SERVICE INFORMATION.Read this manual thoroughly before you take the first ride on
your new ANYHILL UM-2, and keep it for reference. Whenever you ride this electric kick
scooter, you risk serious or fatal injury from loss of control, collisions, and falls. When
riding, USE COMMON SENSE AND GOOD JUDGMENT.

The listed information in this manual is important for you. For your safety, please
read and follow these operation instructions thoroughly before riding.
This manual applies to your ANYHILL UM-2 electric kick scooter (hereinafter referred
to as scooter or this product).
When entering into public spaces, always comply with the local laws and
regulations. Always check with your local municipalities and find out whether the
electric kick scooter is allowed in your area. Please follow relevant traffic laws
and regulations set forth by the government and regulatory agencies.

For your safety, please read these operating instructions very carefully. Failure to follow
these safety instructions can lead to serious accidents and serious damage. ANYHILL

Please remember that whenever you ride the scooter, you risk injury from loss of control,
collisions, and falls. You need to practice and master your riding skills to minimize
potential accidents or safety hazards. You can reduce the risk by following all the
instructions and warnings in this manual, but you cannot eliminate ALL the risks. Please
remember, safety risks related to road traffic cannot be entirely avoided.Once you
entered a public road, you're exposed to potential risk of road accidents.

Always comply with local laws and regulations when riding this product. Do not ride
where prohibited by local laws. When entering into public spaces, always comply
with the local laws and regulations. Failure to adhere may get fined by local

are not responsible for any injuries, damage, or loss caused by a rider's inexperi-
ence or failure to follow the instructions in this manual.
The ANYHILL UM-2 is designed for personal use only. DO NOT take any passengers
or animals during the ride. DO NOT carry objects on the handlebar. ALWAYS wear a
helmet when riding. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly
with the chin strap in place, and protects the back of your head. Use shoes with a
sturdy, slip-resistant sole.
People of the following SHOULD NOT ride the scooter:
1. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. Anyone who suffers from a disease that puts them at risk if they engage in
strenuous physical activity.
3. Anyone with any mental or physical conditions that may make them susceptible
to injury or impair their capabilities to follow safety instructions.
4. Pregnant women.
5. Anyone whose weight is not within the stated limits (See Specifications).

Riders under the age of 18 years old should ride under adult supervision at all times.
Riders under the age of 14 years old are not recommended to operate this scooter by
the manufacturer.

DO NOT allow anyone to ride your scooter on his/her own unless they have
carefully read this manual. The safety of new riders is your responsibility. Assist
new riders until they are comfortable with the basic operation of the scooter. Make
sure the new rider wears a helmet and other protective gears.
For safety concerns, the top speed of this scooter is electronically limited to
approximately 19 mph (31 km/h), which can be affected by the rider's weight,
inclines, road surface condition, tire inflation, wind level, and battery charge level.
ALWAYS slow down when passing uneven ground surface. ALWAYS ride with
walking speed over speed bumps, thresholds, or any other bumps.
DO NOT apply the electronic brake violently due to the nature of such braking
system. It may rapidly decrease riding speed and the related kinetic energy may
cause riders to fall. Please brake carefully and practice. ALWAYS lean your body
backward while applying the electronic brake, or encounter a sudden drop in speed.
DO NOT touch the brake components or hub motor on your scooter when in use or
immediately after riding, as these parts can become very hot.
BE ALERT! Ride defensively, watch out for obstacles that could catch your wheel or
force you to swerve suddenly or lose control. Be careful to avoid pedestrians,
skaters, skateboards, scooters, bikes, children or animals that may enter your path.
DO NOT ride in the snow, in the rain, or on low traction surfaces or roads, which are
wet, muddy, icy, or slippery for any reason. This could result in a loss of balance or
traction and could cause a fall. Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden
surface changes.
ALWAYS hold tight to the handle bar and make sure steering is in control at all
times. DO NOT take your hands off the handlebar while riding or ride with one hand
only. DO NOT use your phone or other electronic devices while you are riding the
scooter, stay focus on the road. DO NOT do stunts, wheelies, or tricks on your
scooter. This scooter is not made to withstand abuse from misuse, including
jumping, curb grinding, or any other type of stunts.
DO NOT modify your scooter. Use only Anyhill approved parts and accessories.
Modifications to your scooter will interfere with the operation functionality and stability,
which could result in serious injury or damage. Any tuning measures will void the
Limited Warranty and make your ANYHILL UM-2 unsuitable for riding on public roads.
DO NOT put your scooter outdoors for a long time. Excessive sunlight, overheating
and overcooling will accelerate tire aging and compromise the scooter and the battery
pack's lifespan. When the scooter is not in use, keep it indoors where it is dry and cool.

Please pay close attention to the following assembly information. Correct assembly is
relevant to safety and should be carried out exactly under these operating instructions.

1.Attach the handle bar to the stem.
2.Tighten the screws onto both sides of the stem with the wrench.

Open
Make sure that the scooter is turned off. Unlock the folding mechanism, and bend the
handlebar stem to hook the connector on the rear mudguard.
Press the button on the connector to remove it from the brake cover, erect the
handlebar and lock the folding structure.
Fold

Read the security clearance instructions very carefully. Before every journey, the
assembly and especially the opening and closing of the folding mechanism must be
checked very carefully.

Perform a visual inspection. Check that all screws and nuts are properly tightened. Note if
something looks wrong or shows signs of wear and tear which affects riding safety, please
BEFORE RIDING
Check the tires for wear. Make sure the wheels spin freely from the brake. Inflate the tires
to the prescribed air pressure (between 3.0 and 3.4 bar).
TIRES AND WHEELS
Before starting your journey, test the braking functionality by fully apply the rear disc
brake, rear wheel should be locked. Note: As an additional safety feature, the scooter is
designed to cut power to the motor when the disc brake is applied.
DISC BRAKE (REAR BRAKE)
Test the front brake with the scooter turned on, ride at a low riding speed
(between 2.5 to 5 mile/h). Press the brake lever completely with your left thumb.
Your ANYHILL UM-2 should fully stop within three meters.

Practice your riding skills: To gain and maintain control over your ANYHILL UM-2,
practice your first ride in an area without any obstacles.
Turn on the ANYHILL UM-2 (press the power button once). Apply the disc brake
(rear brake) by pressing the brake lever on the right side of the handlebar, so that
your ANYHILL UM-2 does not move unintentionally. Place one foot on the deck and
your other foot on the ground. Release the brake, with your one foot on the ground;
push and slide the scooter forward (as with non-motorized kick-scooters). Then
pressing the throttle lever (with a blue tab) on the right side of the handlebars, the
electric motor will start to operate.
Always operate the throttle carefully and adapt to the current traffic situation. Slow
down to reduce the risk of accidents. Always keep a safe distance between you and
other people, vehicles, or obstacles when riding.
Lean your body slightly forward while accelerating, lean your body slightly backward
while braking. Avoid leaning your body on the handlebar when accelerating or braking.
When riding downhill, your ANYHILL can reach a speed higher than 25 km/h. For your
safety, please break your ANYHILL UM-2 down to maximum safety speed (25 km/h).
Apply the separated-braking method to prevent the braking systems from overheating.
When cornering, slow down to walking speed, carefully turn the handlebar to the
desired direction. Before turning, make sure that other road users are not hindered
and that there are no obstacles in the way.
Always yield to the pedestrians and respect pedestrians' Right of Way. When
approaching a pedestrian from the front, slow down and avoid startling them. When
approaching from behind, ring your bell (pull the bell lever with your right index
finger) or announce yourself to give them heads-up, and slow down to walking
speed when passing.
Your ANYHILL UM-2 has a kickstand. You can fold it down and up with your foot.
Only park your ANYHILL UM-2 on solid and even ground.
When you riding on long curves, make your turn by slightly shifting your weight into
the direction of the curve. Ride carefully and do not lean too close to the curve.
RISK OF ACCIDENT
Do not ride with the kickstand down! This can lead to accidents with serious injuries.

Your ANYHILL UM-2 should only be charged with the supplied and
manufacturer-approved external charger. Make sure that the contacts of the
charging cable and the charging socket are dry, and only be charged in a dry and
clean environment.
KEEP AWAY FROM HEAT. Neither the battery nor the charger should overheat
during the charging process. The temperature of 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees
Fahrenheit) must not be exceeded. Make sure the charger is placed on a fireproof
surface and is not covered by any objects.
BATTERY CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
The charge indicator lights up in red, indicating the battery is being charged. When
the charge indicator light turns green, indicating the battery charging process is
complete. It normally takes about 5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Your electric scooter has an external charger.
Connect the charging cable to scooter’s charging socket underneath the deck
(see the below photo).
THE CHARGING PROCESS
Open the cover
Avoid long periods of time with an uncharged or fully charged battery.
To maximize your scooter’s battery performance, fully charge it for 5 hours,
once a month.
Unplug scooter from the outlet before installing, removing the battery or performing
any maintenance. It is dangerous to work on this scooter when it is plugged into an
AC outlet. Electrical shock can cause serious injury and damage the scooter.
Do not attempt to open the battery. Do not insert anything in the battery and do
not attempt to open its case with any tool. Inserting an object into openings or
in the battery can cause electrical shock, damage or release of dangerous
toxic substances.
PROPER STORAGE AND USE OF THE BATTERY
Charge the battery only using accessories approved by this scooter.

DO NOT attempt to charge your scooter if the charger,the power outlet or
the scooter itself is wet.
As with any electronic device, use a surge protector when charging to help protect
your scooter from damage due to power surges and voltage spikes. Only use the
Anyhill supplied charger. Do not use a charger from any other different product models.
Do not operate the product while it is charging or connecting the charger to the wall
socket. An electric shock can lead to serious injuries and damage the scooter.
Put your ANYHILL out of operation after a fall or severe impact, and watch the
battery for at least 24 hours. If there is an unusual smell, excessive heat, or visibly
leaky liquids, turn off the scooter, disconnect it from the charger and ventilate it
immediately and sufficiently.
Removing, opening, or disassembling the battery module can CAUSE SAFETY
HAZARD. This will damage the IP67 water proof encapsulation and result in electric
shock, battery damage, and leakage of dangerous toxins.
ATTENTION
Batteries are dangerous goods. Please dispose these batteries
properly, and NEVER dispose as residential waste. Batteries
MUST be collected separately for recycling at the end of its life.
Old batteries are hazardous waste. The disposal of used
batteries in household waste is prohibited. Help us to
protect our nature from environmentally harmful pollution,
please dispose the old batteries to a suitable collection point. Customer participation is
important to minimize any potential effects of batteries on the environment and human
health due to the potential presence of hazardous substances.
DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERY

Charge the battery only using accessories approved by this scooter.
1.Pull up the battery lever
to open the battery case.
2.Turning the key 180 degrees
anticlockwise to unlock the battery.
3.Pull out the battery.

When the scooter is off, press the control button to turn on the scooter; When the scooter
is on, press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off the scooter.
Power On/Off
MAIN COMPONENTS
For this scooter, this function is to limit the maximum speed of the scooter, either for a
beginner user or for more controlled riding in a crowded surrounding:
Speed modes
Speed mode 2 - Using full right accelerator throttle,the maximum speed will be
under 14 mph (23km/h). The speed mode will show yellow.
Speed mode 3 - Using full right accelerator throttle,the maximum speed will be
under 19 mph (31km/h). The speed mode will show red.
Speed mode 1 - Using full right accelerator throttle,the maximum speed will be
under 9 mph (15km/h). The speed mode will show green.
After turn on the scooter, press it twice to switch between modes. Press it three times to
start the cruise control model. The screen mark will light on.
Brake
For this scooter, it has 2 independent brake system. One is the electric brake (left
throttle) to control the rear wheel, the other is drum brake (brake lever on the handlebar)
to control the front wheel.
Turn on the Headlight
When the scooter is on, press one time to turn on the headlight and the screen headlight
mark will light. Press one time again to turn off the headlight.

Your ANYHILL UM-2 is equipped with high-quality LED headlight and taillight. The
anti-glare design of the headlight fully complies with K-MARK (StVZO) Germany Road
Safety standard. For your safety, and that of all other road users, please turn the lights
on under poor visibility or nighttime.
Lighting
Turn on the light: When your ANYHILL UM-2 is turned on, press the
power button once to turn on the light. Press it again to turn off.
Turn on / off light
When applying brake functions with the lights on, the tail light illuminates red as brake
light. A completely discharged battery also means that the lighting no longer works.
ATTENTION
You will not be noticed by other road users if your lighting is turned off or not working,
and you can no longer illuminate your route. There is a high risk of accidents, which can
result in severe injuries and damage.
RISK OF ACCIDENT
Your ANYHILL UM-2 has a battery charge indicator consisting of five bars. When all five
bars are displayed, it indicates the battery is fully charged. If only one bar is displayed, it
indicates the battery is running low, please charge as soon as possible.

You can connect your ANYHILL UM-2 to a Smartphone via Bluetooth connection. The app
must be installed manually on an Android Smartphone before pairing. Please download
the installation file from www.anyhill.com to your Smartphone, and install the app.
Turn on your scooter, start the app. The app will search
for near-by available devices automatically.Please
choose your ANYHILL UM-2 electric kick scooter
(Designation Name shows up in-app may differ) by
tapping. If connected, the user interface of the app
pops up right after.
If the "Available devices" dialog does not appear, and
the ANYHILL app and the scooter are not directly
connected, then tap on "Not connected" and the
"Available devices" dialog opens.
Connecting to your ANYHILL
ATTENTION
You need a Bluetooth connection password to pair your
scooter with your smartphone.
Please find the password on page 21.
After pairing, whenever the app is started,
it automatically connects to your paired scooter and the user interface appears
immediately. Only one Smartphone can be connected to the scooter at a time.
The icon turns green when the corresponding function is activated. If you have the
immobilizer activated when the scooter is turned on, the front wheel will locks and it
cannot be driven (The immobilizer is only active when the scooter is turned on).
You can view further technical data of the scooter and change the language of the app.
There are three buttons below the speed display: Bluetooth Connection, Immobilizer,
and Headlight.

Cleaning
Clean your ANYHILL after every trip with a damp cloth and mild detergent. DO NOT
use a high-pressure washer for cleaning. DO NOT clean the scooter with alcohol,
gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemicals. During cleaning,
make sure the product is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the
rubber flap is firmly closed.
How to use the extended nozzle adapter (valve extension)
Remove the screw-on cap from the valve, align and connect the extended nozzle adapter
to the valve. Attach the pump and inflate to the PSI indicated on the tire sidewall.
Remove valve extension immediately after inflating and put back the valve cap.
Regular check
Have your ANYHILL checked regularly; only original and approved replacement parts
and components may be used. If you use unapproved parts, the full functionality and
safety of your ANYHILL can no longer be guaranteed. This can lead to the loss of
