8 and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of knowledge and experience may use this
appliance only if they are supervised or instructed to use the appliance
safely and understand the hazards involved in using the appliance.
Children must not play with the appliance.
1.1.46. The device should be cleaned and maintained by competent, trained, and
experienced persons.
1.1.47. Children aged between 3 and 8 can only use the device for disinfection
purposes under supervision after the device is placed in its normal
operating position and they are informed about the dangers. Children over
3 and under 8 years old may not plug in, adjust, clean, or maintain the
device.

1.2. Compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Control Regulation and the disposal of waste products
This product does not contain any harmful and prohibited
substances specified in the "Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Control Regulation" published by the Ministry of
Environment and Urban Planning of the Republic of Turkey. lt
complies with the WEEE regulation. This product is made of
high-quality parts and materials that are recyclable and reusable.
Do not dispose of the product in household waste or other waste at
the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point that recycles
electrical and electronic equipment. Consult your local government about these
collection points. Help protect the environment and natural resources by recycling
used products.
1.3. Information about package
The product packaging is made of recyclable materials in accordance with the
national legislation of Turkey. Do not dispose of the packaging waste in household
waste or other waste but drop it at the packaging collection points designated by
the local authorities.
1.4
. What you should do to save energy
1.4.1. Use an appropriately diluted disinfectant for your device.
1.4.2. Do not place your device in direct sunlight or near heat dissipating devices
such as ovens, dishwashers, radiators.
1.4.3. Switch off the device (or power) if you do not use it for a lang time or if it is not
used at night.

GENERAL OVERVIEW ABOUT HAND DISINFECT ION MACHINE
This automatic hand disinfector is a public health equipment that needs to be widely
used in public areas such health care services, schools, hotels, restaurants, stations,
airports etc. lt is a small-sized, space-saving and flexibly installable, non-contact and
convenient product to avoid cross-infections.
Two models are available: Standardmodel (KD 350 S) and the model with thermometer
(KD 350 SE).

2.First Use
2.2. First use
2.2.1. Remove all packaging and label materials and dispose of them according to
applicable local regulations.
2.2.2. lnstall the device in accordance with the Installation Manual.
2.2.3. Ensure !hat the device is in an upright position on a stable, smooth, clean,
dry, and non-slip surface.
2.3. Preparation before first use
2.3.1. Open the cover on the disinfectant tank (carboy) and fill it with an appropriate
disinfectant.
2.3.2. Connect the power plug of your device (AC 220 V).
2.3.3. After the LED indicating that the device is operating (activated) lights up, sensor
contact is made several times to ensure !hat the disinfectant of the device
reaches the nozzles (the air escapes). During this process you may hear a
different sound from the pump, which is normal.
NOTICE: Ensure that your device works with the help of the sensor until
disinfectant reaches the nozzles of the device. lt is normal to hear a different
sound from the pump during this procedure.
2.4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE MiDiSiS HAND DISINFECT ION DEVICE
WITH THERMOMETER
2.4.1. Operating Conditions of the Device:
2.4.1.1. This device is designed for indoor use.
2.4.1.2. lt cannot measure accurately if exposed to direct sunlight.
2.4.1.3. lt cannot measure accurately in a place with air flow (do not place it close
to air curtains at the entrances in shopping malls etc.).
2.4.1.4. Measurements with glasses are not healthy.
2.4.1.5. The forehead should be open (if the forehead is not seen directly due to
forelock, hat, long hair in front of head, etc., the device cannot measure
correctly).
2.4.1.6. lt cannot measure correctly if the forehead is sweaty.
2.4.1.7. The forehead should be positioned centrally to the target.
2.4.1.8. lf the device is moved from its environment to an environment with a
different temperature, it requires an average of 30 minutes to get adapted
to the new environment.
2.4.1.9. The ambient temperature sensor on the back of the device should hang
out of the housing.
2.4.1.10.
The device can measure accurately at ambient temperatures between 15-35 °C.
2.4.1.11. Measurement accuracy is + -0.5 °C under right conditions.
2.4.1.12. Do not blow hot air into the device.
2.4.1.13. Do not wipe the temperature sensor when cleaning the device. Do not bring
the sensor into contact with water or liquid cleaning agents.
2.4.1.14. The device is calibrated for the human skin. lt cannot accurately measure
external objects.

2.4.2. Use of the Device:
2.4.2.1.
The device says "welcome" when an object (human) is detected from 30 cm.
2.4.2.2. The white eyes blink and the audible warning signal starts to sound.
2.4.2.3. The eyes invite the user to approach the device.
2.4.2.4. The measurement starts when the eyes go out and the rate of audible
warning increases.
2.4.2.5.
Recommended measurement method: The user's eyes should be aligned
with the "Midisis" logo and the sensor should have a clear view of the
user's forehead.
2.4.2.6. The measurement should be taken from the forehead. Different limbs,
such as palms, nose, mouth, eyes, will give different results.
2.4.2.7.
The measurement takes between 0.5 and 1 second if the user keeps the
head stable.
2.4.2.8. However, if the user constantly moves the head, the measurement
cannot be taken, and the device continues to wait in this way.
2.4.2.9. lt has got a measuring distance of approximately 3-13 cm.
2.4.2.10. The device is not able to measure if you approach it by more than 3 cm.
lt will warn you with its red eyes to go back.
2.4.2.11. A sad face appears with red LEDs if the measurement is 38 ' C and
above. The system warns of high fever.
2.4.2.12.
A smiling face appears with white LEDs if the measurement is below 38
' C.
The system gives a normal temperature notice.
2.4.2.13. The system is ready to dispense disinfectant when lighting green in the
hand cabin.
2.4.2.14. lt will light blue when dispensing disinfectant.
2.4.2.15. lt will turn red alter dispensing the disinfectant. In the meantime, the
hands should not be taken back to the cabin. You should wait until the
hand cabin turns green.
2.4.2.16. The hand cabin has got a motion sensor. lf the hands are kept inside the
cabin for a longer time and moved without pulling them out, the system
will be able to dispense disinfectant again alter a while.
2.4.2.17. lf one continues to wait in front of the device alter the measurement is
taken, the thermometer will wait for 15 seconds for the user to leave.

parts. Moisten and remove the remaining traces using a wet sponge.
No gas, petrol or similar (harmful) substances may be used for cleaning.

4.9.3. Have the main fuse repaired if it has blown.
Since the electronic circuit of your device needs to be reset in the event of
sudden
power failure or when the plug is pulled, you should wait a short
time before restarting the device.
3.
CLEANING ANO MAINTENANCE
3.1. Before cleaning, disconnect your device from the mains by pulling the plug or
turning off the fuse.
3.2. Frequently check and empty the disinfectant draining container. The waste
disinfectant in this container MUST NOT BE USED AGAIN.
3.3. Never use steam or steam cleaners for cleaning. Do not directly spray water.
In such a case, steam or water particles might come into contact with the
areas with electrical current in your device and cause short circuit or electric
shock.
3.4. Clean the outer surfaces of your appliance with a soft cloth or sponge
moistened with warm water with added baking soda. Use the cloth or sponge
after squeezing weil. Never use scratching or abrasive materials (e.g. thinner,
bleach, powder detergent).
3.5. Never use harmful chemicals or detergents when cleaning the disinfectant tanks.
3.6. For hygiene, the device should be cleaned every 3 months against
contamination that may occur during use.
3.7. Dry the device completely after cleaning.
3.8. The promotional label affixed to the device is removable (removing period is 1
year). To remove this label, lift it from one of its corners and gently pull it in

3.9.1. Turn on the fuse if the fuse is off.
3.9.2. Call your electricity distribution company if the power is out.
3.10. In the event of a power failure,
3.10.1. lfthis happens within the first six hours after initial start-up ofthe device,
unplug the power cord, wait an hour, and then reconnect the device to the
mains.
3.10.2. lf this happens after six hours, you do not need to unplug the power cord.
Your machine will automatically restart after 10 minutes.
3.10.3. lf your device is still not operating after these periods, call an authorized
service.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MiDiSiS KD-350-SE

contribute to your healthy and comfortable life offers you the best efficiency. For this,
you must follow these installation instructions.
OUR DEVICE MUST BE INSTALLEO ACCOROING TO THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
1. Carefully remove the base of the device from its carton packaging. lnstall the device
according to the installation instructions.
2. Unscrew and remove the 5 screws (m4 x 10) screwed on the base.
3. Place the base on a flat surface. Fix the base to the fioor using the fixing screws on
the base.

4. Carefully remove the device body from its carton packaging. Open the rear cover
and remove the empty container.
5. Place the device body on the base so that it matches the screw holes. Tighten the
5 screws using a Phillips screwdriver (m4 x 10).
6. Remove the disinfectant tank. Remove the guide pipe (PPRC) on the cover and fill
the tank with disinfectant. Reattach the guide pipe (PPRC). Place the disinfectant
suction hose. Place the tank back into the body.
Note : Make sure that the tank drain ho se is mounted.

7. Replace and close the rear cover. Straighten the spiral thermometer.
8. Plug the 220-V plug into an earthed socket after performing a general check.
