Kit contents:
Stratus 6 radio
Docking cradle
Self-adhesive wall mount for docking cradle (with alcohol wipe)

Power adapter (120VAC input/5VDC 1.5A output)
Audio cable 1 - 3.5mm stereo male to dual RCA male
Audio cable 2 –dual RCA female to RCA mono male
Audio adapter –RCA female to ¼” mono male
Antenna cable adapter - Female F Connector to Male SMB Connector
Earphones
Controls:
1. : Turn radio on and off.
2. menu: Press and hold to access advanced features and configuration options; also when in configuration
options, press and hold to return to main
display screen.
3. Signal Strength Display: Displays the strength of the satellite signal.
4. ▲▼: Scroll through lists and preview channels; also highlight menu options.
5. Sel: Press to confirm selection for channel and menu items; also press first before entering the channel
number, to directly tune to a channel. Press and hold to go back to the previous
6. 1-0: Sets and selects preset channels. Also used to directly tune channel by entering the channel number.
7. ◄►: Navigate through channel categories (genres).

Connections:

Installation:
1. Choose a location near your sound system’s amplifier to position the radio.
2. Place radio into docking cradle.
3. Mounting bracket (optional): Attach self-adhesive mounting bracket to docking cradle using screws provided.
Clean mounting surface with alcohol wipe provided. Remove plastic from self-adhesive surface on mounting
bracket and place mounting bracket firmly against mounting surface, holding with pressure for 30 seconds.
4. Connect audio cable 1 to connector A of the docking cradle using the 3.5mm stereo male connector. Connect
the dual RCA male audio connectors of audio cable 1 to the dual RCA female connectors of audio cable 2.
Connect the single RCA male connector of audio cable 2 to the line level input of your commercial PA amplifier. In
the event your PA amplifiers requires a ¼” male connector, attach the provided audio adapter to the RCA male
connector. NOTE: This cabling configuration sums the stereo output of the receiver into the single mono input
required by commercial PA amplifiers. If you are using an amplifier that requires stereo input, a stereo audio
cable will be required (not included).
4. Connect the antenna cable adapter to connector B on the docking cradle using the female SMB connector.
Connect the male F connector of the antenna cable adapter to the female F connector of the RG6 coaxial cable
leading to the outdoor antenna.
5. Connect the power adapter to connector C on the docking cradle and plug it into a wall outlet.
6. Press to turn the radio on.
7. Upon power up, the radio may update the SIRIUS channel lineup. The display will read “Channel Updates xx%
Completed”. Do not touch the receiver during this process.
8. Once the channel update process is complete, the receiver will tune to channel 184 (Preview) and the signal
strength meter will appear on the upper right corner of the display. There should at least be one bar displayed.

Alternatively, you may press and hold menu and then press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Signal. Press Sel. The
Satellite and Terrestrial bars show the strength of the signal being received.
If the signal reception is good, press and hold menu to return to the main display screen. If the signal reception is
not good, check your antenna cable connections and the positioning of your antenna (consult the manual
provided with the antenna).
Activation:
1. IMPORTANT: When the receiver tunes to channel 184 (Preview) the display will read “To Activate Call
1-888-539-SIRIUS”. DO NOT DO THIS! This receiver cannot be activated directly by SiriusXM. Instead,
visit www.amtc.com/activate to request that AMTC activate this receiver with the proper business
subscription. You will need your radio’s Sirius ID number, which may be found:
a. On the label affixed to the box the radio came in (under the bar code)
b. On the label on the back of the radio itself (under the bar code)
c. By tuning the radio to channel 000
d. By pressing and holding menu. Sirius ID will be highlighted. Press Sel. The radio ID will be
displayed. Press and hold menu to exit.
The radio must remain on in order to receive the activation signal.
2. When the radio is activated the display will read “Sub Updated Press Any Key”. You may then tune your
desired channel using ▲▼.

Operation:
The Main Display
Whenever you power on your radio, it will automatically tune to the last
channel you were listening to before it was powered off. The display
screen will show the channel number, the song or show being played, and the artist name of the current channel.
This screen is referred to as the main display screen in this guide.

Alternatively, you may display the channel category instead of the channel name. To cause this, press and hold
menu, then press ▼to highlight Display, then press Sel. Again press ▼to highlight Category Name, then again
press Sel. Press and hold menu again to exit.

Selecting a channel
Scrolling
When displaying the main screen, pressing and releasing ▲ or ▼will cause the receiver to immediately tune to
the next or previous channel in the channel lineup. Pressing and holding ▲ or ▼ continuously scrolls through the
channel lineup and briefly displays the information of each channel. When
the button is released, the radio tunes to the last channel it had scrolled to in
the channel lineup.
Direct tune
To directly tune a channel number, press Sel and then the channel number using 1-0. Wait a moment until the
channel is tuned, or press Sel to immediately tune to the channel.
By category
To select a channel by category, press ◄ or ► to scroll through the available categories, then press ▲ or ▼ to
scroll through the channels in each category, then press Sel to select the highlighted channel.

Using presets
While tuned to a channel, press and hold for one second a number button 1-0. That number button will be set to
the channel tuned. To tune to that channel in the future, simply press that number button.
Channel Locking
This feature allows you to lock channels you do not want others (e.g.; employees) to access without your
permission. Locked channels will not appear in the channel or category list. The default lock code is 0000. Locked
channels can be tuned directly using the 0-9 number buttons and entering the locked channel number. You will be
prompted to enter your lock code. If the lock code is correctly entered, the channel will begin playing. If you tune
away from the locked channel to a different channel, the locked channel will again be locked.
Changing the lock code
1. Press and hold menu until the menu options are displayed.
2. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Parental Lock, then press Sel.
3. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Change My Code, then press Sel.
4. You will be prompted to enter the existing lock code. The default lock code is 0000. If this is the first time
you are changing the lock code, enter 0000, otherwise enter your lock code. Use the 1-0 number buttons
to enter the code and press the Sel.
5. Enter a new 4-digit code using the 1-0 number buttons.

6. Once you have entered the code you will then be prompted to enter the new code again to confirm. If you
entered the same lock code again, the code is saved.
7. Press and hold menu to exit.
To lock or unlock a channel
1. Press and hold menu until the menu options are displayed.
2. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Parental Lock, then press Sel.
3. Lock/Unlock is highlighted. Press Sel.
4. You will be prompted to enter your 4-digit lock code. Enter the lock code using the 1-0 number buttons.
5. When you have entered the correct lock code, a list of channels willl be displayed. Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll
through the list and highlight a channel you want to lock or unlock.
6. Press Sel to lock or unlock the highlighted channel. Locked channels will display a lock icon to the
right of the channel name.
7. You can continue to select channels for locking or unlocking. When you
are finished, press and hold menu to exit.

Changing the display’s brightness or contrast
1. Press and hold menu until the menu options are displayed.
2. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Display, then press Sel.
3. Press Sel to choose Brightness or press ▲ to scroll to and highlight Contrast, then press Sel.
4. Press ◄ or ► to increase or decrease the brightness/contrast of the display.
5. Press Sel to confirm the setting.
6. Press and hold menu to exit.
Changing the audio output level
This feature allows you to match the output level of the radio to other audio sources connected to your PA
amplifier. If your radio is connected to an AMTC digital media player (e.g.; iQueue or RemoteLink) for inserting
messages into the music from the radio, use this feature to match the audio output level of the radio to the level of
the messaging output of the AMTC device. Do not use this feature as a main volume control. Use the volume
control on your PA amplifier for this purpose.
1. Press and hold menu until the menu options are displayed.
2. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Audio Level, then press Sel.
3. Press ◄ or ► to increase or decrease the audio output level.
4. Press Sel to confirm the setting.
5. Press and hold menu to exit.
Restoring Factory Default Settings
1. Press and hold menu until the menu options are displayed.
2. Press ▼ to scroll to and highlight Factory Default, then press Sel.
3. Press ▲ to scroll to and highlight Yes, then press Sel.

4. A warning screen will be displayed. Press ▲ to scroll to and highlight Yes, then press Sel.
5. The radio will display Restoring, and will be restored to the factory settings.
6. Press and hold menu to exit.
Troubleshooting:
Radio does not power on
The power adapter is not properly connected to the docking cradle, or not plugged into a live wall outlet.
Radio displays “Check Antenna Connection”
The antenna is not properly connected to the docking cradle. Check the connections between the antenna cable
adapter and the docking cradle, the antenna cable adapter and the antenna cable, and the antenna cable with the
antenna. Check for crimps or damage to the antenna cable.
Radio displays “Acquiring Signal”
The radio is detecting that an antenna is connected, but the signal is insufficient for operation. Check positioning
of antenna, and for crimps or damage to the antenna cable.
Radio displays “Invalid Channel”
You have attempted to tune to a channel that you have not subscribed to. SiriusXM Music for Business
subscriptions include only the music channels from the Sirius channel lineup.
Radio displays “Firmware Updating”
The radio is being updated over the air with the latest software. Wait until the update is done.
Radio does not display song title and/or artist name
The information may not be available or updates may be in progress
No audio/Intermittent audio/Scratchy audio
Check connections between the docking cradle, audio cables/adapters and the PA amplifier.
Distorted audio
The radio’s audio output level may be overloading the input of the PA amplifier. Reduce output level of radio.
Audio level too low
The radio’s audio output level may be insufficient for the PA amplifier. Increase output level of radio.
