Safety informaon
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precauons should
always be followed, including the following;
• This appliance is intended for indoor, household use. Unintended
use or operaon may result in personal injury, damage to property
or damage to the appliance that will void the warranty.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision and/or instrucon concerning safe use of the
appliance and the understanding of hazards. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 years old and
supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years old.
• Never handle or operate any appliance with wet or moist hands.
• Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
Take care whilst cleaning.
• If the appliance has fallen in water do not reach for it, immediately
switch the appliance o at the mains and unplug it.
• Ensure that the cord is not in a posion where it can be pulled or
tripped over accidentally. Never use the cord to carry or pull the
appliance. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance if it has malfunconed, been dropped or
damaged in anyway. If the unit has been damaged take the unit for
examinaon and/or repair by an authorised service agent.
• Do not aempt to open the appliance, repair or modify the
appliance, use the appliance for unintended applicaons or use
accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

Failure to follow these instrucons may result in re, electrical
shock, or risk of injury to persons.
• Do not place the appliance near a naked ame, hot gas or electric
burners, or any appliances generang heat.
• Always remove the plug safely from the socket aer use. Do not
pull from the cord.
• Ensure that all packaging is removed before use.
Appliance specic safety informaon
• The unit comes with a protecve layer of plasc covering the top
of the machine. The unit may appear to be scratched. This can
simply be peeled away and discarded
• When removing ice cream from the appliance, please ensure that
you do not damage the removable bowl or mixing blade of the
appliance.
• Do not switch the appliance on before installing the removable
bowl and mixing blade. The inial temperature of ingredients is
approx. 25 ± 5˚c. Do not put ingredients in the freezer before
placing them in the ice cream maker as this will block the mixing
blade and damage the appliance.
• Do not remove the mixing blade when the appliance is working.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing,
spatulas and other utensils away during operaon to reduce the
risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the machine. Any ice
cream or sorbet that contains raw ingredients should be consumed
within one week. Ice cream tastes best when fresh.
• To prevent freezer burn, always ensure that hands are protected
when handling the removable bowl.
• If the freezer soluon appears to be leaking from the inner bowl,
disconnue use. The freezing soluon is non toxic.
• Do not place the machine on hot surfaces such as stoves, hotplates
or near open gas ames.
• Always make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned before making

ice cream or sorbet.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a
ammable propellant in this appliance.
• Keep venlaon openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstrucon
Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to
accelerate the defrosng process, other than those recommended
by the manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
Always ensure the voltage on the rang label corresponds to the supply voltage.
WARNING! This appliance must be connected to an earthed electrical power
supply. The green/yellow conductor in the supply cord must be connected to the
Earth terminal in the plug. The power supply must have an Earth connecon.
Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug is
damaged, it must be replaced by a qualied electrician or a service repair centre to
avoid a hazard.
Precauons should be followed for safe cable management and connecon to the
power supply
If a new mains plug needs to be ed follow the ng instrucons supplied with
good quality BS1363A plugs. If in doubt consult a qualied electrician or appliance
repair agent.
a) Remove and safely dispose of the old plug
b) Connect the brown lead to the live terminal “L” in the new plug
c) Connect the Blue lead to the Neutral “N” terminal
d) Connect the green/yellow lead to the earth “E” terminal
Use of an extension cable is not recommended. If an extension cable is required, it
should be rated no less than 13A and be fully unwound before use to avoid
overheang. Do not connect mulple appliances to the extension cable
Do not aempt to modify electrical plugs or sockets or aempt to make an
alternave connecon to the electrical supply.

Aer connecng the appliance to the electrical supply, the machine
will enter the seng mode and will display “00:00”. Touch the power
buon during operaon to switch the power o.
MENU
buon
There are three working modes including “ICE CREAM”, “COOLING
ONLY” and “MIXING ONLY”. To enter back into the seng mode
during operaon hold this buon.
TIME +
buon
To increase the me of the mode. Holding the buon will increase
the me rapidly.
TIME-
buon
To decrease the me of the mode. Holding the buon will decrease
the me rapidly.
START/
PAUSE
Aer seng the menu and me, touch the START/PAUSE buon to
start the mode. Press pause to momentarily stop the mode.

Before rst use
• Thoroughly clean all parts of the appliance that come into contact with the
ingredients. This includes xed bowl, removable bowl, mixing blade, transparent
lid, rell lid, measuring cup and spoon.
• Place the appliance on a at level surface.
• To avoid overow and waste, please make sure that the ingredients do not
exceed 60% of the capacity of the removable bowl. Ice cream expands when it is
being formed.
How to use
Making ice cream
Place the appliances plug into the electrical socket and switch the appliance on.
Prepare the ice cream or sorbet recipes in accordance to your recipe.
Place the mixing blade into the removable bowl.
Add the ingredients to the mixing bowl and sr, do not use a metal spoon.
Place the removable bowl into the housing.
Fit the transparent lid so that the rell lid is facing the front of the appliance
and turn an-clockwise so that it is securely t.
7. Press the “MENU” buon to choose the working mode, depending on the
quanty of ice cream it can take from 30-60 minutes to mix.
8. The mer will automacally set. To increase the me press “TIME+” and to
decrease the me press “TIME-” buon.
9. Touch the “START/PAUSE” buon to begin the process. To pause the funcon
at any me press the “START/PAUSE” buon.
10. To add extra ingredients such as ground nuts during the process li up the rell
lid and pour the ingredients into the removable bowl.
11. Aer the mixing is complete, remove the removable bowl and remove the ice
cream using a plasc scoop or wooden spoon.
12. Unplug the appliance and clean the ice cream maker before storage.
Cooling only funcon
Press the “MENU” buon unl you reach the “COOLING ONLY” mode which is set at
ten minutes. This will keep the ice cream cool before or aer mixing. To increase
the me press the “TIME +/-” buon.

Mixing only funcon
This funcon is set at 10 minutes and can be used for alternave freezing of ice
cream or to thicken the ice cream.
Motor self protecon funcon
If the ice cream becomes hard, the mixing ability of the ice cream maker may
become hampered. The self protecng funcon of the motor will automacally
start and prevent the motor from burning out.
Storing the ice cream
Take out the removable bowl and scoop out the ice cream into a suitable container.
Do not use a metal scoop as this will scratch the inside of the bowl.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Switch o the appliance and unplug from the mains.
• Do not clean the appliance with scouring powders, steel wool pads or other
abrasive materials.
• All parts of the appliance are not dishwasher safe.
• Store the ice cream maker in a cool, dry place.
Removable bowl
• Allow the removable bowl to reach room temperature before aempng to
clean.
• Take out the removable bowl and wash the inside of the bowl, then dry
thoroughly. Do not immerse it in water.
Inner bowl
• Wash with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Mixing blade
• Remove the mixing blade from the power unit.
• Wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Power unit
• Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
Transparent lid
• Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.

Recipes
Vanilla ice cream
Method
1. Combine the cream, milk and vanilla essence in a pan and bring it almost to the
boil. Set it aside to cool slightly. Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a separate bowl.
2. Srring connuously, pour the milk/cream mix onto the beaten egg yolks and
sugar. Ensure that the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Return the mix to the pan and over a very low heat; connue to sr unl the mix
coats the back of the spoon. Allow the mix to cool thoroughly.
4. Pour the mix into the Ice Cream Maker and mix unl rm (about 30 minutes).
Variaons:
Chocolate- Omit the cream and replace it with 100g/ 4 oz of plain chocolate that
has been melted in a basin over a pan of boiling water.
Nuts- add 100g/4 oz of chopped nuts to the ice cream mix just before serving.
• 500ml Full fat milk
• 125ml Single cream
• 1tsp Vanilla essence
• 150g Caster sugar
• 3 Egg yolks
Ingredients

Strawberry ice cream
Ingredients
• 400g Ripe strawberries
• 200ml Double cream
• 75g Caster sugar
• 1/2 juice of a lemon
Method
1. Puree the strawberries.
2. Mix the sugar, cream and lemon juice into the puree.
3. Place the mix in a refrigerator to cool.
4. When the mix is cool, pour it into the Ice cream maker and mix unl it is rm.
Variaons:
Strawberries can be substuted for any so fruit. The sweetness of the mix will
depend on the fruit used, so remember to test it for sweetness before freezing.
Please note: the length of me that the mix takes to freeze depends on:
• The quanty and composion of the mix. The addion of alcohol to the mix will
inhibit freezing.
• The original temperature of the mix.
• The room temperature will also aect the mix.

Banana ice cream
Ingredients
• 1 Large ripened banana
• 200ml Skimmed milk
• 100ml Double cream
• 50g Caster sugar
Method
1. Mash the bananas unl smooth.
2. Mix the milk, double cream and sugar.
3. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running.
4. Allow it to freeze unl the desired consistency is achieved.
Peanut buer ice cream
Ingredients
• 4 tablespoons caster sugar
• 3 eggs
• 250ml full fat milk
• 200g peanut buer
• 175ml sweetened condensed milk
• 125ml single cream
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 12 miniature peanut buer cups,
chopped
Method
1. In a medium bowl, beat the sugar and eggs with an electric mixer unl thick, this
will take approximately 3 mins, and set aside.
2. Pour the milk into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over a low heat. Add
the heated milk into the eggs whilst whisking vigorously.
3. Pour the whole mixture into a saucepan and cook over a low heat, srring
constantly. Keep srring unl thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.
Do not boil.
4. Remove from heat and whisk in the peanut buer. Allow to cool slightly, then
whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, single cream and vanilla and allow to
chill.
5. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl and freeze unl desired consistency is
achieved. Add in the chopped peanut buer cups steadily throughout the
freezing process.

Fresh raspberry frozen yoghurt
Ingredients
• 200ml Fresh raspberries
• 50g Caster sugar
• 200ml Natural yoghurt
Method
1. Heat 250ml water, the sugar and the lemon peel in a small pan unl the sugar
has dissolved then bring the mixture to the boil. Cook for 3 mins then turn o
the heat and leave to cool. Pick out the lemon peel and discard. Measure out
100ml of lemon juice and add to the sugar mixture.
2. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running.
3. Allow to freeze unl desired consistency is achieved.
4. Serve scoops of sorbet decorated with a few curls of lemon zest.
Zingy Lemon sorbet
Ingredients
• Thick strip of lemon peel
• Juice of 2-3 lemons
• 250g Caster sugar
• Lemon zest to serve
Method
1. Mash the raspberries or puree them.
2. For a smooth texture remove the pips by sieving.
3. Add the sugar and natural yoghurt and mix together.
4. Pour the mixture into the freezer bowl with the paddle running.
5. Allow it to freeze unl the desired consistency is achieved.

xed warranty, eecve from receipt conrmaon. Your receipt or order number is
required as proof of purchase date so it is imperave that you keep it safe. This
guarantee only applies if the item has been used solely for the use intended, and all
instrucons have been followed accordingly. Please note this product is only for
domesc use only and is not for commercial use.
Abuse of your product will invalidate the guarantee. Returned goods can only be
accepted if repackaged properly within the original colour product box, and
presented with the original receipt of sale/order number. This does not aect your
statutory rights.
Returned products must be cleaned and returned to us in as close to delivery
condion as possible.
If your product develops a problem within the rst 12 months of the xed warranty,
we will pay all shipping costs to have it returned to us. Aer 12 months the
customer will be liable for the cost of returning the product to us. We will then pay
to have the repaired/replaced item shipped back to the customer.

Consignes de sécurité spéciques
• La machine est livrée avec un lm protecteur en plasque qui
recouvre la pare supérieure. La surface peut montrer des signes
de rayures. Veuillez simplement rerer le lm de protecon.
• Lorsqu’on sort la glace de l’appareil, veillez à ne pas endommager
le bol détachable ou la lame de malaxage.
• Ne pas allumer l’appareil sans avoir monté le bol détachable et la
lame de malaxage.
• Pour commencer, le température des ingrédients doit être 25 ±
5˚c. Ne mere pas les ingrédients au congélateur avant de les
placer dans la sorbeère car cela pourrait bloquer la lame de
malaxage et endommager la machine.
• Ne pas rerer la lame de malaxage lorsque l’appareil est en
marche.
• Pour réduire le risque de blessure et de dommages à l’appareil,
éviter de toucher les pièces mobiles. Garder les mains, les cheveux,
les spatules et d’autres ustensiles loin de l’appareil pendant
l’opération.
• Si la glace contient les ingrédients crus elle devrait être
consommée dans la semaine qui suit. La glace est plus savoureuse
si elle est consommée immédiatement.
• Pour éviter une brûlure par le froid, protéger toujours les main
lorsqu’on manipule le bol détachable.
• Si la liquide de congélaon fuit du bol de congélaon, arrêter
d’uliser l’appareil. La soluon est non-toxique.
• Ne jamais placer l’appareil sur des surfaces chaudes comme une
cuisinière, une plaque électrique ou d’une amme nue.
• Nettoyer toujours complètement l’appareil avant de faire la glace
ou le sorbet.
• Ne pas conserver de substances explosives dans cet appareil
comme les aérosols avec un composant inflammable.
• Veillez à garder les fentes de ventilation aérées et retirer toute

obstruction qui pourrait empêcher la ventilation.
Attention : veuillez ne pas utiliser d’appareil ou autres moyens de
décongélation autre que celles fournies par le fabricant.
• Ne pas endommager le circuit réfrigérant
