Thefixturesonadatalinkarenotconnectedtothecontrollerbutcanexecutepre‐setprogramswhichcanbe
differentforeveryfixture.“Stand‐aloneoperation”canbeappliedtothesinglefixtureortomultiplefixtures
operatingsynchronously.
Auto.‐‐‐Automaticplayback.Thisfunctionallowsyoutoselecttheprogramwhichwillbeplayedafterswitching

Toupdatesoftwareinthefixture:
I.InstallationoftheDMXSoftwareUploader.
1.DMXSoftwareUploaderprogramisavailablefromtheAnoliswebsiteatWWW.anolis.cz.
2.Makeanewdirectory(e.g.AnolisUploader)onyourharddiskanddownloadthesoftwaretoit.
3.Unpacktheprogramtothedirectory.
II.Fixturesoftwareupdating.
1.DeterminewhichofyourportsisavailableonyourPCandconnectit:
‐withtheDMXinputofthefixtureifyouareusingtheflashcableRS232/DMX
‐withtheDMXoutputoftheRobeUniversalInterfaceifyouareusingtheUSBcable.
DisconnectthefixturefromtheotherfixturesintheDMXchain.Turnboththecomputerand
thefixtureon.Makesurethelampisswitchedoff(onlyifthefixtureinvolvesalamp).
2.Switchthefixturetotheupdatingmodebyselectingthe"uPd.M."itemandthenselecting“yES“.
Note:Ifyoudonotwanttocontinueinsoftwareupdate,youhavetoswitchthefixtureoffandon
toescapefromthismenu.
WerecommendcancelingallrunningprogramsbeforestartingtheSoftwareUploader.
3.RuntheSoftwareUploaderprogram.SelectdesiredCOMandthenclickontheConnectbutton.
(SelectCOMiftheserialportisusedorRobeUniversalInterfaceiftheUSBportisused).
IftheconnectionisOK,clickonthe“StartUploadingbutton“tostartuploading.Itwilltakeseveral
minutestoperformsoftwareupdate.
Iftheoption"IncrementalUpdate"isnotchecked,allprocessorswillbeupdated(including
processorswiththesamesoftwareversion).
Ifyouwishtoupdateonlylaterversionsofprocessors,checkthe“IncrementalUpdatebox“.
Avoidinterruptingtheprocess.UpdatestatusisbeingdisplayedintheInfoBoxwindow.

Whentheupdateisfinished,thelinewiththetext“Thefixtureissuccessfullyupdated“willappearin
thiswindowandthefixturewillresetwiththenewsoftware.
