2INSTALLATION
The Anemoi AIRLUX fan is designed for ceiling installation. Ensure that the ceiling area chosen can hold the
weight of the fan and that there are no obstacles in its operating range. Ensure that the fan is installed at a height
greater than 2.6 m.
WARNING!
Follow the instructions and recommendations contained in this section carefully. Failure to do so may
result in incorrect installation.
2.1 Ceiling Mounting
The fan comes with a mounting bracket to anchor the fan to the ceiling Use the four screws and washers
provided to secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling.

2.3 Mounting the Trims
Before running the power cables through the fan, mount the trims on the down rod.
The down rod has two trims: One on the upper side and another on the lower side. To distinguish the upper
side from the lower side, check the form of the rubber ball joint. The flat part of the ball joint corresponds to the
upper side of the rod.
The trim on the upper side is secured by means of a retaining washer. The narrow side of the washer should
look upwards. Once the receiver connections are finished, secure the trim by tightening the screw.
The trim on the lower side is inserted in the lower part of the down rod with the rubber (narrow) side facing
upwards.
2.4 Preparing the Wires
The power cable must run through the down rod. To do so, unlock and move the ball joint on the upper side by
untightening the screws and remove the pin.
Once you have run the cable through the rod, return the ball joint to its original position
2.5 Securing the Down Rod to the Engine
Follow the following steps:
1. Remove the pin from the lower side of the rod
2. Untighten the screws on the engine support
3. Insert the down rod in the engine support
4. Secure the pin
5. Tighten the screws on the engine support
Once the above steps are finished, mount the trim to cover the engine support.

2.6 Securing the Fan to the Ceiling
To secure the fan to the ceiling, just place the black ball joint of the down rod at the centre of the mounting
bracket.
After securing the fan, insert the reception unit of the remote control just above the ball joint and carry out the
wiring as explained in Section 2.7.
2.7 Electrical Connections to Receiving Unit

2.8 Mounting the Blades
The engine has six projections to secure the blades. One of the end of the blades has two holes on it. Use this
end to insert the blade in the projection. Secure the blade to the engine using the two screws, nuts and
washers provided as follows:
Insert the end cap on the opposite end of the blade and secure it with a screw as shown below:
2.9 How to Pair the Remote Control
You need to set up the receiver for the fan to work properly. Please, follow the following steps:
1. Insert a 12V battery (type 23A) in the remote control.
2. Connect the fan to the power supply. Before 30 seconds, press the start button of the remote control

3OPERATION
The Anemoi AIRLUX fan is operated through a remote control. You must pair the remote control to the fan before
using it, as explained in Section 2.9 above. The remote control has the following switches and buttons:
1- ON/OFF: Press it once to turn the fan on or off.
2- LED light control: Use it to turn the LED light on or off.
3- Speed control: Use it to set the fan speed (6 speed levels). The fan starts at the third speed level by
default.
4- Program: Use it to set the time during which the fan will operate. The fan will automatically turn off after
this time. You can set the time at 1,2,4 and 8 hours. The program is correctly set when a blue light
appears.
5- LED Indicators: They appear when a setting has been made and disappear after a few seconds. To
verify the program when the LED indicators are off, just change the speed.
6- 12V battery, type 23A.
You will find a switch to change the fan direction in the battery compartment. When the switch is in the “S”
position (Summer mode), the air flows downwards. By contrast, when the switch is on the “W” position (Winter
mode), the air flows upwards.

4MAINTENANCE
Please maintain the fan as follows:
Every three months:
•Clean up the dust of the fan with a dry cloth
•Verify that the fan is working properly
•Ensure that the fan does not make any noises or vibrations
•Verify that the fan is working in the correct direction.
Yearly:
•Ensure that the anchoring screws and the blade screws are properly tightened.
Remarks:
Please take the battery off if you are not going to use the fan for a long time.
